261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy now or wait? on: December 08, 2018, 09:40:17 PM
I think now presents a good opportunity to buy as much as you want due to the fact that, the market is completely down at the moment. Over 80% of coins are way off their original value and as such are now lowly priced without a likelihood that these may change any time soon. Most potential coins already doing massively well even in the face of these challenges, it shows that as soon as the market restarts its upward trend, these coins will do well. The bear market presents a decent opportunity for those who know what they are doing. You could become very wealthy by investing in the right tokens/coins during this bear. Do your research!

263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cyptocurrency never be great again as it was? on: December 05, 2018, 06:54:44 PM
I understand that the current continuous downward trend in the market has brought a lot of confusion between most crypto enthusiasts with questions of "what ifs and would it ever" this is understandable due to that fact that most people have invested so much into various crypto projects. As with every new technology, it takes some time to finally see a permanent or continuous appreciation in value. Certainly, this is what the blockchain and cryptocurrency technology is witnessing. It is still a young innovation and this drops should be expected from time to time. That not withstanding, the market will most likely rebound in the nearest future and reaffirm its importance. The crypto industry isn't dead as most people think, it will take a turn for the better and things will move on well again. Do not fret!
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to exchange your altcoins for dollars or btc? on: December 05, 2018, 06:48:26 PM
I think it has to do with the market situation at that moment. If its dipping uncontrollably then the wisest thing will be to convert your altcoins to USDT which is a more stable coin. If the price of Bitcoin is appreciating, then it is wise to leverage your altcoins on bitcoin and in so doing, profit with the appreciation of Bitcoin. In all, taking a definitive step as regarding your altcoins depends on the price and reaction of Bitcoin in the open market. This is because bitcoin tends to control the direction of almost all altcoins. Check their past price movements and make your decision from there.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading is the key to increase your portfolio in the Bear Market on: December 04, 2018, 10:49:21 PM
I think you have a good point. However, to be successful as a trader, there are a lot of things you need to learn. Jumping into the waters of trading without proper knowledge will be like jumping into a sea full of sharks. You will get bitten to pieces. One has to be careful by being properly grounded and tutored on all basics as well as advanced trading principles. The bear market offers one of the most risky patches to trade on, in order to succeed in this market, one has to be thought effectively. One has to learn how to interpret the markets and make winning trades. If this is done, then one can actually make some good funds.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you happy with stakes payment method ? on: December 04, 2018, 09:12:22 PM
I will have to agree that bounties with fixed amount of rewards are the most attractive. This is because for every task completed, you see the corresponding amount of rewards attached and as such, there is extra motivation to complete your task in time. The stakes system comes with a lot of complexities and most times, a lot of shortchanging of hunters by Bounty managers or Project developers. This leads to complains and sometimes dissatisfaction from hunters. I strongly suggest that this system be eradicated and a more sincere and transparent system implemented.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you use for storing ERC-20 token? on: December 03, 2018, 08:37:45 PM
When I started out in the crypto space, didn't really know much about other wallet options for storing tokens so I went with the popular choice which is myetherwallet (MEW). However, along the line, I became dissatisfied with MEW evidently as a result of the incessant scams and hacks associated with MEW and also its complexities. I migrated to Imtoken and stayed there for a while before finally moving on to settle with Trust Wallet. Trust wallet has served me well over the past few months with decent features and top notch security. Recently, its introduction of the multi currency feature has solidify its position as a top erc20 wallet. Trust is decent and has everything a crypto asset holder needs.

