362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like I am screaming "get off the beach" before a tsunami but no one cares on: May 25, 2014, 01:31:56 AM
I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.  People really don't like change so anything new does not seem important to them.  But I often feel like I telling so many people around me about Bitcoin and how they really should buy just a little or at least read about it and look into and and almost everyone ignores me.

Here is one example: Just this week I posted a comment on this article about the growing perils of a cashless society and my comment about how Bitcoin could solve some of these problems is now the "worst" comment with no thumbs up and all thumbs down!  Really!?  I don't know why that bothers me so much.  Sigh.  Oh well.  I guess I have to be thankful that I will be "up the hill" when the tsunami does hit.

Here is the article BTW:

http://money.msn.com/personal-finance/the-growing-perils-of-a-cashless-society

Why view it as a Tsunami that you have to be out of harms way from?

How about more of a "Missing the Boat" analogy?   Theyre missing the boat to potential riches, and they'll be kicking themselves in 5 years when they look back and see Bitcoin sat at $440 for several months. That's how I view those who ignore me right now.

I don't think some horrible armageddon is going to come that I will be saved from.   Reality doesn't happen that way.  Just like Obama never was really going to "Destroy America", the "Crash of the US Dollar" probably wont happen.  At least not as suddenly and dramatically as people predict.   Doomsday prophesies are always wrong.

The irony of your last statement is hilarious.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Bitcoin Foundation-fraudsters, pedophiles, murderers ,fat fucks and scammers on: May 24, 2014, 09:58:17 PM
With their extreme corruption and evidence linking them to some of the biggest scams in Bitcoin (MTGox) and murders made to look like suicides. Now with the revelation that KNC didn't actually pay the $100k under proper procedure or even more likely at all to vote for Brock Pierce and elect him. Honestly what will it take to rally together the Bitcoin community and take these scumbags down? The leadership of the foundation for the most part consists of fraudsters, fat fucks, pedophiles, murderers and scammers who don't even properly cover their tracks, it's like they feel there so untouchable they think no one can stop them.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just paid the $100K USD via BTC to become a Platinum Member of TBF. on: May 24, 2014, 08:17:42 PM
What happens if TBF can't verify the payment was made. Re-election? Is Brock Pierce blocked from entry? Is KNC blocked from voting?

It would be impossible for TBF to forge a backdated transaction as big as the platinum membership fee. Their only way out is to say that the fee was paid by transfer of private key(s). If TBF cannot produce that, knc is obviously not a member and their vote is disqualified.

I don't know how the voting went. How many votes did BP win by?

I know transaction can not be forged on the blockchain what I'm asking is if TBF can't verify the transaction (which they can't because it didn't happen) what procedure has to be followed? I'm under the understanding that that is the only address they said they can would for member fees, continuing membership etc. so I don't think they are even allowed to receive btc for membership in another address.

Has the foundation made any response to this yet?
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Alt-coin about to hit x100 growth on: May 19, 2014, 07:21:55 PM
I just received insider news that a certain altcoin is about to appreciate about x100 because of a new feature/implementation (I'm not really sure but I trust the source). It will gain x100 it's current value. I'm not posting this in an attempt to get people to pump a coin (because then people would just say I'm trying to dump) I'm posting this to gain credibility to myself once people see that I was right and the coin actually does hit insane growth I will be more credible, if you wish to buy some of the coin that is your own decision. Currently just verifying some things and I will then post the coin.

369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All things considered Brock Pierce, et al.! [w/POLL] on: May 17, 2014, 07:05:43 AM
The more I read, the more creepy this whole thing gets...the Foundation needs to make a public statement as to why they are ok with having him on the board (if they haven't already done so)..

We, TBF board members, were not aware of Brock Pierce's past, albeit we find it a non-issue.

That said, we duly hope that Brock Pierce will bring more welcoming funding to TBF like he did with KnC's $100K USD one day prior to the election.

Now, if you'll excuse us, we have yet another behind the door board meeting to attend to, then write-off some requisites to have some members paid via BTC, of which all can clearly see via the Brock-Chain, of which, BTW, was name changed to such via 51% approval, again behind closed doors.

372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All things considered Brock Pierce, et al.! [w/POLL] on: May 16, 2014, 07:40:17 PM
Are you trying to save the Bitcoin Foundation with this witch hunt or put the final nail in its coffin?

Witch hunt? Please look at the irrefutable evidence, your reminding me of the Jimmy saville defeneders claiming it all slander and bs when the evidence is clear.

It's a community service when you release information once informing everyone so they can make an informed decision. It's a witch hunt when every other thread is about it and you dedicate a week of your life to the research. I think this Brock Pierce guy should hang from the nearest tree but how many threads do we need on the subject?

What's the end goal here? Is his removal from the foundation and it's salvation the goal or is this an attempt to kill the foundation entirely?

For me the goal is not to just remove Brock Pierce from the foundation to save face for bitoin, that would be selfish to just look out for financial interests. I will not only attempt to remove him from any association with crypto but I will also put in as much work as I can to bring down him and his pedophile ring. You have to take a step back look at this situation and realize innocent children are being used and abused by these people and to me that is a far more pressing concern then saving face for bitcoin. I have countless times seen people disregard irrefutable evidence of mass pedophile rings ex. Jimmy Saville so these days I have to take it in my own hands to get anything done. I promise you all, you will soon see these people punished for their crimes.

Your're never to young to be successful, don't let all the bitter people replying here make you think otherwise.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Decentralized Union - New Bitcoin/Crypto Foundation on: May 15, 2014, 02:01:07 AM
Exactly everything will be done in an orderly fashion I'm not jumping the gun. This is a topic that has been widely discussed for some time and I'm getting the input of a lot of people in the field.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Decentralized Union - New Bitcoin/Crypto Foundation on: May 15, 2014, 01:42:10 AM
as for cryptopaths personal bounty project.. he seems to have gone off the idea of a decentralised foundation and now wants a bitcoin island. i told him to make some proposal details, tasks/goals, skills acquired/required. and a list of the benefits.

basically a standard business proposal any investor wants to see to take anything serious. yet i now see he has ignored my tips for success and skipped straight for the money grab. trying to find out how rich people are:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=609319.0

If you actually read the thread you would see it is polling if people make a sizable amount of their income in crypto. Just because ideas differ doesn't mean one is a scam. Weren't you the one in favor of bounty programs and each project getting by on its own merit? This is just one project and if people would like to see it progress it will hence the Decentralized Union. You are still free to propose anything you would like. No one project defines the Decentralized Union but all projects should further Crypto and that is my goal.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Decentralized Union - New Bitcoin/Crypto Foundation on: May 15, 2014, 01:09:12 AM
I really don't think you understand the benefit to the community having a tangible land mass would create. Offices etc. don't have the same power as actual land.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Decentralized Union - New Bitcoin/Crypto Foundation on: May 15, 2014, 01:01:37 AM
I fail to see how a crypto centric real tangible hub wouldn't further crypto/bitcoin, If people feel the idea has merit they can back it I'm already in contact with people that would like to see the idea become a realization. A scam is not delivering on what is promised and I have no intention of doing that and safegaurds can be put in place to ensure that. Just because something is suggested that is against what you want does not mean it is a scam.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fate of those who challenge world's reserve currency! on: May 15, 2014, 12:16:46 AM
The Decentralized Union has big plans on this very topic, central banks should think twice about bitcoin/cryptos.
