1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think the total market cap will be by the end of 2018 ??? on: August 03, 2017, 03:26:26 PM
 420 Billion.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bcash (Bitcoin Cash) Speculation Thread on: August 03, 2017, 03:23:39 PM
Bitcoin Cash interests me a lot. At first I thought it would be like a stock split and that some value would go from btc to bcc like what happened with ETH...  I put a ETH long even because I thought the ETH/BTC ratio would change as BTC gets revalued.

But then I realized this not like ETH at all.  This blockchain is totally different beast.  Different block times, algo, and miners bring in a whole new paradigm.

I would love to know what the biggest thing holding these prices up are, and why BTC pre split did not have more value (If BCC stays liquid in this price range)

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally legal in India on: August 02, 2017, 07:01:17 AM
Finally, its a big relief for indian bitcoiners who feared in the past that bitcoin might be announced illegal in india. But this was a suuden U-turn decision by the indian government. But tthey have formed a commitee which would take up around six months to come with recommendations to be implemented concerning crypto currencies regulation.India legalizing bitcoin would definitely help for bitcoin progress.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I use BCC with Exodus Wallet? on: August 02, 2017, 06:35:01 AM
How do I use BCC with Exodus Wallet? Exodus does not support it
Is there still a way to claim the new coins ?
Thank you for the help
Since Exodus does not support BCC,you could create a wallet like Trezor,Ledger or Jaxx and then move your bitcoins to that wallet so that you could claim BCC.Thats the best way i think so.In order to sell your BCC,most exchanges are not supporting BCC and Bittrex is supporting BCC but its not accepting now btc deposits. So you should have to use Bitflyer,Bithumb,BTTC for selling BCC.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: will I receive BCC from poloniex after Aug. 1? on: August 02, 2017, 06:18:07 AM
Most of the famous exchanges have already announced that they are not going to support BCC.But poloniex has said that they would just wait and then decide what to do.So,we could not exactly say that poloniex would give you free BCC for your altcoins, but there is still a chance for you to get free BCC.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: top three exchanges in India say they won't support Bitcoin Cash on: August 02, 2017, 06:08:00 AM
I am also from india and i have not shown any interest in getting free BCC coins.I have just stored my bitcoins in my electrum wallet and electrum has already announced that they won't support BCC.I am just waiting to see bitcoin price going high as we saw some ups and downs in its price over the last two weeks.Nothing has happened to bitcoin price as most fered and its today $2746.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: August 02, 2017, 05:52:15 AM
I am using Electrum wallet for the past two years. Its safe to download and use.A seed of thirteen words is generated during the time of registration. We have to keep it safely. We could use this seed to recover our wallet in case of pc damage. We are able to set transaction fee manually in this wallet.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash doing alright? on: August 02, 2017, 05:40:01 AM
Well it certainly has got the support. No. in the market cap already, and the value is great, especially if you think it is an altcoin.
So we can all agree that bitcoin cash is doing alright as an altcoin?

There are more new topics about Bitcoin Cash in the Bitcoin Discussion board rather than topics about bitcoin.
We can all agree that Bcash is an altcoin,so all the topics about BCH should be moved to the Altcoin related forum boards.
Anyway, bitcoin cash value will decrease very soon.People start complaining that there`s no place to sell their BCH. Grin
I think that BCC price would be just pumped high to divert bitcoin holders attention. In reality,it would lose its value soon and get disappear.Since most big exchanges have already said that they won't support BCC,i think that BCC holders should have to wait for their coin to be listed in any of the exhanges and by that time,it would have lost its value Ha Ha Ha.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you expecting after 1st-Aug? on: August 02, 2017, 05:35:30 AM
The most expected, and maybe most important day for BTC  is today. What are you expecting is going to happen post 1st Aug?
I hope that all the dust spread through out last two weeks would get settled and BCC would just disappear in next few dys.Already,BCC supporters are disappointed with most exchanges announcing tht they won't support BCC.Bitcoin is once again going to survive successfully and i'm just waiting to see bitcoin's price reaching very high targets like $3,500 and even more.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: August 01, 2017, 06:58:00 AM
I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
Ethereum is just a pumped altcoin and it does not have special features so that it could overcome bitcoin. But there are still some promising altcoins coming newly. So not today, but might be in future, bitcoin may be replaced by some other altcoin. But for that,it has to get the trust what bitcoin has got over these years among investors around the world and its not an easy task to achieve such a trust.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fastest way to Dump BCC tomorrow at 12:20pm UTC? Timing is important on: August 01, 2017, 06:50:41 AM
Im worried that by the time I log into my wallet, send BCC to an exchange, log into exchange etc. that BCC may already reach $0 value meaning I was too late to dump so might as well hold right? No point selling it for pennies.

