81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why should we invest for these type of projects? on: January 25, 2021, 07:19:15 AM
The concept looks good enough but this isn't the first time I would see project like this with same use case, they always go down in the end, like the teams aren't well prepared for other whole thing, some even stop functioning after they raised enough money
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even normal? on: January 24, 2021, 07:29:28 AM
That looks like a scam to me, they will just keep you guys hoping that you all are going to get paid, and they won’t pay. Maybe you should have done some background check of the project’s team to know who they really are and what other project hey have been into in the past and whether they paid those that participated in the past project. I am already seeing a comment that says that the team that owns the project are scammers and this is is not their first project and the first one they also never paid those that participated. If they are not scammers I don’t see any reason why they would block everyone from having access to their group.
Base protocol isn't a scam, they paid all bounty hunters as they promised, I have a friend that joined their Signature campaign, the problem is the team failed to hire a qualified bounty manager and they decide to manage the w themselves but the project team are limited, to further the project development they have no time to record stakes, lame excuse isn't it? But that was what happened
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: January 24, 2021, 07:26:17 AM
There are different type of people in this world and I've noticed that many don't want to lose a hair on their head for money making, they always want the easiest way out, yet they will get jealous if you take the step and pursue what they couldn't, I'm not ready to introduce crypto to any newbies because I've been blamed twice before, even after telling them about the risk involved they will pretend as if it's nothing but wait till they lose money you will see their true color
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin has the lowest fee to transfer beside XRP? on: January 24, 2021, 07:17:53 AM
TRON and DOGE are the cheapest unless you want to use altcoins that are under top 20 on coinmarketcap, for that I have Apollo Currency in mind, anyways, the reason why these altcoins are have cheap gas fee is because they have no big value, believe me if TRON costs 5$ per coin you will see increase in gas fee too
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Celebrity Rapper "Soulja Boy" tries to buy XRP on Coinbase, but guess what? on: January 24, 2021, 07:14:53 AM
I'm sure the guy knew about the XRP lawsuit, he did that intentionally just to draw on eye on himself, he isn't a newbie and the SEC announcement is well know in US, anyways, coinbase isn't the only exchange one can buy XRP, it's still trading on many exchanges
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Planning to build my first ever mining rig on: January 23, 2021, 06:41:40 AM
We all heard about ETH2.0 as well but that won't stop Ethereum POw algorithm from working, since you are going to high end gpu with 12gb VRAM that is awesome and more futuristic than other cards, you don't have to worry, GPU mining is going no where, there wi always be profitable coins to mine
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you do mining or staking? on: January 23, 2021, 06:37:25 AM
I'm staking as many coins as possible on 7-days cycles. There are plenty of options for 10-15% APY, and I cannot force myself to miss it.
I tried mining a long time ago and figured out that the mining game is not for me.
Hi @Dutchyyy, I will like to ask you a question or two, which platform or wallet are you using for your staking that allows 7 days staking cycles? And what type of coins are you used to for staking? Names will be appreciated
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you do mining or staking? on: January 23, 2021, 06:35:21 AM
I like staking because it's more easy, you don't have to spend some money on mining hardwares and so on but what I don't like about staking is the decrease in  value of the tokens you are staking while the staking period is ongoing, it's kinda dangerous too
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: January 23, 2021, 06:32:15 AM
It's not a safe time to buy altcoins right now but who knows? The risk might be worth it, that is if you can afford to lose a certain amount of money, though the best time to invest in coins is bear market, have that at the back of your mind
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solar and batteries 24/7 on: January 22, 2021, 07:15:59 AM
Yes there are people like myself mining on solar, the problem is you will be spending much money on the solar equipments, I went for a all in one power solution, I will drop a image below and it's 2400watt solar inverter, it has inbuilt lithium ion batteries which are better than lead acids batteries and deep cycle batteries, I only use 2 gpu on the inverter and it lasted me for 12 hours

You can use solar panels to recharge or electricity to recharge too, way convenient than buying separate charge controller and separate inverter
I'm betting this solar/inverter generator will cost as much as 1600$ or more, it sure make things easier but buying batteries and other parts will lower your cost, I can buy 4 pieces of 200ah batteries and cheap 2000 watt inverter, charge controller and panels with that 1600$, meaning I will get more battery backup that will last more than 12hours, let's do the math

4x 200ah batteries = 9600 watts, since you can't drain more than 50% power you are left with 4800watts at your disposal, that's enough for 300watt gpu mining, assuming you are using two gtx1660 super with motherboard, you will get 16 hours of mining off the batteries alone
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Tether go into crisis like XRP? on: January 22, 2021, 07:07:39 AM
Don't compare XRP with USDT because USDT operates legally through and through in some cases, this isn't the first time that USDT will face the law and everything went smoothly, as for XRP nothing like this ever happened
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with nonsignificant altcoins on: January 22, 2021, 07:05:33 AM
OP if you move your coins into Stable coin you've automatically halt any profit making, hope you know this already? Also will you be able to feel good if Monero and XLM pumps higher in future? The problem here is you don't actually know what you want, an investor must have a target, so when that target arrives just take your profit and leave for another day
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: January 22, 2021, 07:03:04 AM
You can't make money out of USDT, it's a stable coin that's pegged to USD, very useful for traders and also a good choice for store of value, it's less risky than those new altcoins that can become worthless under a month or two, USDT works for what's ever created to do, I trust USDT
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Do you like to make money in your free time? on: January 21, 2021, 02:24:46 PM
I knew something is off with this Erotic coin when I came across your post but don't bother to reply until now that you have been tagged with red trust saying Fake team, plagiarism, I advice everyone to keep visiting scam accusation section often, it will safe you from scam projects like this one
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Kraken Delists XRP on: January 21, 2021, 02:21:29 PM
No one is going to tell you to invest in XRP or abandon the project for another because no one actually knows what will happen in future, many exchanges have delisted Monero too but look at the privacy coin, still mooning like nothing happened, as for XRP case I'm just been greedy when others are fearful is all, I'm still going to keep by bag
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDO is going to replace IEO? on: January 21, 2021, 02:19:03 PM
Polkadot chain is mind-blowing, can do better than ICO in future I believe, all projects running on Polkadot are successful already that's why DOT is highly demanding, it's possible that new crowdfunding strategy can take the lead soon but IEO isn't done yet, IEO has safe many from scammers, that's those who always go for top exchanges IEO projects
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin I should investmen with 5k dollars? on: January 21, 2021, 02:14:56 PM
Hi guy,

I have 5k dollars, you think i should investment any altcoin.

Do you think about UNISWAP? i see it have a top rank in DEFI.

Thanks you.
Diversity is a very useful tool in crypto space, abstain from putting ball your eggs in one basket, bitcoin is the strongest of all so you can invest 50% of that money on bitcoin only and share the rest among top 10 altcoins

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [BetterHash] - Easy mining GUI application for Windows on: December 30, 2020, 08:25:16 AM
New mining softwares should start building their separate OS like hiveOS and EthOS, I don't like running softwares to mine a certain algorithm cos I always notice a drawback with performance, OS works better, the interface or dashboard of betterhash looks so attractive and easily understandable, work on the OS
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: You want something good as UNISWAP and 1inch ? on: December 30, 2020, 08:21:57 AM
🤔 well thoughtful OP, it's not a common thing for new exchanges to share their token with new users that trade on their platforms, this can actually make some start expecting such from new exchange projects, good warning honestly
