121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Decentralized Fog Computing on: September 24, 2019, 04:13:47 PM
this coin is a scam?  Grin
I wouldn't recommend buying this shit. They've finished the development and now don't have money? Spent 42 million in 2 years, That's a lie, SONM team used ICO funds for personal projects/company. Now without any money or marketing this shit is dead, Binance and other exchange will likely delist SNM for this behavior.
well i have just made a crap load of cash out of this coin in a matter of a week.
Good for you! Be sure to jump off the ship at the right time otherwise you'll regret it. I wouldn't touch this shit, There are plenty of other coins I'll ponder to buy.

People who don't have faith in this coin will not touch at the pumping stage. I don't know what was the exact news released by the team because we are seeing much negative news from the community that the admin has left the project without any developments.
where you get this this news that admin left the project without any developments. can you provide the source of this news.
if you get this news on telegram group then it could be fudding by some people.
in last 24H sonm rise about 69% according to coinmarketcap. if negetive news comes then why this is going up in one day?

According to you, there is no positive news released from the team then how the price of SNM increase more than 150% in one day. In the current fluctuations, how can a coin price increase very quickly to that much higher value?
Simple, Manipulation. There's huge amount of SONM parked in Binance exchange and now with recent announcement of development being halted there's risk of SNM getting delisted. So it might be Whales/SONM team pumping and then dumping their bags. If anyone has a better explanation, Please go ahead!
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: September 24, 2019, 04:07:41 PM
Pundi X has the most ridiculous Telegram imaginable.

I signed in today after an 8 hour gap and there were nearly 300 messages. 99% of those are complete bot trash along with trigger happy weird users just posting gif after gif after gif...

How many of those 29,000 users are actually real people with real interest in the project and how many are fake accounts?
Maybe 2-4k users are real? I've seen a lot of crypto TG groups with 20k+ members but only like 1-2k are online (Whenever I've looked), Which might hint the real users in a group. IMO discord is way better for any chat groups, They should move there!
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can't trace my address using mnemonic on: September 23, 2019, 12:57:10 PM
You probably have entered a wrong word or your derivation path is different. You could use this tool https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39 to test for different derivation path, Make sure you use it offline. I hope you didn't lose a lot.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about Hedera Hashgraph? on: September 22, 2019, 04:06:26 PM
Very interesting project, many good exchanges. Bittrex for example. By the way HBAR is very hot now, panic buy will be happen Wink
People FOMO buying HBAR will be sore losers, Seed investors will keep dumping as they've gotten their share for $0.001 I believe. HH isn't any special there are way better blockhains that can outpace HH in many ways, The only special about HH is their partnerships.

126  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best coin staking services on: September 22, 2019, 06:18:25 AM
I'll never trust these services, I prefer staking on my own(If i have to), They might run away with coins who knows! There's also coins with delegation system like Tezos,ICON,Komodo etc.. It's better to buy those if you want interest bearing coins.

128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: WINGS ★ Where DAO Unicorns Are Born! ★ Token launched! on: September 22, 2019, 05:15:16 AM
I haven't checked WINGS in a really long time any idea if the team is still working on the project? and what are they currently working on? price has fallen a lot since I last checked.
Last I heard they were going to implement DAO, Like if people wanted a new feature and if it got enough votes that feature will be worked on, Besides that there's probably nothing new..
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can blockchain favour big gaming industries? on: September 21, 2019, 06:24:07 PM
Is there any way blockchain can favour gaming industries like SONY or Microsoft? how can blockchain we used in playstation and xbox platforms? because i think this is another good way to put crypto into good use, we have millions on gamers around the world that can't stop gaming both offline and online, what do you think?
Not really sure how blockhain can favor gaming industries. Would it be possible for blockhain to act as anti-cheating mechanism, Like every move and kills can be recorded on blockhain to prevent out of scope moves?
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: OkEx Korea removes all privacy coins on: September 21, 2019, 05:32:13 PM
greatest altcoin delist from okex is not good information, have anything wrong with this altcoin have to delist from okex? We always check new update information keep away lost our assets.
Read the post above mine. I'm afraid big exchange's might do the same, Since privacy coins can't be tracked government officials will make buying or trading these coins difficult. Atomic swaps might be of good use in case there's a wider ban on privacy coins.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: WINGS ★ Where DAO Unicorns Are Born! ★ Token launched! on: September 20, 2019, 06:21:08 PM
What wallet for main net?
Any ETH wallet should work fine. Wings is pretty much dead (At least for me), It was good in ICO days now no one is using it. I hope things change and platform gets used again.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano now will able of recover the majority of previous Bear on: September 20, 2019, 07:19:23 AM
Like Cardano every other coin will be recovering, Look at ETH,XRP etc.. all of them are recovering slowly, I see nothing special about ADA. I hodl only little amount of ADA, Which I'll get rid of if / when it returns to the value I bought at. I'm not much interested in ADA anymore.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 18 months on .... im one of the 99% on: September 19, 2019, 05:39:44 PM
im one of the 99% who lost money in the past 18 months
i preferred alt coins , but if i had chosen bitcoin i would have
been in same position ce la vie

