461  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: PrimeDice Happy Hour - 10,000 Satoshi/Min! for next hour! on: July 03, 2014, 09:31:53 AM
May be we should start a mailing list to notify people about PD happy hours  Grin
462  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-07-03] Draper: Bitcoin auction a 'vote of confidence' by U.S. government on: July 03, 2014, 09:23:24 AM
I think the auction has a ripple effect on other governments around the world too: It may be ok to accept bitcoin since US government is fine with it.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Title: Near Zero Bitcoin Transaction Fees Cannot Last Forever on: July 03, 2014, 09:14:18 AM
Low transaction fees is one of the strengths of bitcoin. If adoption increases, near zero fees can sum up to a good amount in every mined block. There is no real concern.
464  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it really profitable to start a bitcoin casino? on: July 02, 2014, 11:07:46 AM
Entire city is built in a desert because of casinos. I bet they are profitable. Before you start a bitcoin casino, think about security first. Your site will be a target for hackers every single day while it is running.
465  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Facebook reveals news feed experiment to control emotions on: July 02, 2014, 09:27:57 AM
Everyone should stop using facebook. These "researchers" are not observers anymore, they are actively blocking newsfeeds.
466  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Lowest Unique number Wins 0.0001 bitcoins on: July 02, 2014, 09:08:19 AM
How can you guess a unique number when the guesses are on an open forum?
467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Winklevoss ETF will list on NASDAQ as "COIN" on: July 02, 2014, 09:03:25 AM
The winklevoss bros are not going to loose money on this. Surely they will adjust the price later. If not, anyone who bought their IPO would enjoy a 5 fold gain on the first trading day.

469  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if the SR coins sell for $150-$200 over current market value? on: June 27, 2014, 08:26:18 AM
The bidders are professional. They will have a strategy on how much to bet for each lot. Successful bidders on the early lots will try to drive up the market rate for later lots, while unsuccessful bidders will do the opposite. We are in for a roller coaster ride.
470  Economy / Services / Re: ▶▶ Luckyb.it = SELL YOUR SIGNATURE = up to 0.1 BTC A MONTH = ENROLLMENT CLOSED on: June 26, 2014, 03:37:34 PM
Payment received. Thank you stingleword.

I will keep my signature for another day until my full month finishes.
471  Economy / Services / Re: ▶▶ Luckyb.it = SELL YOUR SIGNATURE = up to 0.1 BTC A MONTH = ENROLLMENT CLOSED on: June 26, 2014, 10:14:32 AM
My month with Luckyb.it will be over tomorrow. Should I expect the campaign to extend another month?
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in a bear trap? on: June 26, 2014, 10:07:12 AM
Things will clear up after the auctions. I am holding my coins for the eBay/paypal rally. May not be in July, but soon-ish.
473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin faucet as a form of punishment on: June 25, 2014, 10:05:32 AM
They are giving you free money, they have to get money from somewhere. I do not visit faucet sites anymore, newbies may find them worthwhile. It is your choice to visit them.
474  Other / Meta / Re: How should new members be treated? (Personally been treated wrong) ( User Vod) on: June 25, 2014, 09:43:12 AM
Stop whining and register a new account to start over. Learn from this and don't ask for a newbie loan without collateral. Think about it, would you lend money to a complete stranger on the street?
475  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Pruning on: June 25, 2014, 09:35:10 AM
I have read some discussions on a DHT blockchain, or a superblock, but nothing concrete has come out from them. I have switched to a light client for some time now, 20G is already too big for my computers to handle.
476  Economy / Gambling / Re: Just-Dice.com halts betting due to regulation on: June 24, 2014, 09:36:33 AM
Sorry to see just-dice go. Regulation is killing bitcoin. Have not read the new laws yet, will do soon. Let's see if it is a matter of tax or licence...
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin or any other mined coins won't work... on: June 24, 2014, 09:23:12 AM
All pools can collude now, we don't need to wait for that "day". When they start to do something that would hurt bitcoin, there will be other pools setup and miners can move their hash power.
478  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you hate government? on: June 23, 2014, 12:02:38 PM
I do not hate the government. I dislike the government leaders because I pay taxes to them but they pass laws and policies favourable to large corporations who continues to rip me off and make my life difficult.
479  Economy / Services / Re: I will redraw your photo to vector cartoon for 0.015 BTC on: June 23, 2014, 10:34:05 AM
Good work, 1echo! My friend was looking for something like this last week. I will tell him about your service.
480  Other / Off-topic / Re: Total Number of BTC Mined by Yourself on: June 23, 2014, 10:25:46 AM
You should also ask members to specify starting date and duration. If not the numbers are not going very useful to your stats project.
