2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO vs IPO on: October 10, 2018, 02:08:00 PM
Here's an article explaining the key differences between an ICO and an IPO:

https://coincodex.com/article/2283/the-differences-between-an-ico-and-an-ipo/

Thanks for your link. But my question is will ICO which is based on new technology Blockchain can replace IPO which is not on any technology. Is it possible in near future companies give coins/tokens instead of shares/stokes to their investors???
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pundi X on: October 10, 2018, 02:02:42 PM
i also invested in pundix , i believe that pundiX will soon give me profit
Here is a good read why Pundix is a good investment  Grin
https://cryptorecorder.com/2018/05/05/pundi-x-npxs-3-reasons-why-this-token-will-moon-in-2018/

so far the pundi x information sounds good, it is also a question of when and why.
could it be that pundi x will be moon at the end of this year I also just analyzed it when the coin goes into many markets.
the team always prepares, waiting for the right information or the right moment is very difficult.

Now PundiX starts growth again even its slow.I think within next one year PundiX will cross at least $.01 per coin.

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHOSE INVESTMENT PLAN IS BEST??? on: September 25, 2018, 03:16:22 PM
Trading is of 2 types rather 3 types when we come to forex, day trading, short term and long term trading, long term trading means holding your position from many days to many months, as far as crypto market is concerned day trading is a bit difficult as we do not have much fluctuation a price during any day total volume in crypto market is less as compared to Forex.

Now coming to investment in various coin, it may get huge profit but think about the people who invested in BTC at $19000, their investment now is 1/3.
while you do short term of long term trading your target price and SL should be in mind, I know a trader in crypto whose portfolio was around $50K, she was holding NPXS and now it has decreased around 10 times, its very important to have your profit level and loss level defined whenever you take the position, the most toughest thing in trading is to know the TOP and BOTTOM due to which greed and fear exists and most of the traders lose their assests, so before taking any position profit level and SL level should be well defined and when it hits any of these level one should look for a fresh position with fresh mind, position should be taken on some basis not blindly, if a trader follows these plans chances of his success are very high, last but not the least, DO NOT CONSIDER ANY FINANCIAL MARKET A QUICK MONEY MAKING MACHINE.

I agree and day trading is really tough in crypto market. But there is one advantage if we trade wisely and without any leverage that we can hold our positions for long time if they don't work according to our plan. Its also hard to choose a particular coin/token in current situation. Thanks for sharing your views.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / WHOSE INVESTMENT PLAN IS BEST??? on: September 24, 2018, 07:57:53 AM
Three forex traders, RAMESH, AHMAD and MICHAEL came to know about cryptocurrency market by December 2016.They decided to invest a certain amount of money in this market after a research. They decided to invest $500 each. But they have different trading plan and views about this market, so they decided to check whose trading plan is best who is a successful investor with following conditions:
1) Investment duration is 3years
2) Nobody can sell before 6months period from investment.
3) They can invest only in three coins.Bitcoin,Ethereum and Ripple.Either anyone can invest his whole investment in one coin or divided it.
4) After six month anyone can sell and later re invest from profit.

On 20th of January 2017, they start their crypto trading journey. Now see below how they implement their trading plan and earn/loss on their investment.

Investment plan of RAMESH:-
Ramesh divided his investment of $500 in two parts. He invested 50%($250) in Bitcoin and further divided rest of 50%($250) in two parts and invest equally in Ethereum and Ripple. So here is how he invested and how much amount of coins he HODL on 20th of January 2017:
He bought Bitcoin @$900 per coin from exchange and he received approx. 0.27 BTC after paying exchange fee etc.
He bought Ethereum @ $10.50 per coin from exchange and received approx. 11.75 ETH after paying exchange fee etc.
He bought Ripple @ $0.007 per coin from exchange and received approx. 17800 XRP after paying exchange fee etc.

Investment plan of AHMAD:-
Ahmad divided his investment of $500 in three parts. He invested 35%($175) in Bitcoin, 32.5% ($165) in Ethereum and 32.5%($165)  in Ripple. Here is how he invested on 20th of January 2017 and what he HODL:
He bought Bitcoin @$910 per coin from exchange and he received approx. 0.19 BTC after paying exchange fee etc.
He bought Ethereum @$10.50 per coin from exchange and he received approx. 15.60 ETH after paying exchange fee etc.
He bought Ripple @ $0.0075 per coin from exchange and he received approx. 22000 XRP after paying exchange fee etc.