one of the last projects im with is still in existence , just !
it seems semi abandoned , but i have millions of tokens
trapped in a project ( website digital token ) that had ambitions to
be a crypto but never made it so far

just wondering is there such a thing as a non listed token exchange
where semi failed projects can exchange tokens for other semi failed projects :-)
id like to split my risk
You are not alone on this(I feel sorry for you  Cry) A lot of people have lost their money in ICO(Including me). My investment is gone!! It was a total scam, It was crazy in 2017, I'm glad I Didn't expose much of my BTC in ICOs. Lesson learned, I'll always have greater percentage of my portfolio in BTC, Bitcoin will never screw me.
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Bulls Celebrate Too Early? on: September 19, 2019, 12:41:34 PM
Altcoins are holding up decent in BTC pair which I think is a good sign that pump isn't over just yet, Altseason might happen after all, Making more BTC from Altseason is the best thing. Grin
135  Other / Off-topic / Re: {Warning}: Vulnerabilities found on password manager LassPass on: September 19, 2019, 07:16:17 AM
How about using Trezor's password manager? Is it any good? Anyone using it here? I'm thinking of buying another device to use it as password manager as well keep small amount of Bitcoin for spending.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy coins getting delisted on: September 17, 2019, 01:04:17 PM
This is just a start, Other exchanges probably will do the same(But I hope they don't). I guess Decentralized exchanges or AtomicDEX will benefit from this largely, The sooner we get used to them the better.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easy and guarantee profit on: September 17, 2019, 12:57:05 PM
Lol you really think people are going to invest in this? Easy and guaranteed profit is something that never happens in crypto. Why not get listed on Binance launchpad if you are so confident about this project?
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs vs IEOs? on: September 16, 2019, 04:34:16 PM
there are so many ico i have been part of but nowadays there are a trend is coming in the way of IEO. But i can not figure out why? because IEO is already have tokens on exchange that is why or is there any other reason?

What thoughts you have about it ?
IEOs have lesser scams unlike ICOs. IEOs are vetted by the exchanges, They put their reputation behind these IEOs also they give good return to investors, This is the reason I believe IEOs are attractive to investors. Of course there can be scams on bigger exchange's IEOs too, It's best to do your research as well before buying into IEOs.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Atomic Swaps use cases on: September 16, 2019, 04:25:01 PM
What do you think will be the use cases of Atomic Swaps? Why would you prefer to use them?
Exchanging coins between multiple chains is best use of Atomic Swaps, DEXs work only in one chain. I also think anonymity/privacy can easily be achieved by Atomic swaps, Say If you have BTC or ETH or any UTXO coin, You can swap to privacy coins like Zcash,Pirate etc and vice-versa, It's like mixing your coins in decentralized way with more security.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think of the next crypto wave/pump? on: September 14, 2019, 04:33:00 PM
last time it was ethereum and ico.
what do you think the next wave would be?
ICOs are practically gone(Good riddance), IEOs are still hot(Lesser scams especially on top exchange's IEO), IEO trend will also fade away just like ICOs. I think next trend will be STOs. Not sure what after that?
