20% IPO... Price will never go higher than the IPO price: massive dumps as soon as it approaches it.

lol i will invest, and i wont sold it for losing btc, what about other ipo coins, are u saying that is impossible to pass the IPO price?
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICB] IcebergCoin | FIRST NIST5 POW/POS | Join NOW! | Supported by BITTREX on: July 03, 2014, 01:30:56 PM

so dev want 96 BTC for copy/paste NIST and POS ?

Why do you say that its a copy/paste coin??

Is Doge a copy/paste coin of Litecoin for using scrypt???

It is implementing the algo NIST5, as it is one of the most energy efficient, whats the problrm about this?

The code have been writted from the begining by our programmer. We took the algo from Talkcoin, and also other good parts of other coins. So it is not a copy paste, you will be able to see by yourself checking the source, at the launch.

DOGE didn't ask for 96 BTC before launch, using a premine
Litecoin is also copy/paste, not even the first scrypt, also didn't ask for 96BTC before launch

as far as i see, that will be the price for the entire ICO, if it isnt sold, whats the problem?

I think that the ICO has the right price. If they sell it too cheap, then the coin will be dumped in the first days.

Nobody forces you to buy it. But when the price hits the moon don't come here and cry.

I will be ready to buy some in monday.

Only the early birds get the worm.

Do you have any math or logic or history behind your above claim?? IPO's/ICO's should be fairly priced and its main purpose should be for a vast distribution.
With an insane valuation, not many investors would step in.. This means lower distribution which in turn means instant dumps and failure of the coin.

I am not trying to bring the coin down.. It looks like a nice project and the devs have done their homework in putting up a project plan.
Just don't want this to fail because of someone's greed and stupidity... They should eye at long term profits and not short term BTC's. It'll never hit the moon unless its a long term thingi.

They are looking for a 500BTC marketcap, it's not a insane valuation. I think is a real valuation, look at coinmarketcap: GUE, VOOT, BOOST...

If they setup a cheap price, sellers will dump soon and the coin will probably die. You always have to look for a fair price for miners and investors if you desire the success for the coin.

As they sais, un sold coins will be destroyed, so I don't see the problem. If nobody buy IPO, this will be a 100% pow coin, if somebody decide to buy at this price good for him. Why thats mean lower distribution? not at all... Everybody has the choice: free share, invest, mine. Or the three things like me.

I think as you, they didnt put a marketcap of 1000/2000btc, that will be an insane marketcap, but 500btc marketcap is ok

Wow... 96 BTC in ICO.. You guys are planning to become rich instantly huh... I think its over priced for a new clone Talkcoin. How much is the market cap of talk coin.. Is there a misprint in the selling price? Did you miss a zero???

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

Albert Einstein Wink

If this clone successes I can think of better future for the original coin. TAC.

I wish you luck.

Well said..

Seriously guys.. 19.2% premine for ICO.. That is crazy.. As someone said before, are you getting developers from Google??
If you want to make some money, list it at 800 satoshi and you end up making 10 BTC for your effort or roughly 6.5K USD for a weeks worth of coding(I mean copy pasting and changing parameters). Why steal hard earned BTC's from others?

So you think its fairer to put the price at 800 satoshis and make easily x15, what about miners?.
I think its a fair price, 500btc marketcap is not that hard to   make it possible.
Just my 2 polar cents

ICO (Initial Coin Offer) on Bittrex!

We know, that not everyone owns a rig or is available to be in the specific time from every launch. So we decided to give a  chance to invest in our project at a very early stage at a very low price.

Our ICO is being hosted by Bittrex and Escrowed by Bittrex-Bill. Funds will not be released to us until wallets, and source code are released and everything is working as expected. Bittrex is one of the most successful exchange at this moment, so we think that it’s the safest place to develop the ICO.

We will sell 1200000 coins on the ICO at @0.00008 each one. 19.2% of the total supply.

We want to be 100% transparent, so there will be a public address holding the investments.

The ICO will only be released after Bittrex check that everything is working fine. If there is any problem they will return all the investments.

All the funds collected in the crowdfunding will be invested in hiring new full time developers, advertising campaigns, voting systems, business deals, etc.

What will it happen if the ICO is not fully sold?
The unsold coins will be destroyed by Bittrex.

When will ICO be closed?
ICO duration is 5 days, after that, PoW period will begin.

You should change the value of the ICO. 8k is damn expensive.
VVV with 5mill coins is at 5k
ROX with the same max xcoins is at 4k
94btc? are hiring someone from Google?
Either lower the value to 4k or everyone will dump this under ICO prices
Did anyone take a minute to check the Marketcap on launch?

Sorry dev, it's a fact

VVV and ROX are just copy-paste coins, you can check it, just copy-paste, 5 minutes to develop that code. I mined both, I dumped both. Here the dev at least implemented NIST5 in a POS coin.

I don't know.. I think is ok. BOOSTCOIN 560btc markecap, just the first X13 coin with POW/POS, nothing more. As I said it will depend of the future developments and devs, boostcoin was not really serious, and you have more than 500BTC marketcap. PND, VOOT, GUE..

The thing is that, if you setup a cheap price for the ICO, investors will dump their coins, miners will lose money, and the coin will be dead. As investor I would like a 100btc marketcap, but I'm not sure it that would be good for the coin. As a miner, I like a high price for the ICO. ANyways unsold coins will be destroyed. Just my opinion.

I think that you are right, i think 500 btc marketcap isnt so high, there are too many examples of it

I'll add a Pool too !

https://ice.suprnova.cc soon !
Thank you so much!
BTW,our initials are ICB Cheesy

I'll change the currency to ICB, but would like to use "ICE" as the URL; as it is much "cooler" than ICB.. That sounds like "International Central Bank" or so ;-P

https://ice.suprnova.cc is now prepared, you can pre-register already.

We already have NIST5 pool up.. so we know what we're doing Smiley

nice suprnova pools, always a pleasure to mine there
