241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Sold $1k worth of Bitcoins to... a Black Guy (gasp) on: August 09, 2014, 01:52:37 AM

I find it humorous so many people are taking this post seriously when it most likely is troll bait or comedy gold created by someone who isn't racist at all.

On a side note, most people are indeed subconsciously racist as culture, media, and society has created these biases within us. First step is to recognize this, than take steps to combat these cognitive biases.

Here is an amazing series of tests that will reveal your inner prejudices-

interesting test what did you score?

Actually no i never claimed to be a Nazi or a Nazi supporter.
i explained in the link you posted i compared my self to their propaganda minister.
in history..
some guy started the Nazi party then other guys joined in like Hitler.. then Goebbels and then Gühring later on..
AND Goebbels was a massive genius and actually invented some stuff like using propaganda in war (at least he pioneered a LOT of methods with great success)
he used it to masterful levels.. VERY effectively and is historically considered a military genius power house behind Hitler.
If you check your history Goebbels was known for his "Rants" and his aggressive tone and fierce debate abilities.
when he stood on the table in a beer house in those early days when the NAZI party was just forming he controlled the room like a conductor.
Just as i usually do with all of you reading  Cool

Who is the one leading the Poll here ?
Your reading this aren't you ? LOL

i love the knee-jerk response people get with anything NAZI related LOL
it shows me politically correct, hyper-sensitive, uneducated people that don't know their history.
seriously you guys should go to school..
you all realize the entire Country of Germany and even most of the critics were swayed by Nazi party in time right ?
the country was bouncing in out of depression and when it tanked and Hitlers political party raised back up the economy
the whole country backed him !
The NAZI political party was formed long before Hitler came along and was a thing for a decade before Hitler was in power !
So if your gonna *try and throw that in my face it shows me crystal clear you have no clue about history and need to got to school LOL

Crypto-SS
and by the way not only did i try and explain that right after but i also added even further..
Quote
I need volunteers to mentor for the Crypto-Youth Movement
So i am still seeking volunteers for the Crypto-SS Wink

and notice how cryptopaths has done a vanishing act ?
hmmm i don't suppose he couldn't get on the internet or something ? hmmm ? LOL

Not going on bitcointalk for a while is a vanishing act? Stop being such an idiot man.

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

As suggested by some of you

Prometheus, Koolio, darkota, pikuchato, IconicExpert and digital industry have been added to the list. Feel free to change your vote to a new person if you deem they are more retarded.

If I have left anyone out that you would like to vote for being the biggest retard/idiot here then leave a comment and I will add them. I have allowed you to change your vote so if I add a name and you think that person is a bigger retard you can change your vote to them.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Retail adoption hurts bitcoin price it doesn't help it and here's why on: August 07, 2014, 05:36:01 PM
Will the stores always sell the bitcoin they receive right away?

How do customers get bitcoin they use to give to the store?

Most of the big companies who accept BTC will immediately convert to fiat so there is no risk (or upside).

I would say most of the companies accepting BTC do so as a gimmick and have no intent to hold on to it.

overstock do a $1mill a month in bitcoin.. and guess what, they only value the bitcoin in dollar. but never actually convert it to dollar. they are hoarding.

secondly bitpay do not throw bitcoins onto exchanges to sell for dollar. they just use the dollar value of exchanges for establishing prices. but the whole btc-fiat. is done privately through private investment/capitol funds.

its only coinbase that are swapping the coin on an exchange that is being measured by the community. so relax about companies dealing with bitpay. but your half right in regards to companies using coinbase.... well maybe a 3rd right. as even in coinbases case not all merchants sell 100% back to fiat.

I never said all merchants sell back to fiat.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Retail adoption hurts bitcoin price it doesn't help it and here's why on: August 07, 2014, 04:43:14 PM
When a big company or even a little shop starts to accept bitcoin people start to get excited and think this adoption will result in the bitcoin price shooting up. Well I'm here to tell you the exact opposite is what actually happens. If a store or big company accepts bitcoin that's all fine and great but they're not holding on to it they're immediately dumping it in most cases and this will just result in the price getting lower. Places that keep the Bitcoin they get are keeping the price higher but they are a minority most just instantly dump upon receival of the bitcoin. We don't need to just get stores to accept bitcoin we need to show them the true value of it and why they should even themselves use it as a currency and not just dump it as some worthless commodity which some believe it to be. If we do this we will see a real increase in price.

255  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good News but Price drops ? on: July 30, 2014, 10:06:45 PM
Hello everybody,

In last week's there were many good News about Bitcoin, normally the Price would go to the Moon #Dell. But it goes every day down and down, also the Price is not anymore Stable, the Price goes 1 Step Up to fall hours later 2 steps down

What you have to understand is bitcoin is a clusterfuck not really in a bad way though. The price fluctuates up and down but it doesn't neccesarily correlate with good/bad news.

Let's do a quick calculation how many Frappucinos you can buy with that kind of money... He could have 3 Frappucinos per day and that for a whole 91 years!

That was a pretty random calculation.

I ran the calculation and those numbers are actually wrong. For purpose of this calculation let's say Mark is getting the biggest size Venti and the most expensive Frap is about $5 for a venti so let's use that price. 3x5=15x365=$5475 in one year.

Now your calculation that $750k could only buy 91 years of frappucinos at 3 a day so lets run that number. $5475x91= $498225

You still have roughly $250k left over even if you buy the most expensive frappucino for 91 years.

$750,000/$5475= 136.986 years of frappucinos
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Super Computing Network of Bitcoin and how to utilize it - Internet 2.0 on: July 24, 2014, 07:17:37 AM
If the computing Network of Bitcoin was directed at something tangible and naturally occurring it could in turn increase the price and value of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the biggest computing Network in the world if we put that to use similar to what Namecoin is doing we could revolutionize this space again and in turn sky rocket the price of Bitcoin. Think about it domain names are distributed very centrally for what is supposed to be a decentralized internet, if Bitcoin used it's computing power to do something like decentralizing the internet theres no question that value would sky rocket because now we actually have some inherent value. Bitcoin was innovative 5 years ago when it was created it revolutionized money it was money 2.0 Now 5 years later Bitcoin can revolutionze the internet and become the internet 2.0.

I am already working on something like this and I really feel this is what Bitcoin needs to see that explosive growth and excel again this is what will take us to the masses. If there are any other developers interested in this and wanting to see this happen please feel free to join in seeing as this is a group effort. Satoshi had a vision once and look how far that has gotten all of us, now it's our turn to do something and further the protocol. How do you all feel about this?

This can be achieved while still securing the Bitcoin Network.

*I am not talking about just a domain name decentralization I am talking about an internet 2.0 Protocol.

Can someone help a noob out, why all the hate for the new alternate currencies?

~BCX~

Haven't seen you in the alts section in a while hows Aura coin doing? Grin  I'm guessing Spoetnik and his boys hate for alts are fueled by their failure to launch shit coins and capitalize on the alt market so now they've basically gone the route of going full retard.

Yeah I have been out of the US for the past few months and busy as hell. I've had a few people PM about looking at another shitcoin called Monero so I did. It took me me less than two hours to find a really big hole. When are devs going to learn that rapid retarget is an open invitation to an exploit? I'm going to drop a herd or two it till I figure what I am going to do.

It all really depends on what Cryptsy does with it.

~BCX~

Monero has seen backing from some "trusted" (high green) people on the forums so I'm curious to see were this gos. Do you plan on forking Monero like you did with Aur?
