same as above at the macro level....long clearly defined s/r zone where price tends to move away from it energetically...upwards when above and downwards when below...for some 15 months now   sentiment remains cautiously bullish as the Ukrainian crisis moves into its 4 week

currently trading above $42k on fairly decent weekend volume

Fair warning: Moving coin onto the exchange in preparation for further ranch buildout funding. Starting to get that loving feeling again...

Yeah.. historically, you have had some tendencies to sell too many coins too soon.. not 100% so.. but at least decent probabilities, and then your whole disclosure on this might mean that we are going to get a doubling or tripling of the BTC price from whatever point that you make your alleged BIG sales... .so fair enough.. fair enough....

Honduran president Xiomara Castro to announce Bitcoin as legal tender.

Quote
Bitcoin to be announced as official legal tender in Honduras, one year after El Salvador adopted Bitcoin, sources say.

While the move would mark the second sovereign state to adopt Bitcoin, Honduran President Xiomara Castro is said to have commented, “we are still early.”

“We must not allow El Salvador to be the only country escaping dollar hegemony,” Castro is said to have said. “Honduras has the right to move toward the First World.”

Castro will make an announcement on Monday morning by “putting on the lasers,” one source said.

More to come as this breaking story unfolds.

...that is if any of us are still leaning a bit more towards bull than bear....

not easy to be a bull-leaner in these kinds of times.

not easy to maintain any kind of strong confidence that the market has not yet converted to bear.

not easy to look at all the strange-ass happenings in the world and considering whether BTC prices might not hold up.. and might we end up getting some kind of liquidation event copy-cat that resembles the March 2020 liquidation event... can the world/economy tolerate two of those kinds of liquidation events so close together without going into melt down.

A picture worth understanding and there might be different explanations from word of mouth but those who don't understand the core importance of bitcoin always speak shit about it according to what they perceive:

420 addendum   better overview of the weekly chart

midway between the error bars...seems legit     added the blue box because from the covid dip of 2020 market dynamics could have been stunted      cognitive bias in play here...things just havent looked like I expected...neither good nor bad...just different

next big resistance seems around $45.8kish....support...support has moved up and is above $40.5k for now...again...promising   about the only thing lacking is decent accumulation volume    confidence is high price will see over $100k in the next 24 months should conditions continue as they are      the move above $60k...avoiding a triple top....all obstacles that will be overcome     feeling more positive about price than i have in awhile...sad the the World has to be in such a shitty place to see it    had to happen    this is known

Holy fuck his is gonna hurt tomorrow. Forgot to take off Watch…
Surely that would have just increased the amount of hurt though?

Kinda sucks. NGL. Who is throwing the $58k party ?

Did my small part lobstering myself. That $30k midrange action was complete bullshit.

"Occam’s Razor says Satoshi was a human rights activist in a long line of Cypherpunks and civil libertarians, which is even cooler, but the time traveler narrative is up their with the secret deep state creation of BTC by the USG as fun theories"

https://twitter.com/gladstein/status/1504701801945133059?s=20&t=WG5o8FxWlZGj2bqwRWksxg

Its funny this is mentioned because I have been thinking about all the time travel movies that have come out recently.  The Adam Project, Tenet, The Tomorrow War...let alone the dozens of other classics that have been made over the years.

And I was watching this tribute to scifi and started to game this idea.

its like 5 hours long..but a great homage to 1980s scifi movies

man...when a youngster i soaked up these movies like a sponge...its hard to quantify the influence some of these films have had on my life but it surely is tremendous
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11341742/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Search_of_Tomorrow

Anyway, the question I kept coming to was this. If you had one shot at time travel...one chance...what would you do?  Maybe you cant send anything physical back...it might only be one time...one way..with a brief message...or maybe just one piece of paper. I dont know...sever limits regardless.

Or maybe its only an audio connection.. you can only speak across a Einstein-Rosen bridge.  What if you could go back physically? Would you go back and kill someone?  Putin? Ford? OBL? Hitler?  Hoping to advert countless deaths?  If there was one, would you send back the cure for cancer?  For covid?

If you could only do one thing...what would it be?  What do you think would have the greatest impact on our society? I keep coming back to this...you would want to fix the root of the problem...not the symptoms.

What idea or concept would help the most people...not the most affluent...not people who happen to be born on one side of a imaginary line and not the other. Dunno...keep coming back to financial reform and decapitating these politicians, autocrats and corporations that siphon away our freedom and financial sovereignty.

