61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ethereum performance, what do you think? on: February 05, 2021, 01:58:49 AM
If only their fee aren't so ridiculous you need to pay for hundred dollars for a damn transaction then they would have performed even better but nah, small fries are holding and not moving their eth or token anytime soon and that means lesser trading volume but I guess the bagholding also gives contribution to ETH performance right now. If we want to see an even better performance of ETH we need to get the fee problem sorted out for real.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Coin exchange markets create the coin "out of thin air " on: February 04, 2021, 06:24:10 AM
Pretty sure exchanges like Binance just match you with someone else who wiuld like to trade too so there's no coins created out of thin air because basically you guys are just baking the bake on. . And in the process they were badicslly judt passing up the coin. So again, there's no coins being created out of thin air. A simole answer to a simple question
That's my thought as well, the cycle is like this:
someone deposit to binance address -> binance receives and move it to hot wallet -> someone withdraw their crypto -> binance move the coin from hot wallet to the withdrawal address
and binance could possibly bank some cryptos which they got from market fee just in case if there's no suifficient amount of crypto left in the hot wallet which rarely happens. Otherwise, they would've get sued by many people since ages ago.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High possibility major governments will BAN Bitcoin in the near future on: February 04, 2021, 05:01:44 AM
There will be a very noticeable impact on the market, if the governments try to ban Bitcoin. Don't forget the fact that the recent bull run was triggered by institutional adoption of Bitcoin, especially from PayPal. If the government imposes any sort of restriction, then these institutions are going to pull out immediately, resulting in a bloodbath at the market. Bitcoin will exist, but the global adoption will be severely affected.
Bitcoin and other crypto might be affected with any single fud or any single news from the government if they want to banned it in their country but as we all know crypto runs thru online I think it will take so many months or years before they can fully implement it, I don't know how do they stop people from using it, especially now many companies and even well known personalities are into bitcoin now such as Elon, so I don't think they will ban it, possibility is low.
They could definitely ban it if it confronts their interest. Look at India, the moment they about to release their own version of digital coin issued by the government or central bank they outright ban bitcoin and punish those bitcoin users.
The government will always try to get rid of anything that blocked its interest and more specifically in pursue of money and resources. But one thing people need to remember, banning bitcoin is one thing but enforcing the law and detecting the users are another thing.
I bet they need to allocate huge resources if they truly want to impose the law of bitcoin banning.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India makes ownership of Bitcoin criminal offense - How to respond? on: February 04, 2021, 03:12:16 AM
Maybe you gonna be safe as long as you don't detected by government of using cryptocurrencies. AFAIK, if you only make transaction with company that operates outside India the government not gonna find out and since they seem to ban Bitcoin meaning there won't be any local exchange which actually acts as detector to find out who uses bitcoin thus you gonna be forced to use global exchange.
However, the punishment seem too harsh, so many years just for owning bitcoin that you buy with your own money, if the government don't feed their citizen why they need to make such harsh punishment.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: How they get rich - Changpeng Zhao on: February 03, 2021, 06:24:53 AM
The reason why the rich become rich is because they can see opportunities that we do not see, thanks to their extensive experience and vision, and even their level of education. Although it is difficult for ordinary people to reach his level, they can work hard in this direction.
This is true, it's always opportunity that gives boost to our wealth as long as we could take advantage of the opportunity fully. At that time if I remember correctly binance first appearance as a small exchange was such a fresh breath in the air from the already existing exchange with really strict rules like bittrex or poloniex. Binance could easily take all the customers who got kicked out of those two exchanges and become best crypto exchange meanwhile. It's clear that he could see the opportunity at that time and man, I wish i invested to BNB LOL.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the people or group of people will buy the btc top ? on: February 03, 2021, 04:13:18 AM
There's people who uses cryptocurrency for sending money across the world, dealing things in internet such as paying with bitcoin for goods and many more. If the price ever reach that high that means wider mass adoption and the usage of bitcoin as a payment method in various merchants will also increase significantly aswell. By the time $100K reached we wouldn't have to worry about the buy demand or liquidity because otherwise that $100K price point won't be reached. It's not like what people want os BTC price to hit $100K and cash out. Many of them still gonna hold as there's always people who expect higher price point.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whcih countries will be forthcoming on adopting Bitcoin on a natioanl level? on: February 03, 2021, 02:50:22 AM
Most of them who adopt crypto early are gonna be those developed countries like for example japan where they have no problem of taxing people who uses cryptocurrencies. Third world countries or such gonna be very late in adoption because there's too much problem need to be resolved first.
