Why oh why is cryptsy so slow at adding and withdrawing funds. Damn, they are useless..
They are slow also because of the volume they have. Everyone was praising mintpal and just the last week when they were hit by a 4000btc trade volume they failed big time. And , I never thought I was going to say but craptsy just looks more reliable than others. Yeah I agree. Cryptsy has its issues but ultimately it is #1 lol  |

Hard to tell, but it could drop more yet, so hand on and wait.. If it goes up, get in.. But i think there is more of a drop to come yet. But once the block reaches between 8k to 10k the price will start to rise. So we are in a limbo mode right now.. So don't panic and wait.. Its a good time to buy in and average out any small losses if you can.. |

Why the price is only down ?
Because the miners are dumping and will loose out in the end.. The investors always gain. |

Price has dropped nicely, time to pick up some more.. Once the block reaches 10k there will be less in circulation. We are at 6627 about 1k per day and rising as more miners come in making the price drop. Then it will rise steadily as the coins are no longer mined.

I doubt it. Remember this is scrypt-n. I already see Asics ruining scrypt and people migrating to scrypt-n coins. I think the price is very low now due to bitcoin being so low as well as the whole alt coins being diluted by 5 new coins every day. Most of them will fail, but GPU coin should be one that survives due to the store having a real use for the coin. I think a lot of marketing needs to be done, but when that and Mintpal or Cryptsy has GPU coin, I can see a huge upside potential. Congrats, gpucoin has now made it to 1 satoshi on poloniex!  Maybe Jaynes should just switch to something like blackcoins or whitecoins instead? There is no Asic for Scrypt coins yet, still waiting.. But i know the problems associated with scrypt, but this is the algo on which i have chosen to create right now.. Yes it uses scrypt but it was a decision i had to make between x11 and POS i feel that POS coins have a greater future and greener. You cant have X11 and POS combined(shame) i am reliably informed, as this would have been my preferred choice.. If i anyone knows different, then please feel free to let me know.. So at this stage, i am convinced that the scrpyt algo will be the future with POS the network with be stronger for longer and more secure, could be wrong but i like my current business plan which is similar to gpucoin with POS. I will be starting a topic as soon as the coin is ready. James and Micron/henrix did a fab job with the coin unfortunately Micron has not decided to join me.. hendrix, Please check your PM if you havent done so already.. Yes, i know there are lots of coins and all claiming to be different in some way or another, i am like you a miner at heart with an investment background.. So a perfect combo.. Now, i like what GPU coin did, but unfortunately they missed one vital part to their plan.. i will be adding that part to my coin.. No i am not creating another GPU store either.. But will work in a similar way.. I will drop back when i have more info.. |

yes i mined them and not sold a single coin.. Still buying, wish i mined more.. during the dump i mean. No, it was so fast. I never had any thing to buy with in cryptsy. Still trying to sell other coins to buy in.. and running out fast.. lol. |

Honestly i don't care whether it is a dump or not. The most important thing to note is we are almost back to 90000 sat, showing BC is one of the most resilient coins to date  . I don't think its that, i just think that the timing is perfect. More people are hearing about Cryptos and getting on board along with a low BTC price, so people can play other coins etc.. Also with a fantastic market like crypos people can make big money and this is growing daily. |

That was not a dump!!! It was a trading error with Mintpal. Never has a dump gone down 40,000 sat in less than 5 minutes and then back up again in 1 minute.
Actually, I was watching cryptsy and the same happened, slightly off timewise. Seems like the usual whale dump to cause a panic selling then immediately grabbing the cheap coins. No it didn't. It went down to 83,000 and that was due to the "panic" on Mintpal. It did NOT go down to nearly 50,000 as it did on Mintpal. I did saw 60,000 on cryptsy. I changed 2 pairs of underwear Damn, if you don't know the markets by now get out.. And let the pros in.. When a stock dumps, Its because someone with a hefty amount of coins wants to buy more before the price rises too high.. This creates a panic. perfect for the buyers. Its happens all the time on stock markets. But with a volatile market like cryptos its easier to make money on someone who is shit scared and over their head in it.. So don't invest more than you can afford to loose. I haven't invested anything apart from electricity costs. |
