Just thought it was kinda funny , it was one of the responces Chris gave in the to me Useless Q&A .
There was lots of BS from Chris in the Q&A. My personal favorite was the one where he said it's not true that we don't have a balance. We all have a balance. It's just that a percentage of users (100% IMHO) has it set to 'pending'. Takes a special kind of BS master to come up with that one... No, he probably just leaned that from attending a Microsoft seminar. Personally, I just wish he would go away and stop the charade. None will get anything back from the scammer! He is just getting off toying with us all. you are right, but there are people believe chris. Yea, what's not to believe. He has been so forthright and honest with everyone so far. I am sure glad so many of us have balances now. Barf! Balances are there, apparently behind the scenes. Whether that was true or a lie we'll probably find out pretty soon.

@Flep182: Yup, that's how he basically described it. But it could be that there is no backend and all we are seeing is a 'placeholder' on the frontend.
That's the worst case scenario

Balance is there on the backend for most, but not visible on the frontend unless the account is "activated" on the backend. This split has, apparently, been made to keep the database more secure or something. I'm not overly technical there.

That's one way to see it. He's going to do another update on the Gen2. Once part of that hardware comes online there is bound to be a surge on the hashrate of certain coins. You can't fake that well... hope your right because for now, because for now, I can't figure out where he put his 1.2GHash/s of scrypt asic Well, he's most probably been mining a lot of altcoins and since profitability keeps dropping he switched from "the most powerful" miner to Gen2, which according to the post last year, is more or less another way of looking at getting more profit instead of more hashrate of type X in a box. I wouldn't be surprised if he only needs 800 Gh/s of actual scrypthash to payout for 1200 Gh/s You're getting a payout for x Mh/s scrypt power on LTC. Could be he was only mining LTC/DOGE mixed for 30% of the capacity for example. He might even have BTC hardware running too, who knows Although it's slightly discomforting not to know, I wouldn't call it a "big" red flag. With for example ZeusHASH you buy X Gh/s hashrate and expect hardware to be running for that hashrate. With Chris he's paying what you would've gotten, had you had run the hardware with X capacity. If he's able to earn more with the hardware he has than he has to payout, he's doing well.

okay i dont really get this since english isnt my native
can someone please clarify this
will the fee be paid upfront before we receive our coins or will it be deducted from our earning from the past 6-8 weeks?
Fees will supposedly be taken out of user balances. But still nobody has a balance. I think this is just more BS. I hope I am wrong and everyone gets paid. Your (repeated) opinion has been duly noted. Let's not repeat after this right? I am quite happy with the detailed explanation and the list of answers to the questions. Plus he'll stay in contact with TheMage. So at this point I'm happily waiting for next week.

Any idea when today it'll get posted?
If it's in line with all earlier announcements, around midnight UTC.

Don't think that will be the subject of the posts

Internal source just confirmed, the first official subpoena has been sent to GAW.
Shots fired!
This means the SEC "inquiry" has officially turned into an "investigation". Everything done in the dark will soon be revealed by the light (aka SEC).
And why isn't it leaked yet, WE NEED THIS!

How is this suppose to affect their signature campaign? Anyone receiving payments to their bit-x account should immediately withdraw to an address they 100% control the private keys to. 2FA is a new feature for their service, not their sig deal
If you join now, you will have to enter your phone number which isn't a good idea(for most people). You are right about the payments. They might also pay to the users' address in future. -MZ I really don't see a big problem with it. Giving the phonenumber that is

Has this Chris guy even been in communication with anyone? Scammer-central lately...
He is supposed to make some posts tomorrow so lets see. Lets hope for the best but i would not count on it. Would not surprise me if it has something to do with the tax he wants us to pay. it will be about the tax or another great explanation of what is happening and another stalling tactics like usual, it will be great if people get paid anyway, but the chance is almost zero Well, indepth detail into the plans would be better than "anything about to happen soon"
|
|
|
lets all hope he's gonna say something of substance.
Dont hope for that. Judging from his previous posts, its gonna be a lot of explanation and no clear plan of actions, not to mention any specific date. Well, a solid update on the payouts wouldn't be a weird thing

Let's keep the raging scam claims to a minimum and let's see what he's got to say tomorrow. I'm putting 10 shares on "Gen2".

Homero, the voice of reason... Good, safe to go to sleep, he's looking into it! To be fair, he hasn't promised to explain it or solve it. He's not even looking INTO it, but AT it. Set your expectations correctly, please. But it's HIM. I expect nothing less than magically getting fixed.

Well, "scammed" might be a bit too early. Although my patience is running very thin atm, there is no "proof" it is a scam at this point. So I assume you want to write a sort of "executive summary of what has happened"? Kind of a documentation type of thing?
I really used to believe in Chris... but by now, I consider this as scammed. Check my ltc gear every couple days only to see the same result: pending... You're not the only one there. Although something good needs to happen very soon, I haven't given up yet though

It's quite common to post info about the CTO, since they're registered in company registry type of databases, the others I'd only "let out of their cubicle" once they can give an interview and even then i'd think twice about it