Investment plan of MICHAEL:-
Michael divided his investment of $500 in two parts. He invested 50%($250) in Ethereum and further divided remaining 50% in two parts and invested 25%($125) in Bitcoin and 25%($125) in Ripple. Here is detail what he HODl on 20th January 2017:
He bought Ethereum @$10.5 per coin and received approx. 23.60 ETH after paying exchange fee etc.
He bough Bitcoin @ $900 per coin and received approx. 0.1355 BTC after paying exchange fee etc.
He bought Ripple @$0.0075 per coin and received approx. 16660 XRP after paying exchange fee etc.

During 2017 cryptocurrency market saw a boom and every coin hit all time high. Now see below how these friends managed their portfolio and what they earned. They start managing their coins after 6month locking period.

Ramesh decided to move with market and sold his coins with a market reversal in mind as follow:
He sold his whole amount of BTC (Approx. 0.27BTC) on 11th of December 2017 @$15000 per BTC and received approx. $4050.
He sold his whole amount of ETH (Approx. 11.75) on December 22nd 2017 @$800 per ETH and received approx. $9400.
He sold his whole amount of XRP (Approx. 17800 XRP) on December 22nd 2017 @$1.15 per XRP and received approx. $20450.
So his total was $4050+$9400+$20450 = $33900.
He earned profit of $33400 with an investment of $500.
He again enter market at low and reinvested $10000 out of $33900.

On other hand after locking period Ahmad decided to sell his coins in intervals as follow:
He divided his each coin holding in 3parts and sell a part with every price jump.
He sold .07BTC @$4455 on August 15th 2017, 0.07BTC @$15000 on 11th December 2017 and rest approx. 0.05BTC he still holding.
He received total $311+$1050 =$1361.
He sold 5.2 ETH @$300 on 15th of August 2017, 5.2ETH @$1300 on 10th January 2018 and rest approx. 5.2ETH still holding.
He received total $1560+$6760= $8320.
He sold 7000 XRP @$0.22 on 29th of August 2017, 10000XRP @$3 on 3rd January 2018 and rest approx. 5000 XRP still holding.
He received $1540+$30000= $31540.

Now his total is as follow:
From closed positions
$1361+$8320+$31540= $41221
From holding positions
$335+ $1248+$ 2750 = $4333

He also reinvest $20000 on low market in intervals.

Michael decided to HODL his whole portfolio and didn't sell anything yet and his holding value at current market price is as follow:
He HODL 0.1355BTC @$6700 = $907
He HODL 23.60 ETH @$240 = $5664
He HODL 16660 XRP @$0.55 = $9163
So total on date is $907+$5664+$9163 =$15734.

From Above trading plans it is clear that all three friends earned from their investment of $500 a huge amount of money. But whose plan is wise, sensible and professional, its topic of discussion. My personal view is trading plan of AHMAD is professional and sensible as he sold his holding wisely and already covered his investment. I think many member here have similar kind of trading or investment strategies.Kindly share which trading strategy is professional, wise and sensible according to you from above and why???

Note: Please ignore my English mistakes if anyone find them.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain??? on: September 20, 2018, 11:55:54 AM
BTC and blockchain are a new round of technological revolution!
BTC will not disappear, and those that disappear are those that are not used as speculative wages for speculative wages!
ETH, EOS.ADA.OMG and other cryptocurrencies will survive with BTC!
Yes both are revolutions and both came into light at same time.
ETH,EOS,ADA are blockchains by themselves and many new blockchain projects based on them.ETH blockchain provide platform for new blockchain projects. Is same case with Bitcoin??? As much as I know Bitcoin is a payment network and first digital currency.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain??? on: September 20, 2018, 11:50:08 AM
Blockchain will almost certainly survive longer. Bitcoin needs the blockchain but blockchain doesn't need the bitcoin.

So my question is will Bitcoin survive or fall???What will happen if every country launch their own crypto currency using Blockchain technology???Will Bitcoin disappear???Please share your views/opinions and experience.

