There are many messenger apps in the app store. Even paying users is not only enough. Please expand on your marketing strategy for once the app is live.

Actually i tested this out on a friend of mine, i showed her Glyph and Gems, she choose for Gems because she liked it more and could relate it more to Whatsapp after i told her the 2 are similar. Apart from that it's hard to get it's business model done with just Bitcoin. Ultimately Bitcoin is making decentralised banking, Openbazaar is making decentralised online market place, Storj is making cloud storage decentralised, Gems is making social messaging decentralised. It will succeed with community support and especially marketing, not just inside the crypto community but outside of it aswell. That's some very big claims for a basic app. They said the same stuff on NXTTY thread until reality set in. What's great about this kind of coin is we can see how many downloads it gets so we can judge black or white if this app is a success. And as making the next big thing in messegong is almost impossible in such a saturated market I look forward to saying I told you so. This is how ICO's work these days. People buy up early at the cheaper price then when it comes to go on an exchange they can afford to dump at the later prices and still make a good 40%. Guaranteed profit, later buyers even think they are getting a good deal cause it's the same price as the later ICO prices. everyones happy especially the developers. |

gems is the only high quality app in it's league i would recommend where it's devs actually have legit connections in the industry, the rest is untrustable because the money they raise goes in their own pocket and isn't stored in a convincing multi sig with known and reputable owners where the devs get paid on a milestone basis. I wouldn't touch those with a ten feet pole You really need to stop posting stuff that gives me a legitimate reason to post and correct your information. And i have confidence in Gems
Gems team is one of the very few which i have seen in the crypto scene who can succeed, the crowdsale is going very smooth, the team is visible and active in the crypto scene, they are very organised and professional. For the first time i can say that i have high expectation. Why doesn't this great team that say they want to raise the accountability and quality of IPO's work on the principle that they should only get paid if the app is a success? This would prove if they couldn't give a shit about investors or not. Gems looks good on paper but so did NXTTY and that seems to of failed miserably. I expect hype followed by crash followed by sober realistic reevaluation. If this can be a niche product it's got a decent chance. The new big thing globally in social networks....not a hope in hell.
Expecting success one month after launch is naive and immature. We're also in the first bear market in crypto currencies by the way, things are going to be pretty slow on all crypto fronts for the next 10-11 months. There is not much capital and adoption moving to cryptos until then, it will be a complete washout of the weak and impatient hands that crowded this market at the end of last year. +1440 Actually the experience of many apps that attained a large global user base did so very rapidly even as soon as the app was released. I think SendChat is by far a better candidate to bring mobile messaging and cryptocurrency together than Gems is. I will definitely keep an eye on this promising project.  Sendchat seems like Angry Birds while Gems is more Flappy bird. |

I dont know why fulcare keeps repeating himself, nxtty is absoluttely horrible, fulcare is such a noob in understanding business models. No app exists that is innovative like gems I just checked nxtty and didn't expect it to be this bad, nxtty coins are just shares you buy from a 'virtual nxt company' and hold where you get some kind of interest. it's just a pos coin + a poor messaging app with a bubbel game in it making it look cheap, you cant make transactions from the app either. As long as you keep repeating that you expect FB and Whatstheapp like numbers I'll keep repeating you won't so people aren't tricked into thinking they just bought 10% of FB.
