I'm not sure, should i invest or no? hmmmm  I think that it is a good oportunity to invest in a good coin. As I can see, the devs are doing a great job, and there are many people interested in it. because the trust about this coin is made on Bittrex name , not an anon Dev..
now they start allowing scam Ipo coin, tomorrow they will just use the hack lost coin argument...
if iceberg not a scam, then Bittrexs should express why they are supporting it.
All Bittrex is doing is holding the IPO so people do not have to send their BTC to anon dev BTC address. This way it assures that people will get the coins they paid for. Now.....after the dev gets the BTC from the IPO, that's when the fun starts and will determine if this coin will float or be a scam. how can devs control if price goes up or down? They don't. With an IPO it always runs the risk of being a scam. People are paying a dev for future development in a large lump sum of BTC. Let's say this IPO raises...50 BTC, and for whatever reason instead of putting that $32,500 into development of projects the dev just closes up shop. Now you have a coin with no future and with no dev and you expect the price of the coin to stay the same? It will get mined and dumped and the original investors get robbed. It has happened literally 100's of times in the last 6 months alone. Now I am not saying that will happen here. The dev could have big plans and this coin could take off with support and IPO money. But, that's why it's always a risk to buy into an IPO. Finally someone who talks sense.. Why don't people invest once its listed in an exchange and trades stable for a few days. Want big returns or just greed? This IPO in particular is a total rip off and people don't realize it.. Once the mining is over, all IPO investors are likely to loose their money.. This is happening for pretty much all IPO coins these days and I don't see how this one is going to be any different.. Thank you. I see too many people compare coin IPO's to company stock IPO's before they go public. There is a huge difference here.....a company going public already has a business, support.....A PRODUCT. A coin has an algorithm and the dev's hopes and dreams of what his vision of the future of the coin. It's awesome to generate hype and promise the world to investors, but too many people put blind faith and just throw their money away. I would be willing to risk that ~<2% of all coins with an IPO have been beneficial to investors.....and it's usually the original ones that do, like NXT. IcebergCoin on the surface is a 20% pre-mined IPO, asking 8000 satoshis per coin for those wishing to get in it. The IPO looking to raise 100 BTC ($62,600 in the dev's pocket) before POW even starts. The rest of the 5M coins will be mined within 7 days, and if the coin was to keep that 8000 satoshis per coin as value, after 12 days (5 days IPO, 7 days mining) this coin would have a market value of $313,000. Quite the value for a coin with nothing ground breaking and it's future developments claim to be - Anon-feature (not original), VoIP feature (will it be better than a free service like Skype?), P2P feature , Black Blockchain, and Democracy Blockchain. The Nist5 feature is beneficial....but PoW ends after 7 days, so how exactly is that VERY beneficial at all? Those of you planning on buying into the IPO....can I ask you, what is the reason you think it's worth what the IPO price over established coins out there that are going for A LOT on exchanges? Before you call me a "troll" or a "fudder", throw me a reason because I'm just generally curious. Well, i will tell you my point of view, as a miner i personally dont mine coins with a ridicoulous ipo/ico price, that way only the ones who have invested are the only ones that can make profit. It just depend on what you are expecting from this coin, and how much are u willing to invest on your own risk. I will buy coins from the ico, i think it can raise its value, so i will be winning some btcs, i wont invest more than i can afford to lose. I will also mine it, because the ico price seems fair to me, it guarants not an early dump to the ground from investors. So you can mine, buy, get your free stake, you can do whatever you want |

Perhaps the algo which suits some miners better and distributes the coin in a manner that's slightly more fair. But after 7 days of mining it's over and PoS starts. And... that's all? Whitepaper mentions the possible future features but it's just a list of features unrelated to each other and already existing in other coins, so even the ideas are nothing new, and there is not a word about what purpose will the coin and wallet serve or what problem does it tackle, or anything of any value about the features mentioned. Without anything to back your pretty much undefined intentions with, no serious investor will come within miles of this coin, so you need to think fast about this: - What problem not addressed by any other coin on the market can we tackle with a unique approach and go on to design and deliver an innovative, working solution that would serve some sort of a purpose to the public? - Realistically thinking - if we don't come up with ideas backed by convincing theoretical knowledge and present them within a couple days, it would be a miracle to sell even as much as 1% of the IPO, as the proposed Market Cap valuation is currently far beyond delusional. What reasoning is your supposed Market Cap value based on, anyway? These problems need to be addressed and then we can talk about a coin that could survive past its first few weeks. Don't worry, I still think this has potential - but these questions need to be asked and need to be addressed! Developers - why haven't you addressed any of these concerns? Please respond. Now,our first priority is to launch this coin. We have a hard work ahead and we are working hard to launch accordingly to our plans. This coin is not a copypaste coin,it has been rebuilt because it is the first coin NIST5 PoW/PoS and many features has to be recoded. We have many plans,but,first we have to finish the most important thing. We actually know which one will be the next step, but we are not going to publish it. We don't want fall in pump and dump schemes. We have seen in the last weeks a lot of examples of that, any dev publishes an announce of a next feature, suddenly everybody buy, later everyday sell, and after that people forget about this coin and begin to look for the next one to pump. That's not what we are looking for. We are not going to change the ICO marketcap because we,the team, have discussed it many times and we consider that it is a fair price for everyone. We don't care if nobody buys, we don't care if we sell 0.1 BTC or 90 BTC in the ICO,we prefer to sell 0.1 BTC with a fair price,than 90 BTC with a low price,because this would make investor dump the coin. The objective of the ICO is to give the chance to investors of buying at a fair and realistic price,unsold coins will be destroyed by Bittrex. Yes, only 1.2 million. If they dont sell all of them then the coins will be destroyed, so supply could be lower so what happens if someone buys all of them? do we have an specific time of addition in Bittrex tomorrow? Would rather not stay up all night waiting... I suppose it will be at the morning in Vegas when Bill from Bittrex wake up after party haha I expect to be on time for buying some ICO xD |
