201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people or percentage has held at least 50 or 100 btc at one point? on: July 21, 2019, 10:27:33 AM
I certainly haven't held that many and probably won't in future as price is going to rise significantly. You won't get any accurate answer to this, People don't want to reveal how much they're hodling for the obvious reasons. However, Bitcoin blockchain is an open book, You could write a script that would scrape data and give you some answers..
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: July 21, 2019, 09:23:58 AM
Pundi X Unveils their blockchain based X-Phone in GSMA Mobile 360 Africa event in Kigali, Rwanda. Here's the link to the article.

Thank you for the link.

At $599 I think the XPhone is too expensive.

It's not that expensive IMO because Finney from Sirin Lab costs around $899 and HTC's exodus cost around 699-799.
If XPhone isn't meant for 3rd world / developing countries  then it's not expensive, But if XPhone is to be used by the whole world then price has to come down a lot.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost Bitcoins in 2014 on: July 20, 2019, 02:51:37 PM
Perhaps Bitcoincore was the Miningprogramm.

Its downloading for years i think

Thank you for help!

If you don't want to wait for Bitcoin core to completely sync, You can dump your private keys from Core and import it in Electrum or any other wallet you choose to. Guide is here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transferring_coins_from_Bitcoin-Qt_to_Electrum
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDEX is complying to KYC and other regulations on: July 19, 2019, 05:23:10 PM
If IDEX requires KYC then It's no better than centralized exchange, Centralized exchange at least are better provider of liquidity. I guess I'd have to use something that truly is a DEX, Currently leaning towards AtomicDEX, I hope it wouldn't disappoint me.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: stablecoin on: July 19, 2019, 05:28:55 AM
In my opinion the most reliable stablecoin is Theter(USDT).
Because this coin has already listed on CMC and has a big marketcapital.
I think it's not that reliable, I've seen it get in trouble from time to time. So, It's better not to keep USDT for too long. There are many stablecoins now, Some are backed by big players for instance USDC(Coinbase). If you want to hold FIAT for long it would best to spread it out between various stablecoins.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cross Chain Compatibility on: July 18, 2019, 12:39:54 PM
The blockchain ecosystem is in dire need for cross chain comparability and a few projects are popping up on the horizon. Live platforms that I am aware of include Cosmos and Nuls but I know Polkadot is in the works as are a few other projects. Which ones are you most excited for? Which platforms should I become aware of?
AtomicDEX is revolutionary! Atomic swaps have never been easier, Sign up at atomicdex.io for invitation to give it a try. Check reviews on Twitter, People are amazed by AtomicDEX.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO becomes successful = ETH will moon? on: July 15, 2019, 03:15:57 PM
as we see now many project are using IEO system to collect funds from investors and I feel IEO is very popular at the moment, besides that I also see a lot of IEO that are currently successful, therefore I am sure that the price of ETH will definitely increase too if many project use blockchain from Ethereum (ERC-20). because as we know in 2017, where ETH prices increase very high due to ICO very popular and successful, so if this year IEO will experience the same thing as ICO in 2017 (popular and successful) then it will make ETH prices increase again (bull run).

I think BNB will benefit the most with IEOs not ETH, IEOs on Binance aren't issuing ERC-20 tokens but are using BNB's BEP to issue tokens. I've heard many ERC-20 tokens are migrating to BEP, This probably means ETH ICOs reign is over.
208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark Yusko: Bitcoin can go up to $ 30,000 without correction on: July 15, 2019, 02:57:05 PM
$30000 without any correction? From current price 200% increase is needed for it to happen, Bitcoin is not an altcoin that could pull off 200% without any pull backs. It'll happen but not in one stretch!
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: Tell me what to buy with 212k USD and I'll do it and post screenshots on: July 14, 2019, 03:12:39 PM
Don't get invested in too many coins, Maybe just 5-7. I think you should do the research by yourself, If you ask us our opinions we'll only shill the coins we own!!
210  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinsplit.io Free alternative? on: July 14, 2019, 02:49:36 PM
I don't know maybe this would be helpful! https://github.com/Initscri/BTC-Split-Script--PHP-
It's a PHP script that I found on Github, It's based on Blockchain.info wallet, Everything is explained or has comments which might be helpful in editing the script as per your need.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: July 13, 2019, 05:35:33 PM
Why is WST not listed on stock exchanges?
I have no idea what WST is. Or is it VST? If it indeed is VST then it probably will be listed on other exchanges after public sale is completed, Right now WavesDEX is only place one can trade it.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TEM] Temtum - Ultra lightweight, quantum secure decentralised network. on: July 13, 2019, 05:27:12 PM
It is just an infant project, and its network just activated recent days. There is no reason to hurry too much and ask for instant success just days after its network activation. Temtum is a good project, but it actually needs more time to mature and grow. I think that we need to give the project and their team around 2 quarters (till the end of this year) to show their capability to develop Temtum.
Temtum is already fully developed, It's not like other IEOs or ICOs trying to collect money to build the tech. TEM has a lot of advantages compared to other blockchains, Adoption is what's needed for TEM to succeed.
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you like to see Bitcoin prize stable between 10K-20K? on: July 13, 2019, 04:28:50 AM
Do you like to see Bitcoin prize stable between 10K-20K? or keep this pattern and behave like in past? 20K - 3K. I personally like to see bitcoin stable between 10K-20K. So everyone will happy for the situation.Open for discussion.
I would prefer Bitcoin to become stable not at current price but at higher value like $50k+ . I don't see this happening though anytime soon, Bitcoin price will keep on fluctuating until it's regulated or when every product is priced in sats.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: July 11, 2019, 05:14:25 PM
REMINDER: Beginning tomorrow, July 8, 2019 at 9:00 AM EST, US citizens, domiciliaries or users from US IPs will no longer be able to use Bancor’s web application, http://bancor.network, to convert tokens. Users can still access, hold, and transfer tokens.
Read more here:
https://ban.cr/US-ServiceRestriction

