321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: October 25, 2018, 08:03:49 PM
Since I joined the cryptocurrency world and even this forum I have seen something that people always do that I think its not the right way. People always compaire ETH with BTC telling us that ETH is the best cryptocurrency. I really doubt that because looking at these two coins, although they are all blockchain based currencies but to me BTC is doing far better than ETH. BTC was created before ETH but look at the performances and judge it yourself. I really do not want to talk much about this issue. Guys what do think about what I am arguing about?
You may be right in your own argument. In my opinion, I don't believe any of the two is better than the other. Both ETH and BTC have their unique peculiarities. For instance, Ethereum blockchain is easily used for creating smart contracts which is what makes it preferable in most cases.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: Offline stores that accept payments using bitcoins on: October 25, 2018, 08:00:04 PM
Are there any of you who have offline business but accept payment using bitcoin?
I am yet to actually witness any outlet that accepts Bitcoin for payment. But I have heard so much discussions about this. But how is it really going to be? Will the outlet have a platform where the customers will easily sign in and do the transfer? Not everyone may be able to afford a browsing device on the go to make such payments.
323  Economy / Economics / Re: [ASK] How are you going to handle too much debt? on: October 21, 2018, 10:34:03 AM
what would you do if you had so much debt and that your income was not enough to repay your debt installment?
how will you deal with it?
how to solve it?
This is one thing I usually try to avoid too. I hate it when I owe people because it makes me uncomfortable till I pay off that debt. Even if I don't have the money to pay, I always ensure I keep communication pending when I am able to pay off that debt. But it is best to avoid borrowing if you can. It makes you more at peace with yourself.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: goodbye fiat and USD. on: October 21, 2018, 10:23:30 AM
I read the local news, and there is several articles that made me interesting, a few weeks ago, the mobile version of the Bitcoin wallet bitcoin platform decided to eliminate the conversion of bitcoin currencies with USD. then replaced with Satoshi.

the decision was taken to eliminate dependence on fiat currency. because bitcoin capability if converted to fiat, will interfere.

developer samourai wallet says "farewall fiat" or "goodbye fiat".
Stay and remain observant or watchful. We are still very excited about the Bitcoin invention. But I am still not certain if Bitcoin has the true capability of eliminating fiat or the US dollar.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 21, 2018, 08:08:26 AM
According to the common saying, Africa is a rising continent. Cryptocurrency is still very young and if African can join it now at this early stage, they too will grow with it. It is no doubt a good destination.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: In 10 years 20$ will turn 100k on: October 20, 2018, 09:31:17 PM
10 years time in crypto currencies . 20$ will become at least 100k?
Rn I'm holding tron, and eos 20$ and ontology 10$ airdrop. I don't plan on moving it around cus its nothing to me. I'll wait it out 10 years.
Mate, I think I like your high optimism. But maybe this prediction is too high. You should have maybe look at a value within the range of 20,000 USD which represents 1000 times your current value. I think I support this 1000 times growth more.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or ETH, what good to own now?? on: October 20, 2018, 09:27:09 PM
Litecoin to me is almost loosing its grip on the market as well as its top rating. I think Charles Lee, the founder need to do something about the project. ETH seems a better option now.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance about to offer Fiat-Crypto Trading. on: October 20, 2018, 09:23:57 PM
I still tip binance to be the main cryptocurrency exchange with its constant innovations in the market. But how does it intend to carry out the fiat withdrawal to bank accounts? Or is this not supposed to be part of such fiat crypto trading platform?
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: October 20, 2018, 09:17:06 PM
Have you ever take wrong decision when you were panic. share your experience
I wish I truly know if you mean panic with respect to cryptocurrency or in other areas. If it is crypto, I have actually taken some decisions with respect to selling off my tokens when I thought the project was dumping on me, such came with hydro during the initial stages on token store. But I wish I never sold.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: The significance of bitcoin decentralization on: October 19, 2018, 06:23:35 AM
The decentralization concept of Bitcoin and the blockchain have actually been a blessing to the world. It is what will eventually be the backbone of financial institutions in future.
331  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: October 19, 2018, 06:01:14 AM
I even think 180% is an understatement. Some people may not even had anything before discovering Bitcoin, but today, they are living quite a comfortable life. Some were lucky to buy cheap and sold it quite expensive today.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: October 19, 2018, 05:57:06 AM
Video call for kyc verification?? Is it possible? Do you think it is the best way , rather than uploading your documents for kyc verification process? Most bounty campaigns and ICOs nowadays required a kyc.

If video call for Kyc verification is possible, what is the best and secure app to you use for video call
Maybe I will prefer the video call option for KYC as it is currently. The uploading of documents is what I think I hate most. This is because the documents can easily be reused for another purpose.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH so popular on: October 19, 2018, 05:50:35 AM
ETH's popularity is dwindling maybe as a result of Vitalik Buterin's decision to take a back seat on his legacy project. It is now different from what it used to be. In the past few months, Ethereum has really struggled against Bitcoin.  I personally won't sell Bitcoin at this time to buy ETH.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: October and December are the months of Crypto ??? on: October 17, 2018, 09:53:57 PM
Do you think October and December are the months of Crypto and BTC?
In the case of last year, this was the period that everyone experienced a boom in the cryptocurrency market. But same cannot be said of this year so far with relative quietness in the market with November already approaching.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: Whether Getting Married At a Young Age Can Lead To Poverty And Make Poor Economy on: October 17, 2018, 07:09:56 PM
It is usually advisable to marry early. Getting married on time does not make one poor, besides, you must not wait to be 100% comfortable or wealthy before you marry. You just have to ensure you work hard with your partner to raise your children.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Years From Now in Crypto? on: October 17, 2018, 04:52:39 PM
What would be your thoughts and prediction to what will happen in 5 years from now in Crypto?

Do you see higher values?

Do you see less projects?

Do you see a merger of many projects?

Tighter Regulation?

More acceptance?

Society in general?

We are surely going to be experiencing far higher prices for all the currently existing cryptos in 5 years time. The global acceptance rate is expected to increase with cryptocurrency covering almost every countries.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: October 14, 2018, 07:50:55 AM
I have come to realize that coinmarket cap is now a daily routine for everyone involved in cryptocurrency. I even have the feeling that it is the most visited cryptocurrency website. I also visit it frequently at least twice a day.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Zambian Central Bank Declares Bitcoin Is Not Legal Tender on: October 14, 2018, 07:48:19 AM
Even if Zambia declares Bitcoin not to be a legal tender, I don't see it affecting the price or perception towards bitcoin in anyway. Besides, Zambia does not have any influence in global economy or crypto world. Therefore, it's stand on Bitcoin does not hold any water.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: October 14, 2018, 07:44:21 AM
Cryptocurrency has been quite helpful for me. It has been a source of little livelihood. Also, when ever I am bored, I take to my bounty tasks. It is fast becoming fun to me now.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: October 13, 2018, 10:29:24 PM
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? Grin
The whole thing is becoming tiring. New coins every day. No unique features. The whole nonsense need to really stop. It makes the cryptocurrency market very boring.
