121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is investing in ICO's a good option? on: January 18, 2019, 02:00:47 PM
is it a good idea to invest in ICO's and what do you think is a good deciding factor to pick what ICO's to invest in?
Surely, the team behind the project matters most than any other factor. If you have a low profile or weak team managing an ICO project, you don't expect much success from such ICO.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC or ForbesCrypto? on: January 18, 2019, 01:56:42 PM
Which one do you think is more reliable, CMC or ForbesCrypto?
I would say CMC
I currently don't know much about ForbesCrypto and as such I will still tip cmc to be the best platform for cryptocurrency ratings and price listing.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to get reliable bounties on: January 18, 2019, 01:40:57 PM
I have seen a lot threads here about how to choose good bounties. It shows the challenges many of us here are going through in choosing a good bounty. If you really want to maximize  your chances of participating in bounties of successful ICOs, i will recommend Bountyhive for you. The success rate of their bounties is very high. Their social media campaign is less stressful because of the absence of weekly reports. They have a limit as to the number of participants in each campaign thereby enabling you to earn a higher income. Although there are certain drawbacks in their processes such as your inability to see your weekly earnings on their spreadsheet, in general their services are really good and i will recommend for everyone
I pretty much agree with you about bountyhive. They have a quite reliable platform, but let's hope they keep it up because sometimes when people receive too much praises, some tend to misuse the praise and confidence people have in them.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: January 18, 2019, 01:35:42 PM
...but to me BTC is doing far better than ETH. BTC was created before ETH but look at the performances and judge it yourself. I really do not want to talk much about this issue. Guys what do think about what I am arguing about?
You are also drawing a comparison between the two coins. I don't think the comparison of BTC and ETH is necessary. Their blockchains and functions are different.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT WHEN EVALUATING A CRYPTO PROJECT on: January 18, 2019, 01:31:48 PM
Fellows, I would like to ask you to describe your evaluation process of a crypto project:

What do you look at?
In what order?
When looking at some X factor, when do you judge it in a positive or a negative manner?
What a project needs to have for you to invest on it?

Tks
Most times, I start by looking at the telegram group in order to assess the size of the project community, and try to read the different reviews about the project from others. Then I can check out the white paper and others.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT on: January 17, 2019, 04:46:22 PM
The time has pass when it was so easy to make profit in crypto space ,well gone are those days since the market is not in good shape for now

This is an advice for newbies complaining about low payouts either in airdrops or bounty

1) Airdrops are not profitable as before ,gone are the days that you can make 100$ upward from airdrops ,to make that kind of money from good projects now you have to
-workharder ,don't just do your tasks and fill up your airdrop form and move on ,a airdrop might worth 10$ but you will get more money if you refer people ,yes don't be lazy if you don't have friends now is the time to make more friends

-it's your right and duty to do research on every projects ,because the quality of a project determines alot ,don't waste your time on useless airdrops especially the ones on telegram

2)bounties are the best way to make huge profits back in the days but now its all about luck or how good the project is ,my advice is don't just sign up for one campaign e.g signature only and relax ,waiting for payouts, they will be way lower than you expected ,yes time has pass ,things are not the same anymore ,join multiple tasks and campaigns e.g Facebook ,twitter ,LinkedIn etc

-huge payouts now rely on how much work you put on a bounty, you are in control of how much you want to make from a bounty ,laziness won't get you better bucks anymore.

Let's work hard, FIGHTING! Wink
What I see generally now is that people's moral is now generally low in cryptocurrency. The low market condition is mainly responsible. Also, the several disappointments from airdrops and bounties have also made some hunters to quit.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What make with 5000 dollars on: January 16, 2019, 07:02:54 PM
Hay guys

What i make  with 5000 Dollar.

In what altcoin i can Invest.

