anyone have a moment to explain how the testing GH work? im on hashnest.com/miners, under "Your workers" i get Umisoo but i cant identify the amount of GH that im controlling..

Edit: i've seen the 1GH now but its not pretty intuitive interface.

oh boy. My 2 antminer s3 B7 ordered from Amazon are hashing one at 460GH/S and another at 440GH/s with a frequency of 218.75

my psu wont turn up.. i bought a brand new Rm 850 Corsair, using a paper clip with doogies diagram (green and black) and psu will not turn on.. any ideas or help boys?

using the paper clip i get a sound eachtime i power it up but the fans wont go on...im connecting the 24 pin to the power supply and other side has the paper clip on third and fourth pin as dogie's post, and then i connect 2 6pin pci -e to the antminer (not the same row ) and my power supply fan wont go on, just do a sound each time i turn it on or off.

So you dont actually buy the hardware, just the GH?

I would recommend using an Arch linux derivative for this task, (UP to date, latest cgminer and bfgminer, etc.., well supported)
Requirements would be to set a Fixed snapshot that works and remove update possibility except for the cgminer, other miners and their dependencies, this will remove problems when update arrives, this could be ran from an USB..

It would be also possible to use Ubuntu based one that works pretty good since there's a way to store your file inside the usb and just re use it and  you'll have your file there, etc.

edit: an Ubuntu based like xubuntu would be great since its really lightweight and have lots of drivers available
