1301  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [KAZAKHSTAN] AntMiner S1 180Gh/s, 4 BTC Each on: March 05, 2014, 05:49:40 PM
8 Ants @ 4BTC = 32BTC - Total: 1440 GH/s

27 Ants @ 1.16BTC = 31.32BTC - Total: 4860 GH/s

What would you choose?

For 1.78BTC you have one hosted with Sushi. 32 BTC would get you almost 18 Antminers plus 3 months hosting each. Instead of four.

I'm still waiting for a decent sewerage system here. Not expecting much Wink

I'll pm you the url to keep my personal detail private Wink
1303  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [opening 5th March] Gridseed Dual Asic Round 2 -- lower pricing on: March 05, 2014, 03:11:13 PM
I'll be down for 2 complete sets of 10. Depending on the availability of stable raspberry controller distro I might skip out on the controllers Wink

no problem at all my friend. Will you want shipping from UK of from China. Bear in mind we cannot do Intracommunity Transfers from China

From the UK. I'd rather have zero VAT for 20somethingGBP more than pay VAT in Cyprus and have to wait three years for them to refund the VAT (no joke).

Has Anyone in Europe received his gridseed miner  ? Smiley

Nope, All UK have been delivered and all US / EU will be delivered tomorrow.

Except Cyprus, which will be monday since it's a far away shithole! Wink (looking forward to it though)
1306  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, LA1THS stock ready now. on: March 05, 2014, 11:05:53 AM

Be aware of ordering from Asiabtc. He is not shipping on time - that's well known fact. Furthermore, he is not shipping at all if not under pressure of negative feedback. Therefore, I had to submit negative feedback just to start proceeding with my order. I ordered only 2 USB cells, paid on 15-th of February with BTC
(TXID 503720ba0da85bb99c0c5b51f9b4afdf0930027bab51c90cc2eb6da1e5aea469), sent immediately by email all requested data about payment, address and invoice - got no reply for confirmation of payment and order. One week later i sent reminder email and got short answer by e-mail that payment is confirmed and "it will be shipped monday". Two mondays later I sent second reminder asking for shipping information and than total silence from Asiabtc. No e-mails, Skype communication was in a way of "checking now", "wait" that lasted for hours. I ordered till now from couple forum members and this customer ignorance never happened to me. Tried to convince him to send shipping info and afterwards I will make second order - without success. This reaction frightened me, because anyone that had intention to ship the items, would proceed and double the profit with second order. So still wait/hope that my order will be shipped under pressure of community trust level here.

Same thing here. Haven't had such crappy service ever. Only fullblown scammers deliver slower. (as they don't deliver)

I order 4  sets of   LA3M didn't not receive any response.. I check my bank and payment has been cleared ..

please let us know what is going in ... wire was cleared at 02/28/2014

Keep harrassing jack/angela through pm's and emails. Unfortunately they are a complete shit when it comes to delivering orders.
1308  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: March 05, 2014, 07:53:53 AM
So....5MH firmware anyone???

Where's that at?  I'm doing good to get 3.3MH from a group of 10 right now...

It doesn't exist.
1309  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: March 05, 2014, 07:05:34 AM
Today I got a reponse to all the pm's I've sent to asiabtc.

Yesterday I got the promise that the order would be picked up today so I'm waiting, so far no pickup from DHL yet.

With this customer service and broken promises I don't think it would be weird to ask for a partial refund. Especially with the hefty margins asiabtc is making.

And unfortunately, asiabtc/Jack didn't follow through on his promise once again. Order isn't picked up yet. *sigh*
1310  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [SOLD OUT] Gridseed 5 chip miners Shipping from UK to worldwide on: March 04, 2014, 11:35:58 AM
Yup, cancelling them would be easier. It's already possible to get a decent working version on a Raspberry Pi so I'd rather experiment with that Smiley

Plus I'm getting an extra controller from another order of gridseeds.

no problem, how would you like your refund?

Bank if that's ok with you Smiley Got a local UK bank account if that's cheaper for you Wink

Mine got turned on 5 days later than yours due to a "clerical" error. Still no comp.

Took 5 days for me too but it's mining. Unfortunately after an hour half of the miner failed so now I'm looking at 90-100 Gh/s. Already responded in my helpdesk ticket but nothing so far.

The second batch is probably getting the tracking detail in the mail somewhere today?

Direct delivery of the controllers would be the best yeah. It's more profitable to hook up a raspberry or a PC instead of waiting a week for the controllers Wink

Well for f#cks sake. I emailed jack and angela for the FIFTH time (and several pm's here) and FINALLY got a response back.

Woohoo the package has arrived!  Roll Eyes

Email notification FTW!
1318  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Gridseed 5 Chip Cells on: March 03, 2014, 09:32:07 AM
I'd be mainly interested in having a decent working version of either of them for the gridseeds, my donation goes to the first one Wink

I'd rather spread the gridseeds per 20 over multiple raspberry's to be able to use different pools plus a lower risk of failure for the whole "grid".
1319  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Gridseed 5 Chip Cells on: March 03, 2014, 09:17:39 AM
Ah, let's see whether this one is finished faster than MinePeon, then I'll have to get another Raspberry Wink

Is minepeon working on the gridseeds as well? Couldn't find anything about that?

Nope, haven't seen confirmation of that but when it's taking over 30% of the scrypt mining capacity it'll probably be added somewhere.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [OPEN] Ninja Group Buy #5 - QTY 8 Gridseed LA6M 48Mhash Scrypt [40/200] on: March 03, 2014, 06:16:02 AM
Please open this up to your owners so we can help... I have my own gridseed now as well as my GPU and I would happily mine at our DOGE pool.

Same here, I have 40 of those badboys in order and unless there is a fireware update that fixes the problem that they can't handle high difficulty I'm looking for a nice pool to run with. Doing it on our GB pool will help the group and help me getting better results!
