1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Cryptocurrency on: February 11, 2015, 04:24:57 PM
Hello,

I just launched my own cryptocurrency on coincreator.net but I have some questions:

1) After downloading the sources and the window binaries, what are the next steps ?
2) How do I mine these coins ? Can I use my Antminer to mine them ?

If the coin's algo is SHA-256 then yes you can mine with your Antminer. However you need to have client running on 2 different PC/IP to be able to mine coins.

1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: February 08, 2015, 08:17:35 PM
Stellar will serve as a useful warning to anyone else who thinks they know how to do crypto better than Ripple.

I feel sorry, not for Stellar, but for the folks who lost their money.

People who lost their money!? It is up 70% from where I bought in before. They also have tons of good devs on the team. Btc giveaway has been delayed until they update their protocol. After this the giveaway will start. In my opinion this is a great time to get in before the big announcement.

It takes more than just "good devs" to get mainstream adoption.

Compared to other organisations, Stellar is dwarfed (money, people, connections).

Stellar tried to apply the stripe.com "formula" to Ripple's codebase. It isn't working. And I cannot see what strategy the management team have to do anything about it.

If they do the giveaway I think people will dump and crash the price.
Price will rise again after the dump no doubt.

I've generated a deposit address, but have not invested, yet, because I can't get the Sendcoin wallet to sync.  I am stuck on block 10003.  Are there nodes or a recommended config file available?

so with Zenminer shutting up shop I am a bit concerned abaout Scrypt.cc.  I dont have a huge investment here but I have been very happy to date with the reliability of the site.

I notice that the forum on Scrypt.cc is not working, is it just me?  It just takes you to the dashboard/users page.

A little concerning if they have taken the forum offline?
I don't use Scrypt.cc anymore, But i just tried to visit the forum and it redirects me to Scrypt.cc.

No Coinurl is not a scam website. Are those clicks legitimate? i mean if you're using some traffic exchange service then you'll not be paid.
