181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: August 05, 2020, 03:06:32 PM
I'm of the opinion that ICO's are gone for good. The Cryptocurrency industry once gave it a shot and it was compromised by several scam projects who parted away with investors funds and gave the industry a bad reputation. Since people have lost trust in ICO's, we were introduced to the IEO and that's also on the verge of extinction. I do hope a better approach to raising funds in the space would be discovered and utilized.
Indeed, ICOs have made many people lose. So I believe that no one will ever venture to invest in it again. In 2018 I lost more than $ 12k just because of ICOs, and I never trust any ICOs since then.
If that's your own decision I respect what you have been taking but I just realize if the fact that some icos have been starting to get a lot of funds again from the market. That means if everything is still fine right now but the investors actively DYOR to the any ICO.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: August 04, 2020, 11:40:34 PM
no, bounties and airdrops never kill projects, tokens for bounties and airdrops are less than 2%, while the bonuses that investors get are far more than the bounty and airdrop allocations. those who dump on the exchange are of course investors, but if the project is good and there is a lot of demand in the market, the project will not experience a dump
The hunters needed a lot of time before their can receive their payments too and then that doesn't make sense to attack the hunters that become the main causes for all of the dumps that happened in altcoins. Some people have made wrong accusations about this.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN to the MOON on: August 04, 2020, 03:29:27 PM
I think altcoin follow bitcoin so if bitcoin price is going to moon then altcoin will follow it for sure. It was happen on 2017 when bitcoin and altcoin hit the moon. But for now only few altcoin survive and we dont know when bitcoin price go up.
This time the price of bitcoin is starting to go up. It looks like you have  to check the marketcap again and then you will see what is happening with the market right now and everything is fine. altcoins are following bitcoin and whole of major coins to go to the moon.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: August 04, 2020, 03:19:53 PM
Why would they go back to the game? Now some projects use the ICO model, there are just a lot of alternatives, it's good.
it caused by the fact that some icos are still worthy to be considered a game-changer. Did you remember what happened with the DYCO, STO and various things that tried to copycat the ico model? those models have become a failed model.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: August 01, 2020, 11:56:58 PM
escrow doesn't necessarily mean the project developer wont break their promise if they choose too.. well still for now escrow is the safest bet for bounty hunters.. alot of shit going on in the bitcointalk bounty community as of recent
As long as the dev can send the payment first to the trusted escrow and then that will never disappoint the hunters. the problem is when the team was keeping the reward rather than wanna try to send it to the escrow.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many scam giveaways is it because Bitcoin is moving up on: July 31, 2020, 11:28:17 AM
I think scam giveaways are being held all the time, no matter what Bitcoin price is. Still, more people pay attention to crypto when BTC is growing, so scammers become more active in such periods.
The higher the price of bitcoin, the more it becomes popular. And scammer will take advantage of that situation to create many scam programs to deceive new users in this market. Hope they are safe and not greedy with those promotions
Maybe because media exposing the rising of price in bitcoin that makes it more popular but I don't think that the scammers will be any less if the popularity of bitcoin fades. As long as the bitcoin could be cashed out to money there will be new scammers coming up one after another it will never end.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: July 30, 2020, 07:34:14 AM
Coinbase wallet and Luno wallet are still very good but I use these wallets for trading only and after few minutes or hours I move out my coins to my personal wallet which I have it's private key or Mnemonic seed, it's safer this safe
What you do is also almost the same as what I do, because in general all people who trade in exchange will continue to use other wallets to store their assets to be more secure, because the Coinbase Wallet and Luno wallet can function as an exchange and also as wallet basically.
honestly though the chance of these wallet you called like coinbase turns into scam or somehow got your money snatched is kinda low if you could keep your login information safe. they are big company and if anything happens they'll be the one responsible but still there's a chance for that like what happened to some exchanges in the past. The best option for us is always to keep the security by doing what's needed.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: July 30, 2020, 06:58:23 AM
Risks and fear aren't same thing, I know where to put my money so I don't have fear when investing in crypto coin, I have top coins and for new coins I only join IEO on binance launchpad, I always make my profit
Interestingly enough, I found myself fearful when I'm thinking about investing something on the dip, but rationally I understand that it is the right decision.
Considering risks is way more practical than following the fears
tbh it all comes down to your luck anyway, being in the dip or at the bottom doesnt mean it can't go even down further or eventually have no price but if you have the guts to invest and turns out that the price is pumping I'd still consider that as lucky. There's just no clear sign whether something is going to go up or down at that point.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dev and team, show some care on: July 29, 2020, 10:10:26 AM
Don't take it to heart, some projects are backed by bad CEO and team who only want to take advantage of bounty hunters, they will pretend to keep their promise when bounty starts and after bounty ends they will start behaving some how, I don't see how this will end any time sooner, I guess it's one of the pain bounty hunters must bear
Well that truly reflects their real intention to the project aswell,a project that abandons the people that does many favour to them such as promotion is just simply untrustable and have higher potential of becoming a scam so people should be aware.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: July 29, 2020, 09:01:25 AM
New projects will get listed on any exchange they can only afford, I don't blame them when they go small exchange, it's on investors to make decisions on which project they will invest money on, it's just clear that projects from top exchanges are always successful
to be honest, small exchange is fine but not those exchanges with history of shady and nasty activities. However, if a new project still choose those kind of shady exchange then it means their popularity will be doomed and no one gonna put their money to invest to something that's just kinda obvious.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: losing $90 in Medicalchain Coin on: July 28, 2020, 11:19:30 PM
Dears,

