141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 10 RX570 vs 5 gtx1660ti on: December 10, 2020, 02:24:47 PM
I'm planning to build a new mining rig by January 2021 not for the profit purposes only but also for maintaining myself whenever I need some money, I have other businesses running so I don't worry much about ROI, I'm trying to make a choice between 10 RX570 and 5 Gtx1660 ti

The money that can get me 10 RX570 can only 5 pieces or gtx1660ti
Of cos the Nvidia gpu are more costly than RX570 card but you can get more than 10 RX570 if you consider buying used cards, it's same thing with gtx1660 super but I'm not sure that there are used gtx1660 super or ti online right now, the best place to find out is ebay, used cards are very common on ebay than Amazon or Newegg
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profitable altcoins to mine right now on: December 10, 2020, 02:20:08 PM
New altcoins are becoming more profitable than old popular altcoins and these coins aren't revealed on whattomine platform,

1. Mango coin (Chuckwa) 3.17$ with gtx1660 super
2. Taona coin ( X16R) 2.80$ with gtx1660 super
3. Veil  (RandomX)  1.83$ with gtx1660 super
4. Veriblock  (vProgPow) 1.05$ with gtx1660 super

Since mining Ethereum is now less Profitable I have to find new altcoins to mine and sell for profit, mining Ethereum with a gtx1660 super will give you 0.97$ today.
OP these coins have less volumes on their trading exchanges, this can be a problem don't you know? Only veil have over 25,000$ volume in the last 24hours and others like Veriblock has even lower volume like 500$, that's not so good but it might worth the risk since marketcap is very high, my advice is anyone that mine this coins should instantly start selling for Ethereum
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop by if you are a PayPal user on: December 10, 2020, 02:16:13 PM
At first PayPal aren't so sure about the survival of crypto but since 2019 they have been carefully watching how crypto will get perform and this year pandemic did a big part by proving how strong crypto is, PayPal are in for the money making, no doubt but do you guys think that they already had enough to start blocking crypto traders account? They knew the consequences for that, I believe that affected crypto user is into more than we know.