Nobody can tell you whether bitcoin will actually survive or not or whether something else will come along that is better to replace it, but I can tell you with an almost certainty there will likely always be one form of decentralized currency whether that is bitcoin or not. Maybe think of bitcoin like a prototype. The first car or airplane was just a basic model and they have both obviously gone through constant evolution and models to get to the designs we have now.

We went from this:

To this:

And this:

To this:

We already have multiple cryptos that have tried to improve upon or add additional features to bitcoin's design. Who knows what cryptocurrency will look like in the future and some new model may come along that blows bitcoin out of the water in every aspect and that is something we as investors and users have to seriously consider.

Thanks for an excellent explanation.Blockchain technology will develop with course of time and more modified & advance forms of Blockchain came into light in near future and maybe same can happen with Bitcoin as well.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain??? on: September 20, 2018, 10:15:43 AM
why do you even insist on separating the two from each other?
it is like asking which one would survive longer, cars or combustion engines! bitcoin is based on blockchain technology and it is the one that introduced it to the world. bitcoin is also the one that is improving this technology and as the technology grows bitcoin grows and vice versa. they are not separate, they are one thing.

Thanks for your words.I am not insisting to separate them.I am just sharing what I understand.I agree with you upto some points because currently Bitcoin is dominating whole crypto world. but same time there is question.:
How this dominance of Bitcoin remain as it is or it grow with time???

On other hand Blockchain is a technology and everyone (Govt. and all kind of business houses) are willing to adopt it but less keen to adopt Bitcoin. Now in that case will Bitcoin still survive???

why shouldn't bitcoin survive just because some sectors don't want to adopt bitcoin right now?
again I would go back to the car example, not everyone owns a car so will the car industry survive?!

in case of bitcoin, as I said it is unique. if a government adopts the blockchain technology, they will be creating a centralized coin (like Venezuelan Petro) nobody cares about a centralized altcoin and it certainly won't even affect bitcoin's adoption or even its survival.

Yes I understand your example of car and  from your example car  it is clear that car industry also survive only if those cars have uses in our lives. If some new invention take place of cars or you can say ride then no use of cars means car industry extinct.Same way Bitcoin's survival also depends upon its use.Isn't it???

LMAO, I think the OP doesn't understand what he/she is saying. Grin
It's like separating the brain from a human body but Blockchain technology can be used in many many ways and not just for crypto currencies such as Bitcoin. I have read some article about the Blockchain technology and its future uses such as determining a fake and a genuine medicine with the help of this technology that was created by none other by the legendary "Satoshi Nakamoto" way back on 2008, this guy or whoever he is, he is a real genius and his invention will surely be more useful in the future. Cool

You mean to say Blockchain technology is nothing without Bitcoin???
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain??? on: September 20, 2018, 08:15:48 AM
I think OP is confused as Bitcoin is based on Blockchain technology so it means that both are connected and not separate. Ya but Blockchain technology can be used in other field also and in coming years you can see lot of infrastructure will be using blockchain technology for their product
Thanks for your words mate. But I am not confused.
Can you tell me if suppose all countries of world( As many of them either planning or working on it) launch their own National digital currencies like USA launch a digital dollar, Indian launch digital rupees etc using blockchain technology and ban use of Bitcoin.Still Bitcoin survive or grow without its demand and use.
I don't think Blockchain technology depends upon Bitcoin but Bitcoin depends upon blockchain technology.Isn't it???

Everyone on this forum is familiar with Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. So no need to discuss what they are except this; Bitcoin is first or we can say father of digital currency world and Blockchain is new revolution in digital technology world.
Currently market is down after a golden run and every day millions of people came to know about this new market and its uses. Some with negative views and some advocate it.Many country allowed crypto trading and many banned because of speculations and scams. There is lots of media attention about Bitcoin since its evolution and then its price rise. Many called Bitcoin a shit/fraud/scam when first it came into light but within 7-8years it touched $20000 per coin.
On other hand many new Altcoins like ETH, Ripple etc. also gain popularity and boost the need of blockchain in every filed. Now from media news and discussion on many forum I came to conclusion that everyone(Govt. big business houses) wants to adopt Blockchain technology but same time they are either opposing or banning Bitcoin and its uses.So my question is will Bitcoin survive or fall???What will happen if every country launch their own crypto currency using Blockchain technology???Will Bitcoin disappear???Please share your views/opinions and experience.
15  Local / Press & News from India / Re: i want trading in crypto but???? on: September 16, 2018, 07:30:11 AM
Hello, friend i also interested in crypto, reasearch on it last 2 year but i a scared about what decision govt. take ban or not? It's not easy to trade in it without permission.

