121  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Best & Secure Android Wallet for ANDROID on: February 23, 2015, 08:59:40 AM
I am still using blockchain.info wallet on android. It is very basic but works. I mainly use it to display an address QR code for bitcoin ATMs.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch bitcoin on CNN right now on: February 20, 2015, 09:46:28 AM
It did not say much about the bitcoin technology. At least it is not negative, so people who watched it will not be scared away. We need more coverage on bitcoin on CNN and Bloomberg like this one.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Full node. on: February 20, 2015, 08:26:21 AM
Register your node here https://getaddr.bitnodes.io/nodes/incentive/ you might get some bitcoin out of it.

Never heard of this! Running a node gets you a lottery ticket to win $10. Not bad.
124  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why isis kill people because they are different? on: February 17, 2015, 04:19:24 PM
They do not care what is right or wrong, they kill to get attention. They will take pride when they force a government to comply with their terms but none do.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who cares if Bitcoin goes mainstream? on: February 17, 2015, 03:57:15 PM
I want bitcoin to go mainstream to challenge the banking system. We want bitcoin to succeed just to prove we are able to see the potential right from the beginning when the majority is dismissing it. I am not supporting bitcoin for profit, I have too little to matter.
126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 41 minutes for a new block, difficulty wayyy too hard on: February 17, 2015, 03:40:12 PM
The difficulty is a direct result of network hashing power and a bit of luck. Instead of saying difficulty is way to hard, we should say there are way too much hashing power.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the longest you have waited for one confirmation?? on: February 17, 2015, 03:21:23 PM
I don't usually sit and wait for confirmations. I will check back an hour later and transactions are always confirmed.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Eventually Kill Facebook? on: February 12, 2015, 12:16:35 PM
Facebook is dying with or without bitcoin. Facebook is about keeping in touch and communication, and they are failing to do that with their stupid ads and email spam.
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who bought this latest dead cat? on: February 12, 2015, 08:35:58 AM
I do not watch the price much. I buy a small amount of bitcoin periodically. Bought at dip, bought at bounce, bought at peak. Done all that. Dead cat or not, in a few years I will be glad I bought bitcoin when it is as cheap as now.
130  Other / Off-topic / Re: Windows 10 coming to PI 2 on: February 12, 2015, 07:03:35 AM
It must be. The specs on the new one are quite impressive. It's six times faster with a quad core processor and 1g of memory. Worth trying for the price.

I looked at the pi2 specs and the price, I was shocked. Around the same price as pi1 and 6x cpu power. This is a fantastic piece of gear to toy around with.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 confirmations is not enough on: February 12, 2015, 06:54:14 AM
While the attacking pool trys to mine 6 block to reverse the transaction, the main chain is also mining. The attacking pool needs double the hash rate of the main chain to achieve this attack Or be very lucky. Too risky for any pool to try.
132  Other / Off-topic / Re: Windows 10 coming to PI 2 on: February 11, 2015, 08:51:09 AM
Is Pi2 going to be powerful enough for full Windows 10? I think it is going to be a slim down version of Windows, like RT on surface.
133  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain Wallet Hacked and Bitcoins Stolen on: February 11, 2015, 06:34:23 AM
How about the email account with a previous backup of your wallet? If hackers have your old wallet backup, they can extract your private keys.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonald’s might start accepting Bitcoin soon on: February 11, 2015, 06:25:36 AM
It is plausible McDonalds' will start to accept bitcoin in selected stores in major countries as a marketing campaign. We know that global sales are dropping and they need a new breed of customers.
135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info strange behavior on: February 06, 2015, 07:47:18 AM
Didn't some members here have their blockchain wallet hacked because they were using tor? Other members here said accessing wallet through tor is not safe anymore. Use a paid VPN instead.
136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: large fiat withdrawals from Bitstamp on: February 06, 2015, 07:38:55 AM
I know bitstamp also need to verify your ID before letting you withdraw fiat. You might get away with KYC policy if you withdraw ripple. Split your coins into small piles and use a new account everytime could help.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do central banks attack bitcoin? on: February 06, 2015, 07:33:09 AM
Central banks have too much too worry about, like latest economic figures, fiat money supply interest rates, exchange rates. They do not care about bitcoin. They may warn people about bitcoin, not attack it.
138  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How much will i make a day with 336 mh/s? on: February 05, 2015, 07:00:32 AM
An old block eruptor will earn you less than 1000 satoshis a day. You will get more from faucets. It belongs in the museum.
139  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Are there any solutions to identify relay-ip of one tx like blockchain.info on: February 05, 2015, 06:56:20 AM
Will this relay IP gives some location information of the person who created the transaction? Some users are using tor just to hide that IP, are they wasting their effort?
