302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does panicking made you feel ease? Or depressed? on: November 17, 2018, 10:23:31 PM
I think panicking should be out of the question in this industry. It will simply do no good but a lot of bad not just to your investments but also your confidence. A lot of people have been left in regrets as a result of poor decision made due to panicking. I personally don't panic on any crypto asset. If I find myself in a questionable position, I try to maintain a clear head and most times, I ensure I don't go about checking my portfolio every little time. Doing this could certainly wear you down and make you undertake rash decisions which most times lead to regrets. Try holding your positions and consider investing more time in trading research.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: November 17, 2018, 10:05:25 PM
Far from it, you aren't late however, you may have taken the step at the difficult of times considering what is presently happening in the industry. I have couple of people who have lost complete interest as a result of the bearish nature of the market at the moment. It is understandable that with a lot of uncertainties at the moment, Newbies as well as intermediaries have all lost interest or lost faith in the crypto industry but the positive side of things is that, you can take this time to seat and observe the benefits of crypto and how to profit from it. Get as much resources as possible and educate yourself about the industry. The bullish trends will surely come back and I assure you, you want to be completely prepared and ready to handle it when  it surely comes back. You aren't late and the time to start doing the correct thing is now!
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who actually invests in ICO's? on: November 16, 2018, 10:59:51 PM
Actually, with the way things have been these past few months, it makes no sense investing in any ico without real substance. This is because its almost certain that once these projects get listed on an exchange, the price often crashes by over 60% from the ICO price making it almost impossible for investors to get anything out of their investments. The strategy is to wait and buy at a far cheaper rate once it gets listed on the exchanges because it certainly will dump massively. People who invest in ICOs nowadays actually have no idea of the market or they are just plain naive. Investing in ICOs isn't lucrative and shouldn't be embarked upon at the moment,  Probably until the markets return to normal but for now, it's a no go....
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: November 16, 2018, 10:02:26 PM
Protecting your wallet isn't only a necessity but its one of the most important things needed to survive the harsh terrain of this industry. Here are some important tips to keep you in the clear at all times. Always ensure to keep your private keys, keystore files safe and avoid inputting them on any site that requests for them. Also, ensure you bookmark trading sites and wallet sites such as MEW and always access these sites directly from your bookmarks to avoid falling prey to phishing sites. Another helpful point is to have an entirely separate wallet for importing your tokens when accessing decentralized exchanges for trading. With these few points, you should be in the green always...
306  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Falling Down? Is it The end ? on: November 16, 2018, 09:50:31 PM
Definitely Not! This is just another of many bitcoin price crashes and as history has shown, it won't be down for long. Its always going to withstand the crashes and bounce back even stronger. I must say, this bear has left no coin untouched. It has battered almost every coin to a standstill but this was always going to come sooner or later. It remains to be seen how the market will react after this phase. We are all eagerly waiting....

308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is the best time to invest and join bounty campaigns on: November 13, 2018, 10:39:45 PM
I couldn't agree more... With the recent panic in the industry, prices of tokens haven't seen any positives instead they have kept depreciating in value with even the more established coins/tokens suffering major hits. These tokens will be on the front row of recovery once the market trends change for the better and as such, it is only wise to accumulate these coins/tokens as much as possible now that they are at their lowest. These are the kind of opportunities that will make you so much money from this industry. Like they always say, buy as much as you can when prices are dipping and sell for huge gains when prices are appreciating. This is the winning formula in this industry.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty projects need to change approach to bounty allocations on: November 13, 2018, 06:06:20 PM
You have a point. Unfortunately, this may never happen. The only way to ensure this works is by bounty managers developing smart contract addresses to hold bounty allocations in a form of escrow contract address even before the bounty commences. By doing this, there is a guarantee that tokens allocated to the bounty will be completely distributed to qualified hunters accordingly. I know of some organised bounty platforms that are already doing this and its been working out effectively. Hunters should be paid their due for job done and it is completely irresponsible from project developers to try and shortchange Bounty hunters.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 90 percent of the coins die? on: November 13, 2018, 05:37:42 PM
