Having some issues with the upgrade to the latest mpos - as the upgrade has been overdue for some time and it's necessary to fix the payouts. Likely we will have to do a proportionate payout from the wallet so we will need estimates of users' average hashrates for the duration of the payout suspension, then we will have a fresh up-to-date pool on the current protocol which may require a new account setup unfortunately due to changes in the SQL. Should be up and running in the next day or so.

Ha! Your dad is advanced! Both sites are now back up but miners haven't autoswitched. The payout issue is yet to be resolved but as before it's still working, just need to fix the one erroneous block which has stopped the other payouts. Planning to give it some time tomorrow

Awesome work on the new pool guys. I have been extrememly busy over the last few days so apologies for the radio silence. Basshash hashrate has continued to contribute to the network hashrate throughout this payment freeze so I can assure you all that payments will catch up as soon as the problem has been fixed, I have been in touch with the pool developer today so hope to see a resolution very soon.

In the meantime please everyone be aware that we are on a new github repo at carboncointrust/carboncoincore which we needed to create to make all of the changes necessary with the rollover to 0.9.1 - we want to get majority hashpower on that as soon as is convenient - the basshash hashpower has just dropped so it is fine to just activate this at the new pool and the rest will follow.

Those that haven't yet please also download a new wallet from the new website www.carboncoin.cc. I am going to get everything on these and the ANN threads updated tomorrow as well as making the first round of payments from the development/bounties wallet.


ADD: Solar roadways looks fun - perhaps we could approach them to accept payments in Carboncoin for starters? Speaking of which - we have an "accepted here" sign now finished too which I will also put up here tomorrow.

Hi I was not referring to you with my comment at all! A misunderstanding - although while I'm here you might consider being a little more sporting - if you believe a coin to be the best then you can obviously just say so without being negative about the others. I hope you were not worried.

Yep it was, but dont worry everything regarding coin is fine. API is still active and running as usual. The software used for the blockchain is just like any other wallet, i.e. if it goes down it doesn't mean any more to the network than someone's computer crashing with an open wallet.

We have a secondary blockchain under construction and hopefully more will follow.



ADD: Also the new branding is being put onto carbonchain presently and then we will have everything aligned & ready