Will we be allowed to use a VPN connection to access the exchange? Or VPNs connection will also be blocked for bancor in the future?
This restriction applies to all US citizens and domiciliaries, regardless of whatever IP-blocking technology may be used.

Ouch, that's gotta hurt their user-base a bit IMO.  Any idea what percentage of bancor's user was from the USA? And what about Canada will this restriction also affect Canadians or for now it's just US of A?
It's only for individuals from US, It's not only Bancor that will be blocking US users other big exchanges like Binance,Bittrex etc..are going to do the same. I would just hope things get back to normal.

Yes, first US citizens were barred from joining most of the ICOs/IEOs and now the exchanges are not providing them a platform to trade on, it would be great if bancor also launches bancorUS like binance is going to do.
Yeah that would be great! But only a handful of tokens will be traded there, Which is still better than nothing. Let's see how things go in couple of months.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from online mobile wallets with no backup phrase on: July 11, 2019, 03:23:09 AM
Not all mobile wallets have backup ,just because they are available for your smartphone doesnt mean they are reliable
Do not use mobile wallets with just username and passwords ,they are called online wallets ,they have no backup phrase or private keys.
For example I lost my bitcoin to xapo wallet since 2018 and they denied me of my coins after sending them mails.
I used to use those "online wallet" when I was a beginner. Now I only use hardware wallet, It provides absolute security! Online wallet are best for storing small funds to use it for spending.

217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Decentralized Fog Computing on: July 10, 2019, 05:35:38 PM
Sorry was not much active here but I heard someone mentioning that SONM is planning to switch to the binance chain can someone please confirm whether is true or fake news? If it's true then is there any ETA for that?
Thanks

Hello,

The plans are not switching to the Binance Chain, but integration with it.

You can find information in our new roadmap: https://sonm.com/blog/sonm-roadmap/

Binance chain with gate masternodes

Many solutions already implemented in Sonm are ahead of many alternative projects. Now we decided to integrate with Binance chain:

This will make SNM available on Binance DEX.
We see great value in cooperating with a leading world crypto-world financial institution, which Binance is. Stronger the relationship – better for SNM token, more options for token holders.

This work is progress and we plan to cover it in a separate article.

Binance chain solution will have the first implementation of public gate masternodes. After Binance chain integration will be launched – gate masternodes will be activated, the community will be able to establish gate masternodes.

Best regards,
Sonm support team
So, SONM tokens will be interchangeable? But if I want to use any of the services I would still need SONM ERC-20? I'm waiting more information on this.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]❁ KORE Tor Masternodes, Browser, VoIP, Aether OS, KOREPhone, KOREbay Funded on: July 09, 2019, 05:10:35 PM
Is there any chance of this decision of Bittrex's being reversed?
Yes, They can revise their plan of delisting. We, However have to transition from centralized exchanges to a decentralized ones. Centralized exchanges can do whatever they want, like delisting whenever or whatever coin they want. AtomicDEX is what will change everything, We'll be able to swap between multiple chains directly with other people. Decentralized exchange is future!!
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: WINGS ★ Where DAO Unicorns Are Born! ★ Token launched! on: July 08, 2019, 05:46:46 AM
There are rumors that the next delisting that will be arranged by bittrex will be this token. It surprises me at all that he is still trading there.
With such "successful results" which the token shows over the last year, it is surprising that he is still there. Let's see what the team will come up with led by stas oskin.

Team said they're in contact with Bittrex, Though anything can happen. Basically anyone holding now should write their investment off.

According to rumors, have you closed your office? It's true? And if so, how many people you have left in the team (if I correctly understood you fired some).
Is that really the rumor and help the team make clarification so that everything is clear and not confused, and about your question, maybe you should be patient and wait for an answer from his team

It's true! Admin from russian telegram chat confirmed that the office was closed
They moved their office somewhere else if I remember correctly.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop glorifying centralized exchanges. on: July 08, 2019, 04:26:33 AM
But there re not so many good DEXes btw..
You only need one. There's one coming out soon called AtomicDEX, It's still in beta. I have signed up.. Waiting to get accepted to try it out. What's cool is you can do Atomic swaps on your phone.
