261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Karpeles Auctions off Bitcoins.com on: July 24, 2014, 06:42:35 AM
If he took the proceeds from the auction, put it in bitcoin and hodl'd for a year, then he could pay everyone back maybe

Bitcoin's price would need to grow 1,000 times in a year. And even if it were possible, it would only be in fiat terms. Someone who lost 1 BTC would only be awarded $600, not the $600,000 that they actually deserve.
Good point.  Does anyone know if Mt Gox have to reimburse creditors in terms of Bitcoin or fiat?
Does it matter? If the creditors could get back 10% of that they lost, they would be happy. No matter they pay you BTC or fiat!

I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't be happy with %10, seeing as how it's almost certain that Mark fat fuck is sitting on %100 of the bitcoins.

Can someone help a noob out, why all the hate for the new alternate currencies?

~BCX~

Haven't seen you in the alts section in a while hows Aura coin doing? Grin  I'm guessing Spoetnik and his boys hate for alts are fueled by their failure to launch shit coins and capitalize on the alt market so now they've basically gone the route of going full retard.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Etherum and Emunie scamcoins? on: July 24, 2014, 04:37:28 AM
Etherum IPO is now live what are your thoughts?
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Karpeles Auctions off Bitcoins.com on: July 24, 2014, 04:34:01 AM
Looks like the auction has been halted due to court actions.   750k reserve price is pretty lofty..

That sucks. The creditors would've probably gotten much more money from this auction than whatever will happen now. (Maybe it'll be given to CoinLab for next to nothing? CoinLab seems worse than even MtGox...)

Mark should think about selling it on an auction site outside of the US. (Maybe this isn't legally possible, though.)

If the creditors were to be given the money from this it would almost be an insult. 750k of about 600m is what like a 0.15%? so if you lost 100btc you would get 0.15 btc back..... It's something yes but I feel in some ways this is Mark just trolling people.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NAbla Coin = Mad crazy and young profits yo ! get yur IPO's son ! on: July 24, 2014, 02:43:33 AM
T-Shirts coming soon Wink LOL

and hey it's a bad sign when even a coin cloner himself makes this topic don't ya thing guys ? hahaha
that should tell us it's gotten pretty bad i think Sad

people making a sincere effort in crypto need a fair shake and not to be overshadowed by scammers and their (but i made a Bitcoin excuse spouting) supporters !

tired of scammy douche bags telling me to mind my own business so they can make money of some PedoBear Coin..
they are all like, well i made 1 or 2 BTC off it.. and i should mind my own business etc..
and i don't know about the rest of you but when the world or my friends and family look at all this crap
i don't want them to think i am a scam coin supporter.

Take your IPO's and your clones and your dumb ass gimmicks and fuck off out of our global crypto scene scammers !

266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to make a Google? Bitcoin Start up are the internet 2.0 on: July 24, 2014, 02:22:00 AM
so people, get your thinking caps on.

things needed
1) developers that know best practices for crawling the web to make the search database easily fill up with keywords to ensure people find what they are looking for.
2) servers and storage space to cope with the load/requests and also storage of video files (youtube) type of crypto subsiduary
3) advertising service (generating the revenue)
4) social forum (google plus)
5) a simple name that people will easily type in to access and remember and prefer to use
i think the numbering is 1 very important to 5 least important, so lets not spend pages of posts just talking about naming it, and concentrate on the important stuff first.

now discuss

I wasn't just saying we should literally make a crypto version of google. I was just using google as an example because it's a start up that has seen huge success. But if a crypto version of google is the start up everyone thinks is the best I'm all for it.

Honestly if he does pay us back then I would be impressed and my perspective of him would change.

If he pays everyone back it will be because of legal pressure not because he freely chose to do so. So even if everyone does somehow get payed back he's still a fat fuck thieving scumbag.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to make a Google? Bitcoin Start up are the internet 2.0 on: July 23, 2014, 05:48:27 PM
For every million startups, there is only 1 that can become as big as Google. Do you have a million dollar idea? I don't...  Cheesy

Golden words. Plus, just an idea does not win the world. It takes the hardship to materialize it to reality...

I already have things I'm working on, I'm being purposefully vague to inspire other ideas.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Who wants to make a Google? Bitcoin Start up are the internet 2.0 on: July 23, 2014, 07:59:40 AM
I've been inspired by the stories of start ups of the internet bubble and I got to thinking.

I truly believe the Crypto bubble if you can even call it that can be just as big or even bigger.

We've all heard of the stories of early internet start ups making it big and one of those start ups is one of the biggest companies today, yes that's right Google itself.

So what's stopping us from making our own Google? I'm being serious here, I'm talking to all the innovative entrepeneurs on this forum that have dreams of really doing something in this space. Who here's up for Making the Google of Crypto? We can make the next big start up and all we have to do is put our minds together. The heights we can reach are limitless if we really get things going. If you're interested in getting in on this start up and feel you can really contribute reply here or shoot me a private message.

Edit: Note* I wasn't just saying we should literally make the crypto version of google but if that's what you thinks best then I'm all for it.

I love this thread, so much entertainment

The most entertaining part is that this thread is created by the king of the shitcoins Grin

lol yes the only thing funnier is these idiots think they have any credibility.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How big do you think the Crypto bubble will get? Compared to internet bubble? on: July 22, 2014, 05:37:39 PM
We are a part of the Crypto bubble the internet bubble 2.0

Crypto is following the same trajectory of the internet. The internet was created and then a couple years later start ups started to pop up.

Bitcoin was created then a couple years later start ups are starting to pop up.

How big do you think this bubble will get?
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Going to the MT Gox Creditor Meeting and What Will You Do If You See Mark on: July 22, 2014, 03:09:18 PM
I hear he will be there

I guess there are quite a few people who will want to throw an extra-cold Frappucino in his face  Undecided

I am not promoting violence, but a HOT coffee would send an even stronger message.  Shocked
Throwing anything at his face is assault and could get you arrested. If you were to throw hot coffee in his face he would likely get seriously injured and you would likely end up in jail for a long time.

Ever thought of people who just don't care anymore, though?  Wink
I bet there are people who lost their live's savings on Mt. Gox and thus just seek revenge and don't care what happens to them. Mark's living a dangerous live right now!

Yeah, I honestly don't understand how nothings happened to him yet.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Going to the MT Gox Creditor Meeting and What Will You Do If You See Mark on: July 22, 2014, 03:28:46 AM
If you have any doubt he will be there just make sure frapuccinos are served at the event. Problem Solved