Maybe there are better ideas out there...lets hear your take.

how does it look on other time frames?  does the narrative match?  how about stretching it out so all those spikes are smoothed...still drive the narrative?   anyway..like the work and daring to be different

Actually "those" days I was referring to were the days the normies came out to drink.

You're right about the nostalgia aspect though. We seemed to have more fun than the sourpusses I see in the bars now. A lot of younger people seem to take themselves much too seriously.

At least I live in a neighborhood with lots of live music. Canned music sucks. Live music is best.

Getting ready to head out now. Got my "I <shamrock> Guinness" t-shirt and my Guinness top hat on. Mr. Jamieson awaits.

actually got a invite to go out tomorrow and check out some live music for the first time since before all this started..think i might make it happen

...Those were the days.

Glory days past but not forgotten..they do seem to have a certain shine to them. I know that every generation feels as you and I do..that yesteryear was better somehow. Perhaps...I think it has to do with wanting what is known and familiar as compared to the uncertain future.

I think that all better days are in the present or future..not the past..its up to the individual to move forward and meet those days.

sure knew how to party back then tho and i miss listening to live music terribly

and I think bitcoins current valuation should be closer to 2.5 to 10 trillion than i think the 1.75(0.75) reported atm     plenty of room for growth

I agree with the overall points of your post, ToxicMoxic - except, I am not sure about from where you got any figure showing BTC as having a $1.75 trillion market cap.  Sure, the overall "crypto" marketcap is around that $1.75 trillion mark, but bitcoin's portion of that is ONLY about $0.75 trillion.

I do understand some of the arguments regarding capital searching for a place to go, and so I also appreciate that there is going to be some movements of value in and out of bitcoin that does not necessarily leave "crypto".. yet unless we really try to figure out the various market cap shenanigans that are being played by various shitcoins, there may well be some swimming aspects when describing overall "crypto" value rather than attempting to stay more focused on bitcoin... though there may well be some validity to some of the value moving in and out of bitcoin and into some of those other coins as being valid.. especially sometimes those moves in and out will give some ideas regarding capital looking for a place to go (as you suggested there to be some representation of that concept within the overall "crypto" space that might not ONLY be what we can see through bitcoin's market cap by itself).

ugh..you are...r.....righ.....not sure i can say it......ugh......you are right.  there i said it....now go away...i will remind you that it is Thursday...politely...

Also in the news..

Its St. Patrick's day.

https://www.almanac.com/content/st-patricks-day

Quote
St. Patrick’s Day is officially observed on March 17 each year, though celebrations may not be limited to this date. The significance of March 17 is that it’s said to be the date of St. Patrick’s death in the late 5th century (circa A.D. 493).

Quote
Saint Patrick is the patron saint and national apostle of Ireland. He is credited with successfully spreading Christianity throughout Ireland—hence the Christian celebration of his life and name.

Quote
The symbol of St. Patrick is a three-leaf shamrock, not a four-leaf clover. However, long before the shamrock became associated with St. Patrick’s Day, the four-leaf clover was regarded by ancient Celts as a charm against evil spirits.

Quote
We wear a shamrock on St. Patrick’s Day because, legend says, St. Patrick used its three leaves to explain the Holy Trinity in his teachings. (The Trinity is the Father, the Son, and the Spirit as three divine persons who are one divine being [God].)

Paper traders and MSM would have you believe bitcoin is just another asset class....its not.

I wish we would get an asset class valuation first (at least $10-15 tril aka $500-750K per) before having serious dibs on larger inspirations, which are more down the line (could be a decade), imho.

two to ten trillion is swirling around right now looking for better returns...and frankly...any return. Cutting off and basically destroying a nation states economy is a serious wake up call for many...or it should be.

and I think bitcoins current valuation should be closer to 2.5 to 10 trillion than i think the 1.75 reported atm     plenty of room for growth

In other prognostications

The Moon is full tomorrow night in the house of Virgo. The Goddess..the mother who holds the power to heal. This is again time to reflect upon the past and forgive yourself and others.

The low side of Virgo or the shadow side, is perfection. On striving for perfection we often fail, and one of the hardest things to do is to forgive yourself those failures...to be able to say yeah...I messed up...but thats ok....I am going to try harder next time.

When you hold onto this resentment your ability to see clearly and to attract positive vibrations is dampened. Life is not perfect..its a mishmash of imperfect and arbitrary events that can be overwhelming.

Let go of the past and let the healing begin. This is the way.