So whats the fastest way to dump bcc, whats everybody's plans?

Also do we have to split BCC from BTC first in our wallets which means even more precious time consumed correct?
I think that there will be no need for you to take that much tensions and increase your blood pressure as i think that probably split will not happen and no BCC,only BTC.Even most BCC supporters are already worried that no big exchange has given support to BCC.Just sit back in your seat and watch the climax eating your popcorn.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: "Electrum Cash" is trying to trick Bitcoin users on: August 01, 2017, 06:40:35 AM
electrum's been stolen a few times. the litecoin version isn't endorsed by them either.
As it says in their statement:
We have never enforced our trademark against altcoin versions of
Electrum (such as Litecoin, etc), because we consider that users of
these altcoins are well aware of the distinction between Bitcoin and
their coin, and that they cannot be harmed by that confusion. However,
we do not agree with the use of the Electrum name in the context of a
Bitcoin fork, because it suggests that we endorse that fork, and that
we also endorse that wallet.
It's plain disrespectful for "Electrum Cash" to know about Electrum's objection and choose to still push the boundaries with "Electron Cash" instead of just admitting to being a new wallet.
BCC supporters know very well that majority of bitcoin investors would not support BCC and they would not transfer their BTC to BCC wallets for getting BCC.Already, most of the popular exchanges have announced that they would not support BCC and some have said that if bitcoin holders wish to have BCC,then they should withdraw their bitcoins and keep it in other wallets. So,BCC supportes are trying to mislead BTC holders by giving their BCC wallet name as Electrum cash wallet.Thats not fair.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Okcoin to release BCC mining pool on: August 01, 2017, 06:24:40 AM
There is nothing surprise to see such announcements since we already see bitcoin exchanges, mining pools mostly belonging to china supports these types of services which are against the interests of bitcoin community but which are beneficial to them.Okcoin exchange,Viabtc supporting BCC.Its quite natural to understand that most of miners are in china and they are not satisfied with segwit implementation.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are these people? on: August 01, 2017, 06:07:09 AM
No one would knowingly dare to take such risks.I think not all the bitcoin users are aware of the hard fork possibility and that they should not do transactions to avoid losses. But,there might be still a small percentage of people who are more confident that hard fork would not occur and so just continue trades, transactions thinking that all the discussions about hard fork were just FUD and so better to ignore it.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Information request about BTC/BCC after hardfork... on: August 01, 2017, 05:59:35 AM
Hello,

1st of all sorry for my English (I'm French,1st message here and thanks to all of you for contributing to it ) but I have some questions I did'nt find any answer regarding the hardfork tommorow :

1) Will BCCs be used for selling and buying products (so also used as a money) or will it just be a "technical issue" for BTC resolved by this split ? In fact will it help having more faster transactions and less fees for BTCs or will the transactions be faster and cheaper only by using BCCs ?? If it's that, why will BCC have any value ??

1) I understood that same amount of BCC compared to existing BTCs will be created so a little bit more than 16 millions : BUT will there be also people continuing like a "parallel mining" to reach 23 BCCs in 2140 like for BTC ?

Thanks for your first answers !

First,i think that hard fork will not occur. In case if it occurs and BCC were created,it would be just an altcoin and in no case,it would be a substitute for bitcoin. As we can see till now,we could not buy any products with any altcoins, same would be the case with bitcoin.Already, most of the popular exchanges have sid that they would not support BCC.So,BCCwould be useless and it would disappear in due course of time.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion: Bitcoin controlled by US government? on: July 31, 2017, 02:21:25 PM
All the governments including the US government have tried their best in the past to destroy bitcoin but they failed to do it.Even china and russia had tried their best to ban bitcoins and at last, they started regulating bitcoins. All the things are just FUD trying to destabilize bitcoin but bitcoin has reached now far high than the reach of bitcoin haters. It has revolutionized the world economy.Whatever is done, bitcoin is unstoppable.