Please help me Thanks

Ps  i Read  pm  Grin
Go and invest it in HireGo, a new coin that just hit the market and trading on Idex about a week now. There is a chance of it being listed on bigger centralized exchanges soon. The team look serious to me. I am also planning to buy some quantity of it with my little savings.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing on exchanges has no effects anymore on: January 13, 2019, 10:08:08 PM
Time has pass when news or listing pumps price of a coin,it isnt 2013 or even the same climate as 2017. Newer projects are building some serious patforms that take time. News  cant just make a coin pump anymore, neither do exchange listings. Look at coins like Tron etc. being added to a new excahnge everyday. doesnt do anything. Its about results. No point in launching news in crypto environment, Hopefully you guys will join good projects with better future results....2019 is the year
It just all owes to the fact that people are now extra careful with the news bubbles and so on. Not all really move people again as some investors now see it as a way ICOs pump their coins.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: January 13, 2019, 10:01:45 PM
That was the collapse of ETH, because most of the airdrop and bounty programs were through the ERC-20 platform. Do you think the same thing happened?
There is no truth about that. Like you have observed, the ETH price rebounded to even $153 again before we just started experiencing this general market drop again.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Constantinople, the only ethereum hardfork on: January 13, 2019, 09:59:35 PM
We have seen some people or groups, who claim they are hardforking ETH,.
The plan of the first, NOVA, whose intention was to scam others of their hard earned money, was foiled early enough, because it was using a fake.
ETCV on the other hand was not quickly detected, but its team was anonymous, which i feel is enough to suspect them of scam.
Right now, its telegram account has changed when i checked.
It's website is suspended and so on.
They are now asking people to buy their coin, which does not exist.

Therefore, the only genuine hardfork, is the constantinople.
I am usually confused when a coin to be forked from another is conducting an ICO or bounty campaign. I thought the hard fork implies just splitting an already existing coin into another? People should be wary of such ICO project no matter how attractive their bonuses may be.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in active projects on: January 13, 2019, 09:55:58 PM
I honestly think it will be mayble a poor idea for someone to invest in a coin or token with too little few trades without much involvement of the team in the project especially for long term hodlers. Such projects can easily crash within few months in an exchange and you will be left with untradeable tokens.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your trading plan? on: January 13, 2019, 09:52:42 PM
What are the strategies that you use for take more profit whether you are in short term trading or long term trading ?
The strategy is quite simple. You should be able to monitor the market movement closely with a reliable app like the coinmarketcap app. Then on the exchange, you should be able to specify trade limits bases on the market buy/sell history. Ensure you are not too greedy by setting too much high sell limits that may not be reached even in several months.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I've just put ALL my student savings into TURTLECOIN ($50K) on: January 13, 2019, 09:49:08 PM
Hello friends, I'm Johnny

In 6 months I'm graduating from high school with nice marks, excellent feedback from professors and all careers open for me. But you know what? I'm fucking out man. I'm not going to university. I've just invested my whole hard-earned student savings into Turtlecoin at 2 satoshis or roughly $ 0.00008 per turtle. My low-class parents hard worked for a good education for me and I've just spent the whole shit into something called Turtlecoin, ya know what I mean right?

The thing is that we've been discussing with my family during the last 3 fucking months about which fucking career to choose in order to make big fucking money when I'm old. Doctor, lawyer, broker, blah blah blah. All them promising careers but with a huge fucking initial cost and no real guarantee that's gonna provide me what I want to be: A FUCKING THUG LIFE MILLIONAIRE.

I mean which is the interesting part in being a millionaire after working 40 fucking years with a fucking narrow suit the whole time and obeying orders from superiors the WHOLE FUCKING LIFE?

There's no fucking point ya know what I mean--- So I decided to put those roughly $ 50K into the best promising crypto coin that I've found in these 3 months: TURTLE-FUCKING-COIN. No ICO, no premine, NO SHIT MAN! Such a nice community, nice fucking devs and nice fucking whales (hehe, I just found your plan  Wink).

I've been watching crypto for a year now and I've been deeply studying all the fucking cryptopatters outthere. Been reading the whole fucking dogecoin bitcointalk thread YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN?

It's SO FUCKiNG OVBIOUS that trutlecoin is gonna make a X100-X1000 from here in the next crypto bull run. THERES NO DOUBT. 0. When is it gonna come? 2 years? 3? 5? WHO THE FUCK CARES MAN, I'm just 17. in 5 years I'll just be 22 and with bigger pockets than my fucking penis, which is quite difficult honestly.