you suggestion please i am confuse Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Matter between Indian exchanges and RBI is in Supreme Court and September 11, 2018 was the day for final verdict but that was postpone for 12th September and then 13th September. After that there is no news what happen next. You can trade peer to peer or crypto to crypto. I read few news that RBI and SEBI are digging deep about crypto market and they formed separate cells for that and they are planning for future.Just invest only that amount of money which you can hold for long or afford to loss.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful with fake exchanges on: September 16, 2018, 06:48:36 AM
Hackers and scammers are doing every thing to cheat hard earned money of common people through this new revolutionary cryptocurrency market. Its really hard to recognise a fraud or scam within blockchain system.Everyone is trying to steal money through bogus projects, exchanges etc.Even useless projects idea succeed and attracting  investors like a magnet.I think before any investment decision in this market we need to investigate through different Chanels.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Sad Story With Ethereum! on: September 15, 2018, 11:06:02 AM
I have joined in this form in November 2017! Before that, I did not know about Ethereum but I had a group for buy - Sell bitcoin! When my elder brother told about Ethereum and he ordered me to keep an eye on coinmarketcap always! That time Ethereum price was 330 USD and after few days, it went to 290 USD and the ln the bull market was started! But after almost one year, I have to see Ethereum price at 170 USD! I am feeling too much bad. What about you guys?
I came to know about cryptocurrency market fully January 2017 and at that time 1ETH was @$18 per ETH. I was waiting for a correction and planning to buy @$12 but it went passed $25 and reached $45 per ETH.Still I wait for a correction but no correction and it crossed $100 per ETH and then a continue rise till $300 and only then a correction happened and price of ETH fall to $125 and I bought @175 and it reached all time high $1400.I sold it @$1350.So it was a profitable.I think this new correction deepen much and we can't predict when it will restart upside. So just invest only that amount which you can Hold or afford to lose in long run.Best of luck
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how long will everyone can wait? on: September 15, 2018, 10:31:35 AM
Since january we all experience the red down lines
everyone experience this how long can you still hold your coins
and still hope for the best , are we waiting for another 3 years to reach the top
or we are now heading back to upward lines

I think this market now mature slowly because now investors choose wisely. Still most of world unaware about this market and crypto use.Quick rise only possible in case of big business entities or financial institutions enter this market.Hope for best. 3years time is enough for next rise.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallet for Ethereum on: September 13, 2018, 05:44:53 AM
Hello

anyone know good wallet to store Ethereum ?

Thank you!

Use MetaMask to store Ethereum and Ethereum based tokens/coins.This is very secure and recommended by myetherwallet as well.
20  Local / Press & News from India / Re: One of the Reason behind crypto market fall??? on: September 12, 2018, 07:00:50 AM
I believe that such scams were being conducted out of the box when the governments were not taking any serious interest in crypto. It'd be very easy for scammers to scam when they know that they are not going to be watched/caught, unless some authorities show up and take a stand. But, I think that crypto is an interesting subject that everyone, including governments should learn more about. They're just seeing the dark side of crypto because they want to, if they're not scared about the taxation part and have the guts to regulate it, I think we're strong enough to fight such scams and earn through this as well.
Exactly and stated correctly.
Monitoring crypto is the best policy to fight against money laundering and terror funding.
For example what happened after notebandi
Even RBI stated that 98.6 % currency banned came back again in the system.
Peer to peer exchange is something new and has different working principle,
So banning completely will rise more serious problem including corruption.Scams were operated when people became greedy , always invest what you afford to loose or else stay away from crypto world.

Today Supreme Court Of India will give its final judgement on cryptocurrency trading and transaction ban.Yes this market is interesting and everyone who have knowledge about it wants to invest. Banning is not a solution because even after ban still trading is going on.Only strict regulations is the solution.I hope we hear a positive outcome from apex court.