269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future looks bright on: December 01, 2018, 10:35:09 PM
Of course! It's only a matter of time before the market kicks back into shape. Most of the things that have happened recently is to tell us the challenges still associated with this industry. The good thing is that, in the face of the market and adverse crypto difficulties, the technology is still intact and gradually improving to a point where there will certainly be wide scale adoption leading to a solid future and acceptance for cryptocurrencies. Hopefully, more regulations come in, it will bring in confidence and boost investments leading to stable growth.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies must be careful on: December 01, 2018, 10:00:47 PM
It all has to do with the project one trusts with his or her investments. If a project is solid, it doesn't matter what the current market phase is presenting. These kinds of project always find a way to crawl back up in prices due to the fact that, they have solid ideas, teams and above all a product that has solutions. It is common to see people panic sell and regret their actions later, lack of research on a particular project can cause you to sell a good hold and regret your decision much later.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to put everything in one cryptocurrency? on: December 01, 2018, 09:48:35 PM
Obviously, it will be a completely wrong move to put all ones investments on one or two cryptocurrencies. This is because those two could fail terribly leaving you with not just a long face but a demoralised spirit. What I do is, consider some very good projects from their market capitalization and product offering as well as team and then divide my capital accordingly, giving more preference and investments to which project I find most likely to do well. I do that for 10 to 15 projects and keep cashing in them as they all appreciate. The truth is, it's always risky to place all your capital in any form of investments. This is because, all investments are potentially risky.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: November 30, 2018, 09:28:10 PM
This is a common occurrence and I believe it happens with almost every newly launched project token or coin. The main factor responsible for this base level is Greed on the part of the developers who tend to dump project tokens on unsuspecting investors. Also, another factor responsible for price crashing is impatience on the part of investors who will want to make a quick buck. Once this is done, the market becomes saturated with more coins than needed leading to major price crash due to supply being far greater than demand.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: November 30, 2018, 08:47:53 PM
The coins on this list offer the best and safest form of investment to any investor looking at proper investments in the crypto industry. This is because these coins are the most stable and offer real use cases. The strategy is, study them at every dip or base level and buy them at a cheap price and hold for appreciation which will always come. These coins also show their potentials with the massive trade volumes and market capitalization. The top 20 coins offer the best and probably the future of crypto applications and adoptability.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy new coins? on: November 29, 2018, 06:42:12 PM
It completely depends on what the project has to offer. There are too many fake projects out there to waste my resources on. One has to be extremely careful when looking at any new project or coin, most of them are a recycle of what has already been done and unfortunately, most are doing a terrible job at replacing the existings ones. Some are just out to grab monies from unsuspecting investors and then disappearing into thin air. There are indeed a lot of scams looking to take advantage of the decentralized nature of this industry. A lot of research has to go in before one has to part away with any investments on any new coin.

276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you regret getting involved in crypto? on: November 28, 2018, 06:23:15 PM
Definitely not and why will anyone who has had the opportunity of riding on the next level technology regret doing so? I have made some pretty good profits from this industry to consider myself blessed to have found this opportunity. I understand with the recent extended downward trend, there has been a lot of regrets by a fair share of crypto enthusiasts as well as adopters, this is understandable but I am also sure, we all knew the risks involved in this before jumping in. We should also understand that, this is a young and growing industry with so much room for improvement and thus, so much more profits to be made. I will advice us to be patient for there is still much gains to be achieved.

278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you care about product? on: November 27, 2018, 04:13:56 PM
Absolutely yes! This is one of my favourite feature when looking at any project either to invest or to participate in the bounty. A project need to have a great team, a decent concept/idea, an easily adoptable solution in form a product or service. Projects that check all of the above usually have a stronger chance of success as most people will likely adopt their product or service, leading to major market appreciation. Take a statistics of the current successful projects online, you will notice that over 70% of them all have a working product or service. It could be a form of a payment model or service, security service, or a kind of blockchain solution. This has made them all successful in their chosen niches. So yes! A product is important and necessary to the survival of any crypto project.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is worst investment ever on: November 27, 2018, 02:23:08 PM
I completely disagree... You probably didn't do your home work well, the crypto market can be likened to a sinusoidal wave and people have used this to their advantage countless number of times and made massive profits in the process. If you had kept trading your Bitcoin by buying low and selling at every pump which is common, you will have made at least twice your investments. You probably bought and thought it was going to keep going up which is almost impossible. You held and continued holding when others were trading theirs and making more money for themselves. Its regrettable that you have lost that much but calling bitcoin the worst investment is completely baseless. This was your own fault!
