I suppose that you get something wrong. USB is just a standard.
Maybe, are you referring to USB sticks that were used to mine BTC a few years ago. I am sorry to disappoint you, but they are useless these days

It seems that the only way to use more than 8 is modding the video driver and I've never heard of someone bothering to do it. I think it's because at some point it's faster to switch to linux and use as many GPU as you can plug

Hi Mate! You can mine on http://mc.pool.sexy. It's a fair pool with a very low fee. Feel free to join the telegram chat visibile on the webpage if you need some help

I suppose that tpruvot ccminer is the right choice for you. If you have a lot of GPUs, like more than a hundred, you can ask around for something with slightly better performances

Just wait some times sitting on your BCH. Soon diff retarget will happen and you will be able to move your coins lighting fast

They have very different architecture, even though specs look very similar they have huge differences. Also AMD drivers are shit

Yes, it's real profit. No, it's not misleading! I'm mining LBRY since almost one year now and you should do the same

100$ Should include also all the required hardware. I do not blame you for trying to take adavantage of noobs, but this price il pretty crazy for a couple of lines of code..

Many people do that, anyway generally this should not be done. Mainly because the exchange can credit your coins only when they reach a determined amount (for example poloniex shows ETH deposits only where they are more than 1ETH)
If you are mining any scamcoin for a few days it's not a big deal, but if you like that coins you should void keep it on the exchange, indpendently on the credit strategiy

Unfortunately this question does not make any sense. Please delete the topic, take some time for reading in this section and in the bitcoin mining section.
If you are a good reader in a few hours you should start gather some basic concept and than you will ask good questions.

In 15 days this profitability is a half. Make your own choices, personally I am still using all my GPUs and mining. I'm not thinking about seling them in a short period
|
|
|
Even big farms are using pure GPU configurations, that being said I suppose that FPGA are just less profitable
|
|
|
Probably tomorrow if the price keeps dropping.
I have a bet with a friend that rx580s will be <$100 by 9/1/17.
I'll bet against you, but I agree that those prices will drop at least to stock prices, around 200$. As they were before spring 2017

Anyway, there are plenty of topics with details about people rigs, clone builds that are known to work well and you'll be fine. All the information you are asking for is exactly in this section, probably even in the first page, if you are too lazy to read some topics, do not mine.

I've read that MSI has relased some new BIOS for motherboards that should help miner with those kind of problems.
I do not have any MSI mobo, so I cannot test it, but I hope that it will help you

Thank you!
That was exactly the diagram I was looking for. Do you have any script to generate it from a database? It would be interesting to generalize it a little bit, with other coins and other GPU hashrate. For example I would like to see the same graph for a 1070 mining ZEC and mining every day the best coin.

Hi folks,
ive been dying hard to mine for last 3 mnths but i get lot of errors

with AMD is undervolt, memory overclock, core underclock, memory straps in bios edit with Nvidia is power target decrease, core and memory overclock
surprising with heavy power target decrease you get the same hashrate and with overclock hashrate will increase on the same power consumption
It seems to easy to be true! But if that's the case, wellcome Nvidia!

Hi Everyone!
Since I've started mining I've always been an AMD guy, I'm used to deal with BIOS customisazions for undervolting, overcloking and editing timings.
In the last few months I've built a few Nvidia rigs, specifically using gtx 1070 and I've seen a few topics about overclocking and reducing power limit. Right now I am simply using MSI afterburner to overclock a little bit and It seems what with power limit around 80% I'm using the best Hashrate/Watt ratio.
Are there any other tricks to squeeze the last bit of performance out of those GPUs?
