VANILLA will get dumped to minimum 5000. Because price is by far too high. Imagine: everyday roughly 0.15% of the coin supply increases. Do the maths: 100 days are 15% inflation, more than 50% inflation in a year. Get real! VNL is overpriced enormous.

you talk as if zerotime is the only thing been developed here. again if zerotime is so useless why bitcoin looking to implement it.

you say your maths is correct but you dont price in demand. actually wont waste my time with you because we know you want cheap coins. let you in on a secret its already cheap

Since buy support is completely gone, I think there is something fishy with the coin. Vanilla is not a trustable project because dev team is by far too small. Mainstream adoption never will be happen due to the dark app.
Just some whales keep the price above 10000 to dump their worthless bags on new investors. Sad but true. The coin will get dumped further and further until game is over and played. Nobody needs zero time.

whats fishy is your a newbie

you say nobody needs zerotime then why is bitcoin thinking of implementing it.

KO make a fresh newbie account now your fud was not strong

i have a funny feeling we will get christmas present

need to catch some on this manipulated dump, fill my orders be great to see 10k

If btc break 600$, you'll see even 9k

Or it might go down to 400 and dumpers will be rebuying @13-14k.
Whichever way BTC goes VNL will remain the same cost in USD which makes speculation irrelevant. The built-in Economic Algorithms make sure we will have 6-12 more months before VNL reaches a stable ATH with low inflation at which point you have a valid reason for screaming "moon". Until then you have nothing but time... Cool

Thank you for your support.

yep agree its gonna be a bumpy ride but by later next year the price will be stable. top 5 is where is see it. its only up from here but up n down its how it will go

inovation  for vnl is only zero time or something else?

Current features that are observable:

-Only coin other than Bitcoin that only requires 1 confirmation on Poloniex.  You can test this by going here: https://poloniex.com/public?command=returnCurrencies and searching for minconf":1,"

-Only coin that has staking mobile wallets that allow you to move your wallet.dat to your PC from your Android and iOS wallets

-Only coin with near-instant 0-confirmation transactions that doesn't use master nodes.  You can receive node incentives if you have 10,000 in collateral, but collateral is not necessary to be a super peer.  You just need an open VNL port, a certain amount of uptime, and possibly a certain amount of bandwidth.

-Only coin that has encrypted connections and gives you a random port if you have no config.dat.  All your ISP will see is normal SSL traffic while monitoring your ports, which is unlike what happens with all other coins.  If you're using Bitcoin and your ISP monitors your ports, it will know you're using port 8333, which means it knows you're using Bitcoin.

-Only coin that automatically burns all tx fees, and they're not sent to a burn address either

More differences:

The code is entirely different.  John spent six months researching and a year writing the code just for the barebones part of the coin before the launch on December 23, 2014.

As LovSan said, VNL requires 1 confirmation on Poloniex and Dash requires 12.  You can check that here: https://poloniex.com/public?command=returnCurrencies
If you search for minconf":1," you'll see BTC and VNL are the only coins that require 1 confirmation on Poloniex.

Vanillacoin has a global transaction pool that is far more synchronized than Bitcoin's and Dash's.  This makes double spending far more difficult and basically impossible after 1 confirmation even without Zerotime.  Read this post by John: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=977245.msg11579434#msg11579434

Vanillacoin has staking mobile wallets that allow you to move your wallet.dat to your PC from your Android and iOS clients.  Dash does not.

Vanillacoin has encrypted connections and gives you a random port if you have no config.dat.  All your ISP will see is normal SSL traffic while monitoring your ports, which is unlike what happens with all other coins.  If you're using Dash and your ISP monitors your ports, it will know you're using port 29081, which means it will know you're using Dash.

With Vanillacoin, any client with an open TCP port, a certain amount of uptime, and maybe a certain amount of bandwidth, can be a super peer.  In order to receive node incentives you have to have 10000 VNL sent to the default address of the wallet in 1 transaction.  Masternodes work somewhat differently and you need to have 1000 DASH to be a masternode.

Vanillacoin connects clients over both TCP and UDP transport layers.  I believe Dash clients are only connected via TCP.

only a matter of time before we never see these prices again. only up

Why the volume on an exchange is going low? VNL should be on the top currency to trade better than any other crap coins in an exchange..

VNL used Bitcoin code without the required proper attribution.  That's considered stealing, even by ardent FOSS greybeards like Gmax.

Rather than apologize for his actions, John Conman tried to deflect by using tu quoque, accusing Bitcoin of stealing SSL or some such bullshit.  And he spammed this forum with duplicate posts.

VNL bragged about their 'zero-conf required on Poloniex' but then it broke and turned into a fiasco.

Even *if* VNL had decent crypto, Monero's upcoming RingCT makes it look old and obsolete.

That's why the volume is low.  Anybody who wanted this crapcoin already filled their bags and (like you) is probably nervously looking around for a greater fool to dump them on.

you keep going on on and on about copyrights for btc, instead of posting here why hasn't someone put up a case against it then. not one of the btc developers ave filed a legal case, i wonder why? maybe because they ain't got one. you might think its copyrighted but in law your opinion is not fact, so if its a big deal then put up a legal case or shutup

the fact that gmax took out time to discuss the an altcoin out of the 100s out there says something. you lot act like this is the 1st time in the history of bitcoin copright has been broken. the only reason why its being made a big deal of is because vnl is a threat to the top crypto currencies

now i have a small tiny project would anyone care if i broke copyright law on bitcoin now if google did then that would have everyone pissed why?
im not fully convinced anyway john has.

"VNL bragged about their 'zero-conf required on Poloniex' but then it broke and turned into a fiasco."

nothing was wrong with VNL, poloniex said clearly it was a issue from their side so everything you said is BS.

~8750 is VNL floor (per all time chart). BTC most likely dump ~307. Alternatives will rally. Cool

Thank you for your support.

scam dev just talks about price.

john-conner's project, Vanillacoin (VNL), includes a significant amount of reformatted and, at best, lightly-edited Bitcoin code which has illegally and unethically had its attribution and copyright notices removed. In addition, he describes Vanillacoin as written "from scratch in its entirety", a false, misleading, and fraudulent claim that is being used to promote his coin. Given that this shows dishonesty, low credibility, and willingness to engage in unethical conduct, extreme caution is advised.

il trust poloniex decision to list them due to its innovative features over your judgement

and as far as price he aint done nothing to hype. no pre release hype. he says n delivers

Slow and steady wins the race. I don't even hold any other coins anymore, why diversify among mindless clones when you can hold Vanillacoin.

Don't put all of your eggs in one basket.

If for any reason VNL should go belly up you don't want your entire holding to go in one fell swoop, any smart investor knows to diversify. VNL might not inherently fail but what if yet another professional developer comes along and creates an "even better" coin which everyone moves to?

Wise words and thank you. In this case I risk it, but because I feel that VNL makes other investments seem redundant. I have only invested what I can afford to lose, so ill take my chances. I don't know if it's smart, time will tell, but if there is one coin that can make it besides BTC itself its VNL. But again, thanks for your concern. I appreciate it.

il agree with the both of you here, although its not smart to place egss in one basket its feels a bit different, am heavy on vnl more than others but still not all in one place