My parents obviously are so fucking angry right now. In fact, they're kicking my ass from home and from everything after I graduate from high school in 6 months. I understand em' and I accept it. I will start working on mcdonalds & other shit during these hodl years and I'm gonna do a lot of fucking shit till I get my reward. But ya know what? When I'm 22 I will buy a fucking mansion with my turtles, a fucking lambo, a fucking financial freedom, A FUCKING LIFE, while my classmates will end up with a fucking huge student debt and the fucking reality of our system punching their fucking faces. I'M OUT FUCK TAT

You can save this message, snapshot it. It's christmas day of the year 2018. Turtles are going to a cold wallet for the next 2-5 years. I'm going to start taking a fucking job in Mcdonalds.

And yes, remember that fucking thread and remember my name: I'M JOHNNY MCTURTLE, THE FUCKING LEGEND

I think you made this decision out of over ambitiousness. You should not gamble your university education with cryptocurrency. This cryptocurrency may easily fail you someday, but the university education and the degree you will obtain is going to serve you for a life time. Be careful with your decision.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the crypto still be in 2050? on: January 10, 2019, 05:46:55 AM
I still imagine, how is crypto in 2050? is the usecas clear? is there still a new ICO project that appears, or is it even crypto dead? if in the year 2050 the crypto is still there, then the age of the crypto has been more than 40 years, and this is not a long time, and if you see age, crypto should have been much more developed than now.
what do you think about crypto in 2050?
With 10years already down the line, I think we have achieved a little progress with cryptocurrency. One would have expected the big shopping malls are many stores to have included cryptocurrencies in their payment system by now. 2050 is still a long time to come, there has to be rapid development in the use of blockchain across the world before this time.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is the FINAL on: January 10, 2019, 05:42:54 AM

What is the point? They are becoming more and more worthless, even up to 0.0007$ or so?

The price of a coin being 0.0007$ is not really the point. If you have 1,000,000 pieces of such coin, then it will be of great value. What worries me most is that if you look through a cryptomarket app like coinlib, you will see over 6,000 cryptocurrencies in existence, yet only about 1% are useful with a distinct project. Where are we really heading with the blockchain technology?
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Bounty hunters on: January 10, 2019, 05:33:55 AM
I hope Bitcointalk will start caring about its people ,there should be new moderators that can fish out bad projects on here to avoid wasting time of bounty hunters ,and about KYC ive come to think of it as many bounty hunters don't like KYC I'm sure if Bitcointalk is the one asking for KYC so as to limit frauds and multiple accounts bounty hunters won't complain, we will follow the rules ,but first 'SAFE US FROM BAD SCAMMY PROJECTS' ,no matter how wise we investigate a project they end up been scam ,scammers are getting wiser as well.looook at desico for example Shocked Can anyone tell me if he/she knew Desico is a scam from day one? I guess not
I really think this is where the moderators need to step in. Anyone shouldn't just put up a bounty campaign without having a form of thorough scrutiny from the moderators and approval if the project is actually real. The Bounty Managers should be compelled to provide proof of the legitimacy of the project they are managing its bounty.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto A Way To become Rich / Millionaire ? on: January 08, 2019, 02:56:49 PM
Today Want to  Ask , did Satoshi Created bitcoin to solve poverty  issues or he created this bitcoin so solve financial transaction problems !!
Is crypto  a get rich quick scheme as people are putting their  mindset into  it  ?
When Satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin, his aim was to give people an alternative to carry out financial transactions or payments without a middleman. His aim was not to create millionaires.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: January 08, 2019, 11:41:09 AM
Bitcoin is not over, and will never be even in the next century. It is normal for anyone to make his own suggestion about the decentralized nature. Whether to be or not to be. But that won't change its global overwhelming acceptance.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it good to recruit other person to join Blockchain technology? on: January 08, 2019, 11:37:58 AM
Every cryptocurrency participants is no doubt making frantic effort to see that the message of cryptocurrency is preached to everyone including their neighbours and close associates. This is a very good thing.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you have been anticipating for- Ethereum hardfork on: January 07, 2019, 11:53:46 PM
The long awaited time is here.
Just this morning I received the mail from coinex on ethereum hardfork.
This got me excited.
It then means that exchanges will also support the hardfork, which is imminent, starting from the 14th of this month.

This will definitely make ETH to surge this month.

I am still skeptical as to how this Ethereum hard fork will affect the price of ETH itself and the entire market. ETH is a big player in the crypto market and has so many dependent projects.