When it comes to country adopting crypto it's just depends on how much beneficial cryptocurrency for the country and how welcoming the country to technology, I expect less from country that hasn't sorted out their bureaucracy (corruption, etc) before adopting crypto
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's nothing special about BTC, you will make MUCH more $ in the stock market on: January 31, 2021, 10:08:08 AM
What a BS LOL, stock market is rotten to the core, the manipulation more rampant than in cryptocurrencies and it's the insider who got to get the profit not average joe and you're saying it's better than bitcoin market.
Did you know why those big player always get profit and the noob small player always the one who lost? it's because the system designed that way.
Even this recent GME fuss talks a lot about this big players and how they could get robinhood to forcesell the GME stock  Roll Eyes
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Does Every Exchange Need To Have Its Own Token? on: January 31, 2021, 09:45:55 AM
It's just business decision whether it has actual function or not it really depends on their business model, BNB gives privilege of discount in fee but other exchange token might not offer such thing like at all.
But I think the only obvious reason is because it could give them additional profit out of nowhere and brand awareness. Also it could be a platform for IEO aswell for many cases. There's nothing complicated behind it.
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: That AI bot that can trade on my behalf without me making the trades on: January 31, 2021, 04:30:53 AM
We have lot of Open sourced trading bots available for people to use or can even buy the one with subscription fee which only execute the trades based on the algorithms set by the users.

AI technology exists but still in the early stage so you can't find such AI trading bot can make trade for you can actually make millions or even in billions everyday but it is still few decades away and may not be available for these kind of usages for sure.
I really think that if there's an AI with such capability of making large profits then doing trading is gonna be some stupid thing to do anymore, I mean what's the point?. I'm pretty sure the government  gonna regulate that bot almost like immediately or if the worst to come  everyone gonna use that bot and the market gonna be such a mess rendering the bot itself useless. so the answer is no,  there's no such thing as bot with high level AI just yet.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin inheritance on: January 30, 2021, 10:31:05 AM
The only way for your descendant to inherit your bitcoin if you don't disclose the private key is to entrust it into some reliable centralized institution which is very risky.
or maybe if there's any software that set up some sort of timer to disclose the private key to your descendant if you don't access your wallet for few months, it can be a good solution too.
There's many trustless solution to it but one thing for sure is you need a timer or anything else to make decision when is the right time to disclose your crypto information or even sending your crypto to other wallet as proposed by aleksej996
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich have too much on: January 30, 2021, 09:09:27 AM
That's funny, isn't the whole point of people working hard day and night is to hoard the wealth? Imagine if your money could be taken that easily are you still willing to work your ass off? the day when such laws (distributing rich money to poor) is the day when everyone become lazy and there's gonna be no development in technology.
Those rich people become rich for reason and if they get it from working hard I don't see any problem. Taxing is enough.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: after gamestop's short squeeze, reddit turns to doge. 600%+ today on: January 30, 2021, 04:34:18 AM
To be sincere it was very crazy yesterday seeing their of Doge doing 7X, these Gamestop investors have tasted money with their Gamestop profit and just like any human being want more, that was why some of them aped into Doge yesterday, but Crypto is unforgiving for a greedy investors, because they will keep looking for the next best thing until most of them get burn
But, is there any believable reason that the cause of doge pumping yesterday was those people who formerly invest in game stop then got suspended by robinhood?
I think, the main drive of doge pump was because Elon Musk tweeting randomly about it or I might be mistaken. Still though it's going down by a lot within few hours but still up like 300%, if doge could hold this price point, another wave might come.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non successful projects find it hard to pay on: January 29, 2021, 09:45:28 AM
It never going to be easy for a project that's not successful to pay promoters, if they raise very low amount of money for development they can decide not to pay a dime, it's never their fault, as a reasonable bounty hunter if a project you promote failed to raise money for development do not bother to expect anything from such project, it's not easy to look away but it's part of the risks that bounty hunters must take
Being bounty hunter is the same as investing to a project but instead of money you're investing your time. I think if the reward pool have been decided from the very start and the allocation already made aswell there's no reason for the project to refuse to pay, for example when the developer already proposed of the token total supply allocation. except if the projects fail hard they can't picture to maintain that project even for a year or the bounty hunter were promised with stablecoins as a payment which doesn't exist if there's no money to be raised.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE CRYPTO MARKET IS SO RICH AND SATURATED on: January 29, 2021, 08:53:05 AM

THE CRYPTO MARKET IS SO RICH AND SATURATED

The crypto market has always been rich and saturated, you just need to understand the nature of the entire in order to know what to invest in. In as much that the crypto market is rich, you should also understand that there are a lot scams available on the crypto market. These scams are part of the reasons why the market is also saturated.  There are about 45% of scam projects on the crypto market. After they made money, the project becomes dead and investors become victims.
