401  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Could Hit $1 Trillion This Year on: August 25, 2018, 09:10:00 PM
"Cryptocurrency market could hit $1 trillion this year with bitcoin surging to $50,000, experts say"
Hopefully, it will come true!!!
Please don't be too over ambitious. I don't think with the way things are now the market can even attain half of the values you have stated here. Let us just hope the year ends on a positive note for cryptocurrencies.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: August 25, 2018, 09:01:42 PM
Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.
Apart from very few tokens, most other projects get launched into the market by conducting token sales through the ICO. There are as many scam ICOs as there are legit ones. You just need to get as many information as possible about the particular ICO project.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: August 25, 2018, 08:45:05 PM
So saw many self airdrops of ERC20 tokens and wave platforms in social media. They would promise their investors a cheap token price purchase, and in turn promise a good listing price at the exchange. 98% of these self airdrop never make it to exchange, and the few that get listed in a decentralized exchange get pumped for 2hrs and there after dumped forever. Why do you think people still patronize these scamming project and not study good ICOs and buy?
The issue here is that there are gullible people everywhere including cryptocurrency. That is why this scammers are still succeeding with their acts. Most people believe everything they see or here and jump easily into it if it sounds good.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: So many cryptocurrencies ! on: August 25, 2018, 08:31:05 PM
The market is too populated with so many cryptocurrencies. Not all of them can even survive. Some of the cryptos that were created are already dead as a result of no viable plan prior to launch. The owners have even disappeared.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: August 25, 2018, 08:04:51 PM
The government in several countries want  to ensure they control Bitcoin. That is why they are just all pushing for regulation. Once they succeed in regulating it, then the control is theirs.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: August 25, 2018, 07:55:31 PM
It is as if people have over exerggerated this hodling of a thing. Even when there is an opportunity to trade or sell and buy back at a much lower price, they won't but rather continue hodling.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela In Chaos - Massive 95% Devaluation -new Bolivar pegged to state crypto on: August 25, 2018, 06:01:54 PM

408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin online payments on: August 25, 2018, 05:55:06 PM
Making online payments is the area where Bitcoin can showcase its greatest strength especially if the payment is not instant. Bitcoin can only be applicable in online transactions and sooner or later, the internet websites may adopt it.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: August 19, 2018, 10:50:34 PM
I have already joined hundreds of airdrops but I got nothing until now. I will never join AirDrop programs any more.
- Each airdrop rewards only some token, that its value from $5 to $20 (calculated by the ICO price)
- Most of the token are dead now (just spammed projects or shit coins)
- Some tokens have been listed on Coinmarketcap now but the token price is terrible low. The value even equal to the transaction fee if I send the tokens to exchanges.
I can imagine just how angered you are about this airdrops disappointments here and there. Most of them are just a bunch of time wasters. IT is best you just ignore those airdrops and focus on something better.
410  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover? on: August 19, 2018, 10:47:58 PM
The way the market has been for the past few weeks, it will be very difficult for anyone including the so called experts to be sure of when the market will recover. But everyone is still hopeful of the market's ability to recover from its present state.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychology when entering the Cryptocurrency market. on: August 19, 2018, 10:44:56 PM
These points listed by the author are quite true. There are usually a lot of things that play in one's mind at first when deciding to enter crypto. You may even read a lot of conflicting articles. But always ensure you have the right mental attitude to start.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest to Ripple? on: August 19, 2018, 10:41:39 PM
Considering the high stability of the ripple coin, I can recommend it for anyone to invest in it. You are very sure of getting back your money or profit by investing in it. The market is relatively stable.

416  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela Wants to Launch a Central Bank for Cryptocurrencies on: August 19, 2018, 10:31:47 PM
After the blockchain-based Crypto Petro Dollar, the Venezuelan government probably has a new idea to get foreign currency into the country. It wants to set up and build up a central bank for cryptocurrencies. Another crazy idea or does the idea have potential?

For more details read this article on CCN.
I really love the idea of the Venezuelan Government. As for me, I welcome any good news that has to do with cryptocurrency especially when it comes to government's support. Things like this will make crypto stronger.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Mainstream In The Next 10 Years? on: August 19, 2018, 10:29:25 PM
Bitcoin still has a lot to do if it is to become a mainstream currency in the next ten years. Although, this is very much possible, but the current challenges with bitcoin need to be overcome first. Bothering on wallets hacking, delay or clogging of transactions sometimes, etc.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep all your bounty coins or you convert some to ETH and BTC? on: August 03, 2018, 10:35:04 PM
The truth is that people will not keep all their bounty coins or tokens. Sometimes, you will have to sell some and keep it either as ETH or BTC while you keep on hodling the rest. Even the project developers too sell some of their own coins or tokens for BTC and ETH. There is no denying that fact.
419  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world? on: August 03, 2018, 07:38:39 PM
Cryptocurrency is really trending. The information about crypto has circulated almost everywhere. The level of debates and arguments about it has continued to be a topic of discussion in so many places around the world. It is a very healthy development for cryptos.
420  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why I don't Support KYC in cryptocurrency as it is on: August 03, 2018, 07:36:19 PM
Honestly speaking, I think there is need for everyone in the cryptocurrency community to analyse this issue of KYC. Is there really need for it? When Satoshi Nakamoto started Bitcoin, did he do anything like KYC? Why are people just being over zealous with this KYC of a thing even when they are not under any pressure to request the information.
