Fergie, or Beyonce: Won't the other women point and laugh because they were sooooo Spring 2011, and Spring/Summer 2012 is already out? Isn't that amazing about some women, that they want something just because it is expensive and marketeers tell them they want it, not because of it's physical properties? Example: my now ex-girlfriend saying she didn't want a lab-created diamond, she must have the cartel-controlled strip-mined version of that carbon polymorph, even though she wouldn't have been able to tell a diamond from a zirconia. Nordstrom Designer Specialist: 1-877-543-7463 I bet she walks as close as possible to any parked car she sees so she has something to grab onto if and when she begins to topple over.

Things you missed include:
1) Rally from $2 in November to $7.50 2) Snowball liquidation down to the low $4's from $7 in about 5 minutes due to Bitcoinica (with help from its limited reserves -- the 'asterisk' on the buy side has proven to be a rally killer) 3) Bitcoin featured in the episode of The Good Wife, "Bitcoin for Dummies" 4) Matthew N. Wright is releasing the first issue of the Bitcoin Magazine soon 5) TradeHill shut down all trading 6) BIP 16 vs. BIP 17 implementation is on the horizon 7) Etotheipi (sp?) is working on an amazing-looking new Bitcoin client/wallet called 'Armory' 8 ) New 'scam' Bitscalper appears to have taken hundreds of BTC from risk-taking (or stupid) investors 9) Atlas is back ("Boss") 10) SolidCoin still sucks

I sometimes listen dubstep but not in that reason that others.. im listening it cause is reminds me about old modem sound back in late 80's
Dubstep is for rap enthusiasts who think they're sophisticated.

I'm auctioning address space in my signature. The spaces to be used will be where my donation address and Bitcoinpyramid links are.
Bids are per-week. For example, if you bid .5 BTC, your advertisement will remain in my signature for a minimum of 7 days. After those 7 days, I will auction that space again, but I will not remove your advertisement unless someone else bids to replace it. So, your advertisement could be there for much longer than you pay for.
Bids to replace the donation address begin at .3 BTC with increments of .05 BTC.
Bids to replace the Bitcoinpyramid link begins at .4 BTC with increments of .05 BTC.
There is no end to this auction. I will take the first offer that I like. Payment is due up front, and only then will I place your advertisement in my signature.

How do I modify the .BAT files to allow me to mine solo?
I know it's port 9332, but what should I put for the url, username, and userpass?
You should use the values of "rpcuser" and "rpcpassword" from your litecoin.conf file. For the URL you should use the IP of the machine that is running litecoind; if you're using just one machine, the default value ( http://127.0.0.1:9332/) should do. Where's the litecoin.conf file? Do I have to create this? I've been pool-mining just fine. You need to have the Litecoin client running if you want to mine solo. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=47417.0(coblee's post contains all the info about the litecoin.conf file.) No luck so far... I created the litecoin.conf file and I changed only the rpcuser and rpcpassword values. Then, I edited one of my .BAT files and tried both my own IP address and http://127.0.0.1:9332/ as the URL, and I switched the user and password values to match the ones in the .conf file. I tried to open the BAT file to run the miner (with Litecoin-QT open) and it says "HTTP request failed: couldn't connect to host" and "json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds." I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Any ideas? Edit: Well, I think I fixed it. I'm actually not 100% sure how I fixed it. I think what happened is I was editing some of the files (the .bat, the .conf) but I didn't restart Litecoin-QT after making changes to these files. When I restarted Litecoin-QT, it allowed me to connect to the host. Sweet Let's see if I can repeat the process on my other computer with similar results. Important Your config should have : rpcpassword=<YOUR VERY SECRET PASSWORD> rpcuser=<user> rpcport=9332 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 (if you connect only from localhost) than use : minerd --url http://127.0.0.1:9332 --userpass <user>:<YOUR VERY SECRET PASSWORD> config should have : Question: Is the password really that important when mining from the local client? YES !! with this password and rpcallowip=* anyone can make transactions with your wallet. can steal your coins. Good to know lol.

Here's what I would do if I were you (assuming I had no extra funds to invest): Mine litecoins. Keep em, save em, store em. Take $5 and buy 1 Bitcoin, or (in about 2-3 weeks) take 100 mined litecoins and sell them for .1 BTC. Save that, and store it.
Then wait 10-20 years and see if you're wealthy.

Edit 2: 55 k/hash chuggin' away I hope I have the same luck flying solo as I did in the pool. I've only pooled in about 50 LTC but I solved 4 blocks already.

+1 BitcoinMint.US
I won two auctions that BitcoinMint.US hosted: One was for a 1 Oz. Silver American Eagle, the other was for a 1 gram Silver American Eagle.
I paid first and the silver arrived quickly, packed individually in bubble wrap with the 1 oz. piece in a very nice air-tight case, and the 1 gram in a small, clear ziplock bag.
I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and would love to do business again!

Well, with the current withdrawal options, TradeHill will end up effectively stealing $2.04 of mine. I don't care about the amount. But if you have <$5 in there, you can kiss it goodbye.

Thank you for all your help ^^ I just really hope i dont fk this graphics card up >.<
Over-volting and temperatures are what kill your card the fastest. Keep your temps low, keep your fans as low as temperatures permit, don't touch your voltage, and don't overclock it unless you know what you're doing. But, learn the healthy overclock ranges so you can get a boost in m/hash if you want. Overclocking raises the temperature, though. Oh, you CAN under-volt as long as it runs stable, but under-volt too low and you won't get as many m/hash. This will also lower temps.

Sorry for being a bother but one more thing to ask: my card only went down to 500 minimum, when i put 300 it bumped it to 500 - is that still fine? it was originally at 1000.
500 is not bad at all. That should reduce temperatures quite a bit and will draw less energy. It might even help out your m/hashes slightly. Alright thanks (: It didnt do much to the temp really, its still ranging between 74 and 77, but it rose the hash by 3 or 4 ^^ What's your fan % at?