THe crypto market weren't like this 8 years ago so I can say it's really amazing growth of crypto market. However, talking about scam, it's safe to say that if we stick to the common knowledge of not being too greedy and if something's too good to be true then that might be scam we can never be scammed. Frankly, scamming happens like literally everywhere, in stock market, startup, and many more. Even scamming in traditional market occur so frequently people normalize it. It's just how we keep ourselves away from any kind of scam.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About people that bought too early [and lost them] on: January 29, 2021, 06:39:07 AM
People forgets and btc in the early stage is really cheap like if I ask you where you put your pennies 10 years ago will you remember it? I bet you don't. but, your statement holds truth aswell though. Some of them might just trying to seek attention.
But, actually whether those story really true or not actually none of our business. If we can help them retrieving the privkey that was lost, good. Otherwise, better to just leave that topic. However, it shouldn't be a strange thing to see people seeking a way and asking such question because honestly this forum frequently appears first page in google search engine when it comes to cryptocurrency problems.
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: You saw the BTC price WOULD YOU BUY!?............ on: January 28, 2021, 10:57:15 AM
Well, you know, buying cryptocurrencies on their high is a thankless job. These swings of BTC between 30-33 thousands are rather good for short-term trading, but long-term investments are better to make when everything totally dumped.
The price swings still kinda scary though, it's indeed suitable for short-term trading but the price could just go fall down at anytime if the price fall break past $30K point.

Im no expert but I think buying BTC at this price is still a good one, on the future we can expect that BTC price will go to 6 digits already and that we wont be able to afford it that much already, BTC is having its new ATH at the moment so just wait for its correction before buying.. This price is good for swing trades only as you know BTC price flactuates this days too fast. Look at this price of BTC tho, really do fluctuates really fast so its good for swing trades and not hodling as history may repeat itself again where BTC price pops and hodlers who bought at its ATH before suffer from lose. But I actually dont think that you will be much affected if you are a hodler of it as you can have patience for years until it had its new ATH again.
Definitely, buying after correction is good enough but there's no harm in trying to buy when it's at lowest point. Though I doubt that the price could go any lower than $30K in the upcoming weeks but if the news regarding bitcoin adoption keeps appearing on many medias it's fair to say that maybe the bull run is not over yet.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Celebrities Promoting, Others Disreputing Bitcoin on: January 28, 2021, 07:31:37 AM
that's always bound to happen. There might be some criminal activities amidst cryptocurrency hype but it shouldn't even be considered as a representation of what cryptocurrency is mainly used for. That's what I'm afraid when seeing some people who knows literally nothing about cryptocurrencies being exposed to some negative news from the celebrities they like.
The big problem about celebrities is that some of them might recklessly accepting endorsement from some shady crypto website and it might only takes few millions of dollar to stain whole cryptocurrency reputation once it gets to media.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And yet another mistreatment on: January 27, 2021, 09:25:36 AM
A scaredy cat developer, I mean, why even trying to make bounty campaign if the reward got paid in 2 and half year lol its just goes to show that they are greedy and afraid of dumping is simply an excuse. I mean, if they are afraid of dumping due to the bounty reward that they themselves allocated doesn't that mean they don't even trust their own project? so silly. Moreover, if they want zero chance of dumping within their coin market why not use stablecoin?
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let`s say bitcoin replaces fiat. What happens? on: January 27, 2021, 07:21:45 AM
Some people think that mining cryptocurrency more specifically bitcoin will have some kind of consistent profit and if the scenario you mentioned really happens they gonna rule the world but truth is many people gonna try mining aswell which in return increases difficulty and decreases the profit. It's gonna be a hell of competition and there's chance of switching from PoW to another method to avoid waste of energy altogether when miners becoming too much and energy consumed becoming unbearable, it's not that simple.