What I have to do am losing about $90 in Medicalchain Coin

and It's price no is about less $1

do u expect to raise or not ?
Have you invested in Medicalchain Coin? What kind of coin is this? You're taking too many risks.
he has already invested into the medicalchain coin and that's a crap coin that doesn't have value. he was losing his money caused by it has no volume. That's a scam coin that has already made by the crap team as a money grabber only.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is altcoin season??? on: July 28, 2020, 11:05:08 PM
It will be difficult to ascertain when or how the altcoin season will start. The world's economy is still bleeding from the economic meltdown caused by the covid-19 pandemic. Altcoin will only start if everything returns back to normal as it were before. Which I do believe it will take long than expected to actualize it.
Am believing that it will happen, but when will it happen. That's my question
Yes and although the market currently looks very good but it still does not guarantee that the altcoins season will come in the near future and also, the altcoins season will definitely occur when the price of bitcoin has surged higher or hit its ATH again, basically it still needs time and for the altcoins market it certainly won't be as fast as expected because at least it still relies on bitcoin.
Bitcoin has proven herself today as top of crypto investment. Surging from $9k plus to $11k just today. Bitcoin is going to hit it's ATH soon than expected if it continues to surge like this.
I will be expecting altcoin market to bullish soon
It looks like altcoin will not to along with the bullish trend that was happening with bitcoin. It may take more time for altcoin to prepare for the bullish trend. The bull trend that happens with bitcoin didn't give a huge impact on the altcoin.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to Sell LEDU on Dcoin!! Fake Volume? on: July 27, 2020, 11:33:42 PM
Dcoin is a bad exchange, of course it is a bot and certainly the volume there is fake. don't believe in exchanges like that, it's better to keep using top exchanges
He has no choice and he can only sell his coin on that place and do you know that? what he can do to sell it at the order price and he can't put his own order caused by it will never be sold out as there was no volume on dcoin.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many scam giveaways is it because Bitcoin is moving up on: July 27, 2020, 11:14:45 PM
When the hype happens, a huge number of scammers appear who are trying to steal your money. it seems to me that everyone in the cryptocurrency market already knows all the scam schemes
That's why and those scammers will be going so crazy and we need to be more careful with our money to avoid the scammers. The bitcoin pump could lure those scammers to create various trick to scam others.

Spread more awareness.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: July 26, 2020, 12:01:10 PM
I think they are still legit because lately, I am seeing lots of ICOs that raising lots of money. AVAX did an ICO and raised $42-46M which is a huge amount IMO. Maybe we will soon see ICO 2.0 era.
There were so many latest icos that have already raised a lot of money too. Did you remember solana? it has already raised a lot of money too. ICO will enter a new era again. That's just a matter of time until everything will be recovered again.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: July 26, 2020, 11:27:13 AM
I have full confidence in Alter Coin.I hope that many aspirations will be fulfilled in the future through Alter Coin. Many people are investing money here.
Banks are not able to take people to their desired goals.I think it's a lot like the stock market.I have flower confidence here.
It has been showing with the growth of altcoins that happened in this month. so many coins have been touching the new ATH and it looks like bitcoin has already started to show the impact from the lot of newcomers that join in the crypto right now.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Very Important Advice for Devs on: July 24, 2020, 11:57:28 AM
I don't know what positive contributions these platforms have on the space than robbing people of their Bitcoin. I know most of these exchanges do pump and dump but it is just too obvious on these exchanges. I will advice people to move their money out of these exchanges, just look at what happens at Coss.io recently
When their first appearance I though they were an exchange that's supposedly giving a less known project a place for it to create their own IEO but turns out they just list all the trash coin regardless of the serioussness the project has and at that point i totally lost the respect.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto.com investment legit and safe? on: July 24, 2020, 11:44:13 AM
cannot be ascertained whether it is good or not, because the marketcap does not guarantee that a project will last for a long time.
for now it might look good but have to do some research to invest long term.
market cap always have nothing to do with whether a project is safe or not, even market cap doesnt really represent the money circulating its just simple math total circulating coin times the price. I think too that it's better to check them out directly instead of thinking too deep about something that have no certainty.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: July 23, 2020, 12:26:05 PM
this is the IEO era and the ICO era is now over, so many investors choose a safe way and right now the investors invest in IEO but not all IEO projects will end in success. maybe I think after the IEO era ends there will be a new era again and so on.
Outside there are still many ICOs that can succeed
One of them: https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/72597/blockchain-project-ava-raises-42-million-in-a-public-token-sale

ICO or IEO are the same in my opinion, there is no safe way. Scammers can make IEO / ICO, but most investors are smart now, so no matter how good the project is, it will be successful
Many successful ICOs? This year I just saw this ICO really succeed in raising funds, but we still don't know what their future will be like. Many projects completed the hardcap but became a scammer soon after and disappeared from the market
I think so, we still need to see how well they grow after sucessfully finding an investor and keep watching the whole ICO market aswell. Although we know that ICO today is not as succesfull like before but I think we shouldn't underestimate many of them. Probably a gem buried within the mud is still there and maybe we just overlooked things.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum fees are becoming like Bitcoin fees on: July 23, 2020, 11:48:03 AM
It's a big problem, if you make a contract transaction without fee limitation, the transaction fee may cost up to $50 for per transaction. But if you set up limit gas, the transaction will take up to hours to complete.
I hope the fee will decrease at the nearest time because it's pretty high
It will certainly decrease but when the traffic become lower. It's always the nature of blockchain to get its price increased when the traffic is high since people always racing to get their transaction confirmed thus giving higher fee. Actually, using usual normal fee could still make your transaction get confirmed but just longer.
