Is it a **New Dev** or a "New Dev"? Are there one or more? You're tagged as part of a team of Hirocoin "Dev"'s, so was someone added or replaced?

I'm taking over as lead developer. I am also waiting on hearing back from some people who may be joining the development team also.

I have dropped the fee from http://omargpools.ca/hiros to 0%. This is to encourage miners to switch to a pool that is running on the newest client.

really ?

quote from you to cryptoglance dev , if you cant do php how the hell is this one man shop gonna make this coin relive ?

its been 1 week now since last post , nothing fixed, no block explorer, and still those bad blocks.

Are you serious ?

Sure, here's a screenshot. I also had some features I wanted to add to the
current app to support my pool, HiroPool.

I wanted to:
- include Hiropool.org/api as a supported pool option.
- Remove net hashrate and difficulty when HiroPool is selected to prevent
other from guessing which coin we're mining (protect profits)
- Call HiroPool's balance from Hiropool.org/hiro instead of HiroPool.org/api

If you could help me with those features it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm sure they would be quick edits but you'd know the code better than I do.

206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 5 gig scrypt miner scam ? on: November 07, 2014, 12:17:30 AM

if i take a look at that Rino lab 5 gig scam miner machine,

if i look at the pictures..

its says made in china...
pictures show white dudes that look from an oil company not a miner company.

they show case , but the case has a T1 module, nothing looks like a miner in there, they sell for 55,000 $ USD ...sounds like a scam ? probably is... they advertise on whatmine

what do you think ?

Now is: 24597

server port stratum ? hmm im bailing out of this....

#1 its stratum not startum
#2 a stratum is not what this is, you mean p2p port ? rpcport ?

unless your running a pool i dont see the relevence of this,

count me out as too much negative on this

210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Windows Alpha Multi Miner GUI for Cryptonote XMR etc on: October 31, 2014, 08:25:03 PM
Ok first attempt to do something for community,

this is a simple wrapper for all current miners, YAM, CLAYMORE 32/64 and GPU  and WOLF's minerd in one application.

Can i get testers please before continuing on this path ?

We need to get people to use XMR and that means noobs as well.

please post your findings and suggestions
PS you wont get faster nor slower speeds then using individual miners in dos, its a wrapper in a gui with easy to use click and mine

Update #1: 1/11 , New miner integrated Gpu claymore 9.1 beta 13.12 giving 486h/s per 280x, 420h/s per 270
Update #1: 31/10 , Added choosing of GPUS on miner page

New windows wallet gui to test it's pre alpha, needs .net 4.5 and use either a backup of wallet or make a new one.

i REPEAT use on a backup of your wallet or create new one

 https://mega.co.nz/#!0lhQlTYC!3pMBWK8H092Gfa7nIeNiNxPd0_n0VmhjhD8fm4EyxyA

Is this based on the other .net wallet or a whole new one?

monero client, sorry last link was missing 2 .dll's

https://mega.co.nz/#!th5WmaQR!0TV2vdK4P7rDMUXH8WleKAink8B92gWjpslUI43sl_k

this should work for all ( need dot.net 4.5.x)

Works good so far. Testing on my mining pc with mining wallet. So does it just connect to any remote node or just one that you had setup? Either way its nice and fast not having the blockchain locally.

get latest https://mega.co.nz/#!g4gTxQSL!8CeW8hcaSR0k9SqT6ygzGF_pwIAsZiqSkCU2Lb5WvbU as the other one if you click on a transaction header before a tx in there it will crap, (but still sync etc)

latest has a fix.
uses a public node for now, ill eventually add option to choose it

Can anyone test this simplewallet update from the old monero wallet ?

added open deamon connection ( no need to run deamon thus you save 3-4 gig of ram)
added click a transaction for chainradar details
added a message if your wallet is corrupted instead of the unlimited loop there was.

please backup your wallet data just in case and always wait for exit.
