Since I updated to new wallet I have problems with staking. When I leave computer running 24/7 and GPH in taskbar unlocked after couple of hours when I touch GPH again I get: EXEPTION: St13runtime_error CDB: Error -30974, can't open datanase
This is still happening although I made second clean install and cleaned appdata/roaming/Graph folder and used the bacup wallet.
Has old 1.0 wallet same funtionality as 1.1. If yes I will continue using old one as it uses less resources too. Help!
old one doesnt contain some new features as statistics and so on, but works great, i have a daemon of 1.0 running and staking, and havent had any problems with it

Looks like you sent out all your viral in three transactions. Your staked blocks were included in those transactions. Then you only sent back two transactions of 500 viral each. Not sure why you think your staked coins should be in your wallet when you sent (spent) them.

Thank you for the reply. My wallet shows 5 transactions of sending 500 coins back to the primary wallet, and 2 more that say "conflicted", as it appears that it tried to send coins that were already sent. So, by sending coins to myself (within the same wallet), my staked coins just go away? is that what you are saying? Apparently, something with my \AppData\Roaming\Viral folder was jacked... I copied my wallet.dat file and renamed the folder. I ran the wallet again and it re-synced and is now showing all of my coins! However, it is only showing 1 active connection to the Viral network now (before I was getting 16-18). Is there a way to get more connections? You can add more nodes in the config file, but it should detect them within a time

where do i find my mining stats? estimated time to target, etc? i'm kinda new to QT wallets. - tia
Bottom left of the wallet! Hover over the little icons and everything you need is there. thanks, Bob. now it says, 'not staking because you don't have mature coins.' do i need to wait 8 hours each time i reopen the wallet? (rebooted pc.) the bulk of my coins have 790 confirms. sorry for noob questions. Your coins should be mature if they have been in the wallet address for more then 8 hours. Im really not the the guy to be asking theses questions as this is my first ever coin that I've actually downloaded the wallet and staked coins with. Can you imagine that! Bob is this a sweeter more emotional investment for you bro Having actually downloaded the wallet and shiat I have to admit I was skeptical about VIRAL but the community has changed my mind on it and I've bought some mate lol Nice to see you here noobkid, how are you dude?

also it may be a good idea if we formed a viorcoin quasi board of directors.
PM me if you would like to join.
we will need a group of people to spread the workload around as it arises, and the larger the group, the less work for everyone.
I just ask that you have a basic knowledge of the blockchain, ie. If you have figured out how to mine monero, have created a website, can do basic coding, or have knowlege in business development you probably know enough to join the group.
we will need people who have the intention of helping to fund the viorcoin corporation, its licencing, and development, in exchange for shareholders stock.
we need ideas. I have never started a business outside of Canada with international investors, so I need to research the legality of such a proposition if we are to consider growing viorcoin as a worldwide corporation.
Thank you all for your cooperation and patience in this.
also, I dont need to be the one running this, if anyone else in the community would like to take on the leadership role of building a viorcoin corporation, I will support you as much as I can, as long as we make any investment into the final product legal and binding.

If you'd all accept my involvement in a board position I'd like to help. I in no way want to be at the head of this project but rather help it on it's feet finding others to add to the Team and go from there. Thanks for being honest about your limitations at this time and don't blame you. There is much work to do so could you just drop by time to time and let us know if we are heading down a wrong path. We have been busy building the Vior Team and the offer from the Kore Team still stands to help where and when we can. Could someone research other coins public legal docs to see what they did and look into this more. OK, got your PM about meeting Monday evening. At that meeting we should setup one that includes all the potential investors and board members. MM I have asked some friends which are lawyers, about the requirements and so on. Im waiting on a reply from them, and i will post here once i have one. I like the name proposed by bc

Will it be takeover or just let it dież?
|
|
|
1 gain coin control (interim dev, ideally pro bono) 2 gain market cap (enlarging the community through marketing efforts, contact those that are already 8BIT fanatics) 3 attract committed dev (confidence attracts, a developer should not be the source of confidence) 4 continue developments as crypto_graphics suggested
finding a committed dev right now to me is as finding a unicorn, it should be broken down into steps. how much effort is it to gain control? can someone assess this please?
i would think the easy thing to do is a coin swap, but not sure how the exchanges would react to that. Well, once who will takeover and the team that will be made gets done, exchanges can be contacted to know what they think about it
