Just received my dragon miner today. It was sent by lee on the 8th april and got here on the 12th april to my door in New Zealand. Very fast and went straight through customs with no charges at all  It only took me 5 minutes to get it going, I only had to change the gateway to 192.168.1.254, netmask to 255.255.255.0, difficulty to 32 and put in my miner settings plug in the power and network and it was away Interface is all english as well. Straight up to 1.06 /ths and it says the same in my miner stats on ghash.io Its running a lot quieter than the Avalon 110 I had here before, about the same noise as 2 ants... Temps are ok so far as well. Very happy so far with it. Thanks for the fast delivery and service pcfli, I would buy off you again anytime !! here is my opinion ROI analysis Many people make decision whether the miner is worthy to buy on ROI analysis , and i will share my thought on it with you. First, you need to consider the following two questions: is the mining itself will disappear after six month? What is the speed of the fastest miner can perform after six month and what is its price? I will give you my answer to these question. is the mining itself will disappear after six month? The answer is definitely no, only if the bitcoin exist, no reason that mining itself will disappear, and like most of the people in the forum, i have strong faith on bitcoin. What is the speed of the fastest miner can perform after six month and what is its price? I can’t tell you the exactly number of that, but my answer is not exceed 2T with the electricity consumption of 1000 watt, during the last one year, with the appearance of ASIC, the hash rate you can gain with 1000 watt has increased from 6G to 1000G. But it is almost the best value we can achieve based on current technology. Although i am not an professional electrical engineer, i can see that the increase of the hash rate of the chips are closely connected with its manufacturing technology, which have been increased from 110nm to 28nm by now. But as i know, it is almost achieve the limit of current chip manufacturing technology also the limit of physical law. Although 20 nm manufacturing technology is possible but the cost will also increase rapid and may be not worth to use. So we can achieve the conclusion that the life time will more than 6 month. Now we can go forward to the second question here, what is its price. I cann’t answer this question exactly also, but i does know that its price will not below its manufacturing cost. That is very simple to understand, the factory have no reason to sell them unless they can profit. As i know, the manufacturing cost for one dragon 1T miner will not below 1000$(chip, psu, Raspberry Pi, fans, shipment fee, all these thing need cost and will not disappear) . Now we can go back to the ROI analysis, for most of the roi analysis, it will assume one miner will only have 2-3 month life, but based on above analysis, we can see that will not happen, so there is must something wrong with the current ROI analysis. Here is my third question, what is the the most possible number(in %) of the adjustment of difficulty for one round (12 days) in Oct 2014? I will give my answer later, but now, i want to hear your guys opinion |

I would like to respectfully request you post your hardware driver's custom modifications to the cgminer source code as per the agreed upon license when you chose to develop on cgminer.
Sorry, CK, i will transfer your opinion to the factory owner, but i canot promise anything, However, they did said they will let user to change frequency and other cgminer related factors into the controller windows, they said they just want to make the interface as simple as possible, i one ask them type both the chinese and english into the interface, but they prefer to choose two version because of that will make windows too complex, another issue is about the chip, it seems like when it runs at high frequencey, it will lead to many HW error, maybe they donot want to user destoryed the chip by over-clocking It would be great to have an update on this - has the source code been released to ckolivas? Also, has lketc provided the information on how to overclock the miner? Pcfli some time ago I believe you stated that an lketc engineer wanted compensation ($$) to unlock miners? Is it possible that their hesitancy to release the source code is tied to a desire to squeeze extra revenue from an unlocking option?  Also, just in general, where should we be looking for firmware updates for the miner? the over-clock can only be performed on the earliest type with 40 chips inside, it is impossible for the current version with 32 chips because it is already over-clocked, as for the open source, they didnot want to open it right now, at least in the near future, because they donot want to the competition get the driver code. |

Got my miner today. Had to reseat the ribbon cable going to the ethernet adapter. All loaded well once I did that.
Question. Where are people mining? I recall seeing references to using BTCGuild due to some issue with the difficulty. I am trying to mine at Eligius and I can't seems to get the pool to recognize the hashrate. The miner is reporting 1000+ GHs but it is not reflected in the Eliguis pool stats. Any thoughts?
In the interim I am going to try BTCGuild.
I was having issue with eligius too. Never have issue with any other miners. The Dragon seem very finicky. Eligius seem to have been having some issues the past few days. I'm running the Dragon on eligius, but I'm going to have to keep a eye on it to make sure the hash rate starts showing properly on the pool. Eligius may take couple of hours to show full hashrate. Look at 12hours average and 3hours average to estimate your miner speed. I am mining on Eligius since 2013 and it's fine. Eligius is 0% fee and 105% PPS of Namecoin. See my post below from the eligius thread. I seen some mention of it on this page, have the stats been choking lately? I just added a new miner a few hours ago and pool side G/H are like 1% what cgminer is reporting. My other miners that have been running are showing proper for the most part, although they are down a few hundred G/H.
More side effects of the continual DDOS attacks. Actual earnings are unaffected. M Doesn't seem that way for me. I had a few hour power outage over night. All miners '22 minute' and below averages were 0. Everything is back up and the new miner is still showing Only %1 pool side hash rate of what cgminer is reporting, while the rest of the miners are showing the correct hash rate. Any ideas? Maybe my difficulty is set wrong? Thought the pool controlled that? i have a same problem here, one of the miner just cannot mine in eligius pool, although i can see its speed is 1000G locally, it seems like the local time shown in miner is wrong and maybe the problem |

Got my 3 miners. Two of them had to be opened up to fix loose cables. One to the ethernet, and the other to the blade. After that the miners started working and are hashing away just under 1th for the last 2 hours. These ones had different subnet mask and gateway IPs that i had to set that were different than my first batch of dragons. Just in case anyone has issues, check those fields. Have you got any pics or how to set these up as i have 3 units on their way and no idea with asic mining!!! How do you set each miner its own ip address ?? Can you just stack them on top of each other ? Do they need space 'behind' the unit for cooling/airflow ?? I can n ot find ANY info at all  ?? Cheers i will send you an instruction, but i donot recommend you stack your 3 miner together, that would be too close to cooling, |

i am negotiating with lketc with a new re-sell price, and if it works i will set my price as the same as you can buy at www.lketc.com, and promise shorter delivery time, what is the delivery time you need now when you purchase the miner directly from lketc lketc delivers worldwide on 3 days, can you beat that? if it is the case, i will directly use their delivery method, that would be great, when i use them last time, it take nearly 7 days to deliver the miner to usa, and i have to pay 0.1 btc each day for delay, and make me no profit at all |
