yobit says they will use status upgrade btc to buy yovi orders. what happens to those coins are they destroyed if so then this makes it even better as cutting the supply reduces the amount of orders coming back onto market. more people will hold for higher. 0.01 is where things will take long.

NEVER I think people are buying waiting for when the market will be normal again and they can dump I did some calculations, i had 1,000,000 YOVI coins but i have sold them. Based on the current rules it would take me at least 100 years to sell all my coins  YOVI coin is a good coin for small investors, investors that only own 0.02, max 0.20 BTC in YOVI coin, as then you will be able to sell your coins, but people that has something like 100,000 YOVI coins will have to wait years to sell all their coins. So point is: Good improvement by Yobit to change it back to ROM for YOVI but only small investors will profit, i mean really small investors. From the moment you have to sell 2 BTC in YOVI coins it will already take 10 months.... But then again, how many YOVI investors have less then 0.50 BTC, 90%? so it is good for 90% of the people , but the change in YOVI won't put big investors in the game as they cannot wait 100 years to get sell their coins. So in fact i'm happy that i sold all my coins, not planning to life 100 years yes but its good to throw your money at it, the amount that you dont need. whether you it take 50 or 100 years youl be getting profit any way. who says no to profit. 1st thing is 1st get what you put in back. the rest can take its time. would you say no if someone offered you 1000 usd a month for next 100 years. point is once you have your initial investment youl be getting payments like forever. |

the words are the easiest solution if you want, i can plug them in my wallet and see if your coins are there and send them to your new address again. (for free of course, don't want to profit from someone else's misery) edit: do you have the seed from your new wallet on paper now?  i think i need to pay to recover the file, it wont let me preview it so i can give it a try to recover. i really i hope i get it. those coins gonna be worth alot one day. hope it doesnt turn out to be like that guy who lost his hard drive in bin and now those btc are worth 1.2million dollars |

As I read through your materials, can you advise me on the privacy level of VanillaCoin in layman's terms?
For example, with bitcoin everyone can see every transaction and link them to pseduoanonymous addresses.
With cryptonote based coins, you can see transactions, but there is a level of plausible deniability with who they belong to controlled via the mixin.
With vanilla coin.....?
I'll correct you a bit, on cryptonote you can see transactions but you can't link them to any wallets. DASH does mixing, but with the help of masternodes which are nodes you can only run if you have enough DASH and they also pay you for running them. A big % of masternodes are in the same hands meaning its a rather centralized approach. Vanillacoin isn't an anon crypto, it's only privacy focused. Here your ISP can not see that you are running a crypto node, they can not link transactions to you. DarkPP will bring more privacy focused features, but there will be no info on it until Q3, check to OP for the available information on it. Edit.: made the answer a bit clearer darkpp holds most of the value in my opinion. |

Don't run anything that writes to the disk! sure if i get my coins back i will send some coins your way for the help ease us recovery did show files but they required the membership to recover plus i couldnt find the wallet.dat file. there was a wallet.dat file when i searched wallet.dat but the type was a shortcut il wait for your pm tomorrow |

do you have the seed words written on paper? If that's the case, there is no isue in recovering if not, where are they stored? don't know if you need recovery software. What happened to your laptop? if you take out the HD, there exists cables to attach it to another PC so your HD looks like a USB device and you can browse all your files. i had to reinstall windows 7 normally the files on the previous version are copied when windows 7 is installed but the installation was unsuccessful. when i restarted the pc the system would not load. bought new drive musing sata cable to read from hard drive. the files were deleted in preparation for the new installation that is why i cannot browse the files normally i recovered files using easeus recovery software but it said scan complete at 80% the mnemonic keys were also stored in the pc as document,. i know silly but was lazy. want to try a new software which is better as if i have to pay rather pay once and reading the HD takes more than day too. |

a few weeks back i did a reinstall of my windows 7 which was unsuccessful and this lead to my files being deleted on it where my aeon coins. ive used ease us to view the files on my hard drive but i do not know which is the wallet file. it gives me cpp and h files amongst others.
it says i need to buy the license to recover it. i dont mind paying as long as the wallet.dat file is recovered and my coins moved from the address
when i type in search wallet.dat two files show up but the type is shortcut and when i type aeon the zp files show up not the folder
Your wallet is in the same directory as aeond.exe and simplewallet.exe, and it is named wallet.keys, or something like that, with the extension .keys. Do you remember the above? It was in a pm between us 3 months ago aeond.exe shows up but its a compressed zip file. |
