With all the measures we cannot protect ICOs from dump and we should not to do so. This is a free market and investors will decide what is their best interest. Of course projects should to do everything to convince their investors that they are doing everything in the best interest of the project.
There are no proper short ways to measure the usability scale of ICOs. Strong teams can deliver the promises but sometimes strong background can not resist to market trend. Price discovery is main tool to convince new investors. |

I always choose other methods for storing my crypto especially my bitcoins. Cryptopia is not A class exchange and they always delay withdrawals no matter how much you want to cash out. Hope hacked exchanges will be able to gave back losses to customers. |

Probably, it was simply a joke. I cannot even imagine that such a story could happen in reality. Yes, I know some people are ready to sell their vehicles to buy crypto, but it is not acceptable in this case. Weren't there like a few guys who sold their houses to buy BTC? So I wouldn't rule out that it's serious... Depending on which month they did it, it was a pure gamble. Still is if you do it now  They simply gamble with their life savings for getting bigger amounts. This decisions don't look like smart decisions.. Selling house for buying more crypto? Come on.. I still believe that Ethereum can show its great market rate again. The ocndition of the ETH price is now very annoying. But, this is the time for me to buy more coin. Because I think that ETH can have better price again. This is not about the value today, but the worth of the future with this altcoin.
Eth is best alternative compared to eos and neo. Chinese guys want to take leadership but money doesn't talk here(sometimes it does). Competitive market rates don't let quantity go over than quality. |

I rarely start topics, but today I want to share some knowledge about crypto projects in Gibraltar and hear your thoughts on this matter. Gibraltar is among those rare countries that welcome not only crypto exchanges and other established blockchain projects, but also ICOs. They have a very brief law that regulates cryptocurrencies. It's an interesting one, because it does not even mention cryptos, but focuses on 'distributed ledger technology providers'. In essence, each crypto project has to obtain a DLT license to operate legally in the country. While obtaining it is pretty costly (about $15k to get it and $10k+ per year to keep it), it guarantees legal activity which is both good for reputation and saves from random lawsuits, charges and scam accusations. The 10% income tax also has to be payed.
The main benefit is that you are operating legally. It can also simplify things like listing fiat currencies on the exchange. The main downside is that it doesn't come free.

The future of one's success usually more determined by the morality of our own decisions and that we can start from now. In the face of the crypto market whose condition is getting more critical as it is today, more likely to lean towards things we don't expect than we expect. For those who are not strong enough to deal with it, they often end their investment and trade tragically namely by how to sell all of their BTC, and the worse they don't care even though the price of BTC falls, I think this action is like suicide. All my savings are currently in BTC and all I can safe in future will go into BTC as well.
I will NEVER return my money into a bank. I have no any intention to ask 3 to 5 days before a large cash-out, to pay taxes when I do receive MY money into "my" bank account, to pay taxes to STORE MY money in "my" bank account, to pay taxes to use their terrible internet banking to operate with MY money, to pay additional taxes for various transactions, to pay ridiculous fees for every paypal transaction and/or withdrawal, to wait a week for approval on a large transactions..
I have no any intention to get surprised one day with a bank account locked without notice; with transaction blocked by some reason, with funds frozen because some someone decided the origin is "unclear"..

I do not care if the price of BTC goes to $1 or ¢1, it`s enough if I will be able to operate with it for every single purchase and for all of my needs. Untill that day comes I will never return MY money into a bank! If all I have become to a value of ¢1, it`s fine! I will have MY ¢1 FOR REAL, instead of unclear value is someone else`s bank system, created in order fiat owners to make more fiat only because they already have fiat.
I'm happy to hear the words of someone who has very high spirits like you, hopefully what you say can arouse people's enthusiasm and be able to break their anxieties because of the falling BTC prices. Hodl is not strategy even,noone can use it properly till today for getting profit. Markets also dont care about you and your positions. Such a small world... |

Well, I guess the main reason why people should invest in bitcoin is the price and money. In addition to that, you should invest in bitcoin becuae it will help you to make and earn more money.
