41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now... or on July 31st? on: July 25, 2017, 02:43:05 PM
After friday, there would be no need to spread FUD since every dust would have settled by that time. You could even buy bitcoins since its not too late but if you miss the chance before friday, then you would have to regret for your decision since you would have missed the train.Don't do too late to buy bitcoins.Better buy it now itself.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: July 25, 2017, 12:51:19 AM
Until now,USD is the strongest currency in the world since it has been used as global reserve currency over the past seventy years. It gained its importance from the time when OPEC,oil manufacturing countries agreed to sell crude oil only for dollars. But bitcoin has just crossed its initial eight years.More over,it has not been legalized yet in majority of countries. We could not buy all the products with bitcoins in all parts of the world. So,it would take more time for bitcoin to replace USD and become the strongest currency.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Signature campaign as my job? on: July 25, 2017, 12:41:47 AM
Don't rely completely on signature campaigns completely. They are just a reward for actively participating in discussions.Just complete your education and try to find a good job relate to your interests. But earning in signature campaigns on your free time is not wrong since it would be helpful for you to meet your small expenses. So signaure campaigns are in no way substitute for a job.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: July 23, 2017, 03:43:25 PM

What do you like best about bitcoin?
Decentralization, transparency or easier to move?
Or just it makes you look cool? Wink
I think decentralization is the best feature of bitcoin. It is due to this feature bitcoin has survived till now and has not gone in control of any governments or banks.Otherwise, bitccoin's security would have been compromised by this time.It is due to this decentralized nature people believe that their bitcoins would not get devalued just as it was done in high value currencies in india.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we do Bitcoin transactions at this moment? on: July 23, 2017, 03:35:39 PM
I have a small amount on Poloniex that I wanted to withdraw before 1st of August so that it is under my control in case of any chain split and also so that I can include it in the next Byteball airdrop.
Now I'm wondering if it's safer to leave it on the exchange?
It would be better if you withdraw your bitcoins from the exchange and store it in your desk top wallet. Its because if a hard fork happens and bitcoin splits into two chains, almost all exchanges would suspend the deposits and withdrawals for atleast 24 to 48 hours. Also, even if you keep your bitcoins in your wallet, don't do any transactions during august 1.If you follow these steps, then your bitcoins would be safe.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a relation between Bitcoinprice and Gold price? on: July 23, 2017, 03:29:20 PM
There is no direct relationship between bitcoin price and gold price.Gold is bought by people for centuries all over the world.Bitcoin investment has started just eight years ago.Unlike bitcoins, gold is also bought for ornamental use. So,there is always an increasing demand for gold which is not affected by any other factors. So gold price has nothing to do with increase or decrease in bitcoin price.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: July 23, 2017, 03:14:45 PM
I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
Bitcoin is the pioneer in crypto currency. Many altcoins came with announcements that they would provide more features which are  not found in bitcoin. But they lost their importance day by day.For example,we could say monero, zcash. But nothing was able to compete with bitcoin. On the other hand, bitcoin successfully overcome many obstacles created by governments and bankers.Still it survives. There is no such threat found now due to which bitcoin could loose its importance.Only FUD news is spread against bitcoin. But in reality, there is no such thing.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not dead yet but should be. on: July 23, 2017, 01:05:50 PM
We have already seen obituary notice of bitcoin many times before also through out the net.Its all FUD just trying to pump some alts by showing bitcoin as worthless.Instead of believing such articles,i would like to decide based on my personal experiences in journey with bitcoin.I have come to the bitcoin network two years before and i know its potential very well.Bitcoin deserves more price than what it is today.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "I cannot afford 1 BTC"-Problem on: July 22, 2017, 02:15:29 PM
Nothing extra could be done in this matter except creating awareness among the people that bitcoin is further divisible into 8 units called satoshis. So no need to get worried about the high price of bitcoin.Just they could even buy 0.00000001 btc which is one satoshi.Even i faced the same problem with my friends when i introduced them bitcoins. Then i explained them that they could even buy 0.1 btc or 0.01 btc and then they got convinced.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: July 22, 2017, 02:09:15 PM
What's preventing Bitcoins from being accepted as mainstream payment forms? I'm working on a new blockchain and would like to learn what drawbacks of Bitcoin urgently need to be improved Wink
Until two weeks before, high transaction fee and slow transactions in case of low transaction fee was the biggest problem which bitcoin network was facing. But now,it has been almost solved. But still, another issue, the high volatile nature of bitcoin price continues. It has been the main reason due to which most countries have not yet legalized bitcoins and more companies don't accept bitcoin as payment.Since bitcoin is a decentralized currency, the volatile nature would continue to exist since there is no central authority to control the bitcoin price.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: July 22, 2017, 02:02:30 PM
What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!
I am saving my bitcoins in my electrum wallet in my pc.Till now,i have found no safety issues in using it.A seed is generated while we register and open a new account. It could be used for recovering our account in the future in case of pc damage or if we forget the password. We could set the transaction fee manually.

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto currency will be more expensive than bitcoin? on: July 17, 2017, 03:13:35 PM
I'm waiting for interesting discussions from you

It's possible that none will ever be more valuable but there are a few that are starting to be worth more than $200. Both Etherium and Zcash have been above $200. Dash has either been above $200 or close to it. Those three right now appear to have the best chance to overtake bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the pioneer in crypto currencies. Its hard for any coin to be more expensive than bitcoin.Since bitcoin is pseudo anonymous, altcoins which provide full anonymity might get more support from investors. Now,some new coins are introduced which provide completely full anonymity. They might become expensive in the long run.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will all coins continue to go down until 1st August? on: July 17, 2017, 02:59:58 PM
I've heard of something happening on August 1st, I still don't know what it is. It seems to be dumping all coins.
Is it safe to say they'll continue to drop till the end of the month and then rebound in August?
What is happening on August 1st?
Most of bitcoin investors eagerly awaited for segwit activation so that block size would be increased and transaction fee would get reduced. But no one expected that hard fork might happen and bitcoin would split into two chains.Even some big whales are trying to make investors panic by spreading this news so that they would sell their bitcoins at cheaper price. As they expected, newbies sold their bitcoins and even altcoin holders also started to sell their coins since most altcoins prices are valued based on bitcoin. But i think that all confusions would settle down after august 1 and then bitcoin prices would skyrocket and altcoins would follow it in prices.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZEN] ZENCASH: Permanent, Distributed, and Fully Anonymous cryptocurrency on: July 17, 2017, 11:24:09 AM
The market cap of Zencash is around 2,628 BTC and today its volume is 44.37 BTC.Even though, all altcoins suffer in price due to instability in bitcoin market, still zencash is performing well and its price would increase more in the long run.
