61  Other / Off-topic / Re: Celebration when price hits 420 on: May 06, 2014, 12:16:15 PM
Price changes so often I'm not even sure how we should determine daily price change.

From speculation point of view many people could made at least 100$ on every bitcoin invested
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Devastation on: May 06, 2014, 12:08:12 PM
I never fully trusted economic theories, especially those new ones. Hip and dramatic.

After all, any theory like those has some kind of holes inside. It only goes down to how big gaps they are.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: China Banning BTC. Any thoughts for the soul especially the mind? on: May 06, 2014, 12:05:16 PM
China banned BTC so many times this year I don't even care any more.

Any way, entire volume of china will move abroad (in internet world it is nothing special, just different url address).

Situation is changing every day but from what I notice it is just same situation over and over again.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is "WE" not "I". on: May 06, 2014, 12:01:07 PM
I don't think usage of we or I is important or any kind of proof. In the long run it can only show that he or them or whatever might be or might not be attending some kind of school.

But yeah, I wont be surprised if after some time there will be some cheese movie about it.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: May 06, 2014, 11:14:03 AM
Well I guess it depends. Right now it is definitely  hard to determine. If China would calm down a bit in next few weeks definitely it wont be that much.

But you can always leave in smaller town
66  Other / Off-topic / Re: what to do with large amounts of cash? on: May 06, 2014, 11:07:40 AM
If you would have large enough cash you could consider payout in more bitcoin friendly countries.

USA is weird right now. Maybe after some time they are going to chill.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicting uptrend now underway from bottom reached on April 11 on: May 06, 2014, 11:06:06 AM
Well good that someone is still speculating.

Price definitely is going to change and everything is going to start in China.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: The solution is obvious on: May 06, 2014, 10:38:29 AM
No one cares about is it 0,000... or not.

In informatic everything will change one way or another.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has The Bitcoin Foundation lost its fuckin' mind... on: May 06, 2014, 10:28:58 AM
We can not put any kind of presume on this foundation. It is their foundation and to be honest best thing we can do is to ignore it or create alternative one.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More New Bitcoin ATM Machines Appering Each Day Around the Globe on: May 05, 2014, 08:11:03 AM
ATM machines are important part of adapting bitcoin to global market.

After all, half of revolutions starts from bottom.
71  Other / Off-topic / Re: Donald Sterling Racism Controversy on: May 05, 2014, 08:04:43 AM
I don't think age justifies racism in any form. On other hand racism controversies happens daily in professional sports. Real problem is I don't think this  "ban" would be legal one way or another. I bet people are just pissed since he was talking about Magic Johnson.

magic has already stated that he is open to the idea of purchasing the clippers. and there are rumors that oprah will team up with larry elison (i think he's the guy who made his fortune from oracle) to buy the clippers.

According to Forbes, Oprah Winfrey's net worth is around $3 billion. She could buy the LA Clippers on her own, without any partnership with other billionaires such as Larry Ellison.

she would need to sell big part of her business first. I bet she doesn't keep necessary amount of money to buy it in cash.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets sponsorhip something cool! on: May 05, 2014, 08:01:37 AM
Instead of sponsorship better idea is to just use it and adopt it at your business.

On other hand marketing and PR work wonders on dogecoin.
73  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-05-04]cryptocrimson: CNBC to Host Conference On Bitcoin on: May 05, 2014, 07:59:16 AM
Is it same conference as already announced or is there going to be a lot of conferences that month?

Well I hope it would work out fine, no idea how CNBC is going to approach the topic though.
74  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-05-04] Bitprize: The North American Bitcoin Conference on: May 05, 2014, 07:57:52 AM
It would look better if they would place bitcoin price on front, not $.

But hey, more vents, more publicity. Any one is going for this one ?
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: May 05, 2014, 07:54:12 AM
Dogecoin marketing and PR is more effective then any one could expect. Recently I notice I can read about dogecoin in all kind of random places in internet. I just can't wait to see what would be next.
76  Bitcoin / Press / Re: Richard Stallman to Speak at the Central European Bitcoin Conference in Vienna on: May 05, 2014, 07:50:46 AM
We need more conferences so that people would talk to each other in different way then through the internet.

I think it is very important and I hope there will be more events like this one in future.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FinCen: "Bitcoin will be in top 20 currencies" Crypto to kill SWIFT within 3 yrs on: May 05, 2014, 07:49:32 AM
Being in top 20 currencies list is always good. Even if it would take 20 years.

After all, we are still only early adopters. Even though there were great growth of bitcoin world in recent years, there is still a lot of place to expand.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dark Wallet: The Excuse Regulators Needed on: May 05, 2014, 07:45:38 AM
I was not aware of the fact that regulators need excuses to regulate something.

But if this is the case we can blame all the regulating-bullshit on Amir, can't we?

AMIR, ALL THE REGULATING-EFFORTS TO COME ARE ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT!

Joe

Without proper brainwashing no one would vote on patriotic act so I guess there always need to be some kind of excuse. Even when it is rather insignificant.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the reality of bitcon adoption on: May 05, 2014, 07:44:09 AM
Real estate usually requires some bank services.

Interesting would be to use bitcoin transaction as alternative to bank ones. This way they would be able to cut some prices.

Only problem is they need clients who would like it.
80  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Buying foie gras from France in bitcoin on: May 05, 2014, 07:42:42 AM
Is it true that there is horrific torture to the animal?
Sorry to ask, but the media here wasn't friendly or appetizing.

If you consider pipe down your throat a torture.
