Dev team, you MUST implement KGW asap, or the influx of miners at zero difficulty will kill the coin.
+1 EXE is on the run... don't slow it, please. The coin is very, very vulnerable without KGW. Yes, I realize you're getting more coins than you should be able to right now, and that sounds like a good thing, but if we get a huge influx that all jumps ship after difficulty changes it can totally screw the distribution and possibly kill the coin. It almost happened with VTC, they added it right in time. Yeah now that we are on coinmarket it's time for kwg or we will see multipools raise the diff. That will set us back tremendously, KDC is a good example there. The sooner, the smoother. We aren't that many for it to be a problem? |

When Scrypt ASIC hits the market everyone will be mining this and other algos with their GPU. People will notice this, it is inevitable so I'm not in any hurry. A tipbot would be nice, but this "we need to be listed" talk is a little out of hand. Think a year ahead - would you not like to have mined this at a relative low diff for more than a couple of weeks? Remember, corrections in the market will happen. If you force growth via hype without any substantial to sustain it the drop will be equally massive. The new mean will be higher yes, but it is not good for growth long term speaking (we are not Doge with it's meme-power). Good post, especially about the tipbot. I however do not see the need to hype this so soon because of ASIC and the natural development in cryptomarkets. I am not looking to sell EXE any time soon so the price is just fine. More hash would be nice, but it will come by itself in Q2. and we need to involve people from out there. i don't know you, but I DONT HAVE technical skills to do any of above, we need to involve people into this. AND, nobody guarantees about your theory. IF A COIN IS DEAD nobody will mine it because nobody buy it. N_factor or what else.so, for now we started good, we are on coinmarketcap!let the coin settle a day, and as soon as we have a tipbot, but not before tomorrow, we start PHASE 2! Thanks, I was considering premine shortly, and discarded it because lots of premine scams. Premine will be strongly considered now and if community agrees, I will make premine but for bounties only. I think a small premine is great for people who want to setup a service for this coin since running a service costs some money. Anyone else with me? "No premine" is a nice tag though. It is, but I can't really afford hosting faucets for every coin. Note that I don't do it for the money but I don't get anything for creating faucets and / or other services. I didn't know you meant you when you said people  |

Huge dumps before release ? Sounds like Dev dumps...
Devs aren't the biggest holders of microCoin they didn't have a lot of hashing power and probably got most of their Microcoin by donation and buying. Most of the whales that started dumping mrc came in at around 100-120k block rewards. Devs made a huge mistake by even letting rewards go that high. 50k/block should have been the most and even that is to much in my opinion. I want to make a vote that the devs drop the block reward to 1000 already we have enough in circulation I agree with this, the distribution is fair but the reward structure can kill the coin before getting momentum. Also whales are dumping now as expected now the reward has reached its top. There are also no real dumps on 1 sat (yet?), it are small sells and i intend to think these are miners that 1) dont check the community 2) need some fast BTC 3) whales faking price drops. Also, i did a background check on alcurex / microcoin and one of the founders looks like a trusthworty guy to me with his personal details published on the net. Most important step in the next weeks is a massive marketing campaign for alcurex (the leverage on alt coins is imho their best selling point) and mrc as transmitter for their services. If we do lower it to 1000 now we will suffer the same accusations about instamining (and surely premining) as QRK is still does. I do not think it is unfair or anything like that, but the majority of people might. |

I don't feel with you guys who got left out. You snooze, you lose, that's life. This project has been asking for funding for about one month, and the IPO was prolonged once. This forum has attracted people with a self entitled attitude lately and I am glad I am glad you are not on board with me.
Expecting success from a last minute all-out-effort is something I haven't done since high school. Proceeding to complain about it is cringe worthy.

What do you mean who? There are just less coins generated now. That is the whole point - the N factor slows the coin mining encouraging trading and spending of the coin rather than mining and piling up coins
I mean that every 32 seconds the network discovers a block which costs roughly 155000. On average, everybody gets their share in the same proportion as their speed divided by network hash rate. For example, lets say yesterday network hash rate was 1 GHs and my hash rate was 1 Mhs. That means that on average I was getting 155000/1000=155 MRC every 32 seconds. Lets say today network hashrate is 450MHs. Guess how much coins would I earn if my hash rate dropped to 450 KHs? If I'm getting 70 MRC instead of 155 - that means that my hashrate in proportion to the network is not 1/1000 anymore. Which means that somebody else had managed to get their speed higher. zerxus, this only proofs that you are bad in math - for the last n-factor your hash power was 1/1000th of the network, for the current n-factor your hash power remains the same 1/1000th of the network, so i don't see any difference Everyone gets the same piece of the pie as before, right? |