There is a great chance that a lot of Altcoins will die as a result of not being able to keep up but saying 90% of them will die is actually far fetched. Like I keep saying, over 60% of the coins/tokens present in the crypto industry has little to No substance of value and as such aren't projects to be considered in the long run. Everyone who can write a white paper, design a site and build an Ethereum contract address is floating an ICO (project) offering completely nothing but expecting to raise so much funds from token sales. These are the category of projects that will surely die a natural death with time and unfortunately, there are a whole lot of them out there.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Influence of Bounty Participants on: November 12, 2018, 07:37:00 PM
Bounty hunting and in effect Bounty hunters is a key sector in the crypto industry. It is for this reason that almost every project dedicates a portion of their resources towards bounties. The help job offered by bounty hunters cannot be overemphasised. Bounty hunters bring much needed advertising and marketing to the would be investors or potential investors. Traditional advertising means will costs the project hundreds of thousands of dollars but with bounty hunting, they spend little or nothing since payments are mostly made in form of project tokens. Bounty hunters are responsible for this and pull in tons of investments to the project which otherwise will be extremely difficult to come by. So yes, bounty hunters and their jobs have enormous effect to the success of any project.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think 2017 was the best Year for Crypto on: November 11, 2018, 08:31:05 PM
I think I will have to agree with you on this assumption. The crypto industry enjoy arguably the best year of constant appreciation and adoption and made people lots of profits in the process. 2018 has been a far contrasting year for crypto as most coins, tokens and projects have received great negativity with the end actually not in sight. However, we still have 1 more month to go and a lot can happen between now and the end of the year. Our hope is that the markets pick up pretty soon....
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: November 11, 2018, 05:25:09 PM
Absolutely Not! Most of these so called rating sites are paid to hand out misleading ratings to unsuspecting investors. Many projects with high ratings on the rating directories have all gone under with many of them absconding with millions of dollars. Carrying out personal research and investigations about a project gives you better knowledge and better investment decisions than leaving it at the hands of strangers who may not have your interests at heart. Take whatsoever the rating sites tell you with a pinch of salt, most times, it doesn't hold much importance.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The End of Anonymity and the Start of Tax Hell for Crypto on: November 11, 2018, 04:21:37 PM
Honestly I wouldn't be too worried if the removal of anonymity surrounding crypto leads to stability as well as eradication of the countless scams and shitty projects currently littering the industry. The much preached decentralisation of the industry hasn't offered much really. Instead, it has created full fledged scams and substandard projects offering nothing. If the government plans on introducing regulation then my hope is that everyone embraces fully for the overall betterment of the crypto industry.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why creating more coins. on: November 10, 2018, 09:35:41 PM
Good question..... I have asked this same question repeatedly without any convincing answer yet. I believe the crypto industry is saturated with several coins that normally shouldn't be. The proliferation of these coins is alarming and needs to be checked. Over 60% of these projects and their tokens have no applicability whatsoever and their developers are only after grabbing as much monies from token sales as possible and leaving worthless tokens at the hands of investors. It is a worrying situation which has been made possible as a result of No regulations guiding this industry. There is practically no reason for creation of more coins or tokens when really they are offering absolutely nothing!

317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most profitable bounty tasks on: November 10, 2018, 06:30:42 PM
Most profitable certainly has to be Translation Campaigns. This has to do with the fact that translation campaigns of most bounties often times have low participation since only a few people can actually translate in the prominent languages. With low participation, the stakes are higher going by the stakes to tokens ratio formula used for calculations. When the stakes are high, the tokens are also high and the fewer the participants, the higher the rewards. Translation Campaigns are always going to offer the highest rewards and this will continue to be the case for a long time to come. Other campaigns worth a look in are signature campaigns and video campaigns as well. They also pay decently.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China lifts ban on cryptocurrency on: November 10, 2018, 05:25:54 PM
This is not only excellent news but essential piece of information. China holds a large percentage of crypto enthusiast as well as adopters and we all know what this means. Fresh funds and more money pumping into the market leading to a higher capitalization of the market which will translate to greener markets than what we are seeing presently. The ban really affected the industry and this will surely breath life back into the market. In the days ahead, there is surely going to be some upward movements and we may just finally see the starting of the much awaited bullish trend.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to put everything in one cryptocurrency? on: November 09, 2018, 10:19:19 PM
This is one of the worst mistakes anyone can make. It is certainly not advisable to lump all your holdings into one crypto asset. Just like with every investment in life, no sensible investor will want his/her funds tied down when they can easily use the same funds for other businesses. As a trader, it is advisable to diversify your portfolio with the intentions of cashing in should any of your investments yield reasonable amount.
