speed does not really matter as much as privacy and security. people would rather prefer to pay securely and privately than quickly. im waiting for darkpp until then il be selling to buy back on the dump let see how high it goes before it happens

Privacy: Merchants all around the world couldn't give a less fuck around privacy except the darknet, sexshops and cam sites.
Security: I don't really get your point here, John has probably way more P2P programming experience than what Satoshi had, Satoshi was a genious don't get me wrong here, but Bitcoin as a communication network/protocol is outdated.
Bitcoin was adopted without being privacy focused and if you frequently read r/bitcoin you will see that the peoples biggest problems are block sizes and speed, and bitcoin is currently the MOST adopted cryptocurrency.
Also according to your logic DASH would be the one and only coin that will get adopted, but I would like to see the world where a cryptocurrency with masternodes (and with that first 24h emission rate) will lead real world adoption.