PayPal have been in business for so long and recently they decided to add btc to their services which they know can bring lots of customers especially those from the crypto space how would such company just blocking accounts without any good reason! i think there is more to this story, PayPal is a very strict company which means they will block any account that looks suspicious.
Exactly! That's what I'm guessing too, how come it's only one or probably two people complaining about the ban on account? If it's suspicious there will be more banned accounts by now, I don't trust people this days, they like taking unnecessary risks to earn money in wrongful ways, I'm sure the users are to be blame
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my curiosity on: December 09, 2020, 12:17:02 PM
The team updated their status of emporium twitter account, they seem to be having a problem, don't judge to quickly if we don't have any valid proof to, maybe some internal problems that might delay or even cancel the blockchain integration for good. Who know, Hampuz is a good bounty manager and would not put name in joepardy.
What type of internal problem can make a project team stop talking to promoter manager? Yet they have the time to update their twitter account ? Don't fool yourself, that huge dump isn't from anybody but the team themselves, they avoid every questions about whitepaper in their telegram group lol
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: December 09, 2020, 12:10:34 PM
It's always easier said than done, as if we can actually control our greed, everyone who adjust on how they trade or make profits in crypto space today must have lost money due to greed but yet they learn because of greed, there is a right time to be greedy and honestly we can't get rid of greed, getting rid of greed is giving up on trying
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could There Be One World Digital Currency? on: December 08, 2020, 01:48:25 PM
Well I don't know anything any the new world order using cov19 to kill thousands of people from different countries so that digital currency can be recognized, I don't see things that way, if I can remember correctly the pandemic affected everything including crypto, people actually thought crypto bubble would burst, the panic of bubble burst and of cos cov19 makes many dumped bitcoin to stay alive and yes crypto gets more exposure in the process, how is this a new world order thing?
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to DeFi? on: December 08, 2020, 01:41:54 PM
What is happening to defi is normal; whenever there is a new initiative in the blockchain space; there are literally several hypes; price hikes etc; it happens to all platform entirely; but what happens when the hype is no more? This is what is happening to defi. Defi platform will definitely survive; but only defi projects with viable and achievable product use case would survive. Keep researching, and if you hodl a defi token; find out for yourself if it can survive on the long run. Always dyor.
Several hypes that are based on scams? And also hacks? The problem is people tend to rush up anything that's bringing money that's why scammers are been empowered to keep on using DeFi to scam, DeFi isn't perfect and as lots of fixing to do but scammers don't even let us know where DeFi really stands, it's no bad that I don't want anything to do with DeFi
148  Other / Meta / Re: BITCOINTALK FORUM NEEDS A DEFI SUB-BOARD on: December 07, 2020, 08:58:57 AM
We only have bitcoin and altcoins in crypto space, DeFi are all altcoins and most of them are running on ERC20 smart contract, that's Ethereum blockchain, another altcoin or the king of all altcoins rather, if you are trying to push DeFi aside then let's start from creating different sub boards for CEFI too? Or oh Stable coins? How about some Security Tokens? All these are just use cases, they all belongs to alternative cryptocurrencies
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you trust the Code or Human? on: December 07, 2020, 08:48:43 AM
Codes are created by men so they can be manipulated and coded projects like DeFi can escape any crime because you can't go after the code, you can't make code take full responsibility when things go wrong, even developers can manipulate the code themselves and out the blame on the code, this is why I will prefer CEX where I can put blame on human and if the humans have a reputation to protect they will refund any fund loses
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: December 06, 2020, 03:46:48 PM
The impatience ones find it hard to wait for the perfect time, they are always in haste to make money, I've learn alot since I came into digital world of cryptocurrency since 2017 and I  keep seeing that crypto is all about the right time, there is a time to buy and there is a time to sell, that's not the end, it's like a God damn circle, time to buy will always come around and time to sell will always come around too
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to build a new mining rig with 2800$ on: December 06, 2020, 03:41:45 PM
You can buy 10 pieces of RX580 for 200$ on amazon and use the 800$ to buy motherboard, risers, ram and other parts for mining, using whattomine website for my calculations I'm sure you will earn 8$ per day and that's like 230-240$ per month, you will make back your ROI in a year time
Used RX580 will cost less that 200$ on ebay or newegg, I suggest buying used cards to safe more $$$ ,used RX580 starts from 140$ to 180$ depending on memory size or and fan size too, less fan equals less cost, 4GB is less costly than 8GB cards
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A10 Pro and Miningrigrentals on: December 05, 2020, 03:19:51 PM
I'm not very good with asic miner setups but before making this post you could have tried out another pool first, if the other pool work then you will easily figure out where the problem is coming from, it might be miningrigrentals, I haven't seen anyone using that pool before, try nicehash pool, Antpool or slushppol
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: December 05, 2020, 03:16:31 PM
I used to ask myself why hackers are stealing coins that can't be sold or change to Fiat without getting caught, this days address can be traced or tag, binance exchange for example is very good at blacklisting a scammer address, they will keep tracking until the hacker made a mistake one way or the other, smart criminals will prefer Fiat over digital currency because Fiat is less traceable
154  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: December 05, 2020, 03:14:27 PM
The only way to avoid not getting caught online is by never changing crypto for fiat, even if you hack or steal digital assets you will still need to sell for FIAT and all platforms that accepts switching crypto to Fiat requires I.D Verifications, KYC is a must, so when address to address are been tracked it will lead them to your Fiat gateway, that will put the person in hot soup
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RTX 3060Ti 8GB or RX 5700 XT 8GB ? on: December 04, 2020, 02:30:50 PM
Be careful what to buy on ebay, I do some diggings right now and I find out that those cards are from unverified sellers also the pictures are download online as you can see it says images or pictures in item description, they have no single ratings at all meaning they haven't sold any RTX3060ti, if it's a must for you to give a try please use ebay Money back guarantee instead
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Fake black Friday deals on: December 04, 2020, 02:27:47 PM
Is there anyone on here getting crypto blackfriday deals through their email address? I keep getting blackfriday deals like buying bitcoin and other coins at cheaper rate but I was smart enough to do some diggings and I see that scammers are targeting emails to lure people and scam them, do not go through your emails to take advantage of any blackfriday deals
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Making use of a £1000 gaming PC? on: December 04, 2020, 02:22:41 PM
It's going to take like forever to get your money back through mining 24/7, I suggest you should make up your mind right now since mining isn't the real reason you get this desktop computer for in the first place, how about selling back since it's a gamers PC you will sell at good rate and invest the money on good mining setup? You can buy some RX470 480 or 570 and 580 with the money and other parts like motherboard and power pack as well, you will make quick ROI this way
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RTX 3060Ti 8GB or RX 5700 XT 8GB ? on: December 04, 2020, 02:19:19 PM
The normal price for RTX3060ti was 400$, that was the announced price from nvidia but now it's almost 800$ and some are even selling over 800$ but if you don't mind buying the OEM variants you can still get the around 400 to 450$ on ebay

I'm always a fan of Nvidia graphics card because they always have better cooling than AMD
Where did you get those price from ? Ebay? Well they are too good to be real, a RTX3060ti costs not less than 800$ today, if those prices are real they should be sold out already, be careful they might be from unverified sellers or scammers
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where DeFi is headed on: December 03, 2020, 01:35:09 PM
DeFi is still more like a failed experiment, 80% of DeFi projects are unreliable, they have weak security and they are more hack friendly, they claim to be decentralized but instead they aren't showing any decentralized motives, the only DeFi projects I trust are not up to five and I choose those DeFi projects because they are more than just DeFi like many new DeFi projects so far, I don't care much about where DeFi is headed, I'm just going to keep picking the good eggs out from the bad eggs, hopeful in future DeFi projects will actually become fully decentralized and more secured
160  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Web wallet better than mobile wallet on: December 03, 2020, 01:28:48 PM
A web wallet is one such wallet. You do not need to use any additional applications to save it. It is much safer. In my opinion, web wallet is much better than mobile wallet. Using it does not require a separate space. Hopefully the wallet will expand further in the future.
How about waking up from your bed one morning and you decide to check your web wallet out and it shows you nothing? You try going back to reload the web page and you find out that it's no more working? That haven't happened to you yet right? I guess that's why you are making this post, you'd better reconsider before it's too late
