Last Block 5 months 14 days ago
Is all ok with the Pool?
I have never seen so a long break
5 month 14 days drilling with 8 PH, and no result
It feels like the pool stuckes.

My mistake. 512% of luck Grin
Very unlucky. And no chances to solve with 3.3 PH now.

I will add 2 PHs.
Where you can see that last block was found 5 months 14 days ago?

https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/pool/solockpool or https://btc.com/stats/pool/Solo%20CK
last block: 5 months 25 days ago
luck: 392%
Good luck! I hope you find a block Smiley

...... this block is so stubborn......MAYBE... we need to get a "magic" reboot - -ck?
Maybe... so I'll do something just as effective - nothing.

Somebody sacrifice something.  DO SOMETHING!!!!!

Sorry already sacrificed all the chickens and goats I have!!!

Sent my remaining 255TH before they run out of hosting contract tomorrow.

One last hurray and chicken offering!

Hopefully the first block of 2019 will land on my plate...

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Hello everybody.
I add 1 PH to ckpool.

This is my share:
"hashrate1m": "1.06P",
 "hashrate5m": "1.08P",
 "hashrate1hr": "1.07P",
 "hashrate1d": "670T",
 "hashrate7d": "145T",
 "lastshare": 1547552260,
 "workers": 80,
 "shares": 22088767721,
 "bestshare": 15367375559.55668,
 "bestever": 15367375559,

Could anyone explain or give me information to read what is bestshare means? And is it good for 1 PH?
Thanks.

 "bestever": 15367375559,

Could anyone explain or give me information to read what is bestshare means? And is it good for 1 PH?

here

The "lastshare" figure is not the difficulty of a miner's best share. It's the timestamp (in Unix time) of the miner's last accepted share.

The difficulty of a miner's best share in the current round is the "bestshare" figure.

The difficulty of a miner's all-time best share is the "bestever" figure.

there is no good or bad for this particular thing, your bestshare could be 1 number far from solving a block and you may never solve any, it could also be very low for months and then you could solve 3 blocks in a row, this is complete randomness-luck based, don't pay much attention to it.

according to > http://solochance.com/

based on current diff , your chances of fiding a block with 1ph  as follows .

Quote
Chance per block: 1 in 43,874

Chance per day: 1 in 305

Time estimate: 305 days

so imagine you shooting in the dark, along side with other 304 people , there is only one rabbit to be shot a day , those represent your chances of having grilled rabbit for dinner.

but also every "almost 10 mins" there are 43,873 people shooting at a single bird , same story above applies.

if your luck is flat 100/100 " not lucky not unlucky" you should get 1 block / bird in 305 days  " provided the number of shooters (difficulty) stays the same.

but those are just in theory, you may never ever solve a block with 1ph, and you may solve a few blocks in a row.

i pesonlally don't care much about all this, i just check the hashrate is showing on the pool from time to time, and that's all about it.

 what's funny? luck is by default is 100/100 aka 100% aka flat aka not random !

randomness and luck decrease as your shares increase, why do you think many pools are able to pay in PPS? simply because they know that in the course of x period of time ,every share you submit has a luck of 100/100 therefore they afford to pay you flat for every share. small pools can't do that as their 100/100 could be months/years and they can't afford to pay you till they hit a block. while large pools say those who have 33.333% percent of the total hash know for sure they will get something very close to 33.333% of blocks per day/week/month/year.

just because antopool found 1 block with 1 share does not mean you have the same chances.

every single hash can win = true

but it should take  5,883,988,430,955 shares on average if you gear has a diff of one

and most people just don't understand how fucking big that number is.

Didn't want to comment on your self-moderated thread, I just think it's a horrible idea.

How do we trust you're not going to take the full block reward, or even the largest chunk of it and lie about the amount, if a block is indeed found?

If a block isn't found how do we know you didn't steal half the group funds?

How do we know that you're indeed pointing them to the solo pool and not making profits off of somewhere else?

Why don't you just coordinate a week where everyone can spend their own funds renting their own rigs in their own accounts rather than send it to you?

So many questions and so many wrong things about your plan that it's extremely risky to trust you with such a thing just because it's so hard to know if you scammed the participants or not.

Why not see if philipma1957 would do it?

He did it back in the day and paid off 2 blocks.

I think he hit a third one  and helped out a guy that was fucked by nicehash.

It was when coins were 400-500 and blocks were 25 coins.

No thanks blocks are now 40000 usd

We hit  2 worth 10,000 each
I also hit one worth 12,000 I mined .1 btc at this address

http://solo.ckpool.org/users/1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtje

because nicehash cheated a guy a block.

Another guy said  he would point his s7 at the same address for a weekend.
I woke up Sunday morning with a 25 coin deposit in the address

so:
I gave 8.3  to the guy that was fucked a block
I gave 8.3 to the guy that pointed his s-7
I kept 8.3 for me.

the records are back in this thread.

I don't know why the people who instantly go on the defensive and start to insult me, make me question them even more.

Your only trust ratings are from 3 years ago. I still stand by what I said, it's not easy for a third party to see your hash rate because you'll be purchasing multiple rigs. It's not easy to judge if you made a fair split because you could lie about your own share. Or of course, you could just blatantly scam the full amount and exit.

Why not see if philipma1957 would do it?

Of course, a trusted member or escrow that has been proved to handle that many funds before is probably a safer investment.

I went back and check  2 blocks at 25 coins each was 50 blocks  value about 12000 for the two.

the 1 I split 3 ways  was 25 coins at 500 a coin about 12000 grand I gave away 8000 of that.

The difference here is a block is 3500 x 12 = 42000  and you could hit 2 not one.  So I am holding 84k say  10k is mine and the other 74k is  is split 7 ways.  I could have KYC issues  passing  the 10,000 to 7 different people

Or my core with 3 hdd backups could crash and burn.  I don't have 70k  laying around to pay if that happens.

To increase luck of ckpool i point my cursed Antminer S9 to http://solo.ckpool.org/users/18mtqKcCZdi29R9efXRSvvGk3djua9WXN8
When i turn it on - always after a short time someone finds a block.

Ok guys, this block is taking forever.
I think its time to go, for a group solo round )
Been a long time since we did something like this.

Ive created a topic : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5099979.new#new
And we will start in a week.

I would be up for turning a few of my miners back on to a group solo mine if this was to go ahead and phil was the escrow for it
Not mega power but every little helps

Cursed? Sounds like a lucky charm.

I was going to send a PM again to ck but thought maybe I'd ask for a community answer to have the opinion of different people, I'm trying to rent a few rigs and gamble a little of my funds on this.

I tried miningrigrentals and I had a miner with a slightly high rejection rate, ck told me it's probably the firmware of the miner and I'm inclined to believe him. I was going to try nicehash now, I used this : https://api.nicehash.com/poolver.jsp

Error: Difficulty too low.
Your pool is shown as incompatible therefore we encourage you to contact pool operator to make sure that the pool is using minimal/starting pool share difficulty which is compatible with our service (and thus compatible with today's miners), please send them following link: https://www.nicehash.com/help/which-mining-pools-are-supported. Thank you!

Can this be related to the fact that ckpool solo hasn't hit a block in months? I'm honestly a complete noob with miners so I'm just here asking for more info. Thanks.
