Yeah it is. CCNCCN is in the regular Xtrabytes discord and in a shadow discord with team members from Xtrabytes and yet he chooses to post conversations and questions on here.
Why is that? Why not just ask in the Discord or shadow discord where he was having the conversation with Dan.
He just wants to spread shit about the project in as many places as possible.
A big Part of being a moderator or being in a support function is keeping your cool when people are upset even if you feel they are unfair or unreasonable not saying that's the case here but that's part of the job description in most cases. |

I'd be more worried about this wording: "...but the information they need is hosted on servers run by an Arizona company..."and "The liquidators are concerned that if they don't pay the Arizona company, Cryptopia's data could be overwritten or lost."This implies that Cryptopia don't have a local (or otherwise external) backup of their own data. if ever there is a bill to be paid that just accumulated for years/months, the exit scam was planned for a long time. because paying bills will be covered by cryptopia users and they rather keep the money. Just some random Twitter account throwing in the name Bloomberg without source or links so basicly nothing. Edit: Actually found it on the Bloomberg site .. well I guess cryptopia was their only customer because none will ever do business with them again. |

If 14% of their total holdings was hack, How come these thieves are saying there are not enough money to cover everyone's money! they already haircut people's balance to cover the losses in the hack.
Where's the remaining 86% money own by their customers? It means they are using people's deposit to fund their operation while collecting trading fees and listing fees. IN this case, They are all thieves and scammers, IMHO they should go to jail for their actions.

(I have deducted 14% BTC and 49% LTC). What is the reason why they became financially insolvent and decided to close the exchange, taking all the remaining money? They have running costs to operate the exchange the building people that work there server costs . when they closed for all those months they lost their customers trust so when they opened again not many people where trading so they could get income from fee's they saw the money trying to leave the exchange so they quit instead of working a little longer so everyone could have withdrawn their coins they just walked away. Also now the liquidators are securing all coins and checking funds .. hmm ok what the hell have they been doing all these months because that's exactly what cryptopia was telling us that they where doing at that time. |

That is prediction ? I think that is unlikely. They have indicated publicly that it will take some time to sort out. It is likely that they will seek specialist advise & court approval as to how to handle the liquidation. “Given the complexities involved we expect the investigation to take months rather than weeks.”
The liquidators are also working with independent experts and the relevant authorities with regards to the company’s obligations. I had funds on cryptopia that were not affected by the hack in anyway instead of just letting me withdraw my funds they are just doing this now.
I am not happy there was no reason for me to lose money lucky I did not have more on there at the time.
Yeah same .. also how do they plan to liquidator coins that where only listed on cryptopia the liquidator should just open the exchange and let us take out shit out. |

It's a difference like between night and day the way Binance deals with their incident and the way Cryptopia does. It's been a week and Binance already had three top-level announcements. And no sign of the police locking things down, figure that!
Yeah, it's a real strange world where the once with the most cash/funds can handle an event like that, while the smaller fish gets eaten. Must be a first in the history of the world. Like stated many times before you can do things that don't cost Money .. to help and reassure your customers .. and its not like they where tiny when they claim 230 million in funds. Turning off the computers and handing it over to the police while they should have been far more expert then the police on Crypto exchange matters makes No Sense At All. 4 months let me repeat 4 Fucking Months … Did the Cryptopia stockholders get paid this year ?
