281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could invest in a project with it's own hardware device, WOULD YOU? on: October 14, 2019, 06:12:17 PM
Ledger is a well-known wallet provider, I think if he holds a kind of ICO it will raise a lot of funds and attract investors because they already have a big name before.
as well as LIBRA coins made by facebook and TON from the telegram will provoke a large fomo because it is worldwide.

Agreed, but Ledger needs some competition. While it's a good hardware provider, they are extremely slow at implementing new coins, integrate pull requests, and stuff like that. You'd know that if you where waiting like TONS of people are for Ledger to integrate stuff.
Example: Cold staking with XSN. It's been ready for MONTHS, only need Ledger to accept the pull requests, but they are taking forever. Hopefully Viper will be better at support, crossing my fingers
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins should i buy? on: October 14, 2019, 05:16:38 PM
There's no way to know which coins are gonna take off, but if you look at the recent news, and trends, it's a good indicator on the future in regards to projects that MIGHT take off.

As we've seen, a TON of centralized exchanges has been hacked, exit scammed, etc.
We've also seen exchanges like IDEX enforcing KYC on it's users. Coinbase sharing users trading history with the IRS, and much more. There is no doubt that Decentralized Exchanges is gonna BOOM once people start to actually CARE about their privacy!
I'm accumulating BLOCK, since it's the first project who launched a REAL proper DEX, and compared to the rest of the DEX's on the market right now, it's WAY better. (By a long shot)
Check the picture below for a comparisement

283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: October 14, 2019, 05:11:19 PM
Just pushing my post up to the next page, not sure if anyone in this thread is an actual user or not...

Are there any operators of service nodes around here? If so I'm curious what kind of setup you're running (big server, everything on one; smaller micro servers, each wallet on one server, or some hybrid etc.) I wasn't able to find any information about hardware requirements/recommendations as well as bandwidth use. I'm also curious how many different wallets you're running.

I'm also interested in hearing from any regular blocknet traders out there - what's the user experience like having multiple core qt wallets running on your machine? Do you find it cumbersome? How does blocknet interact with encrypted wallets?

Have you tried asking anyone in their Discord channel? I'm sure you would get a better response there. As far as  I know, some Snode owners run their own dedicated servers to host a multitude of blockchains/wallets.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet Price Prediction 2019/2020 - The King Of DEX's. on: October 14, 2019, 05:07:08 PM
im not sure whats with so many people shilling blocknet lately, seen a few alt discussion threads on it now
i remember when it launched, i think everyone knew it was very unique and awesome, but most people i know just got caught up in Mother BTC or starting their own project at the time
It will be interesting to see if it makes a comeback into the spotlight, i should see what they are up to this/next year here...
no way 100-200$ tho haha

$100/coin is easily achievable due to the low circulating supply of coins. I did my research, and compared to other DEX solutions, BLOCK is the clear winner of them all.

I'm accumulating this one, because I'm sure it's gonna take off eventually when people move away from centralized solutions to protect their privacy.

285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Blocknet Price Prediction 2019/2020 - The King Of DEX's. on: October 11, 2019, 09:45:30 PM
I was checking out Blocknet and it seems like a huge project, not only the DEX but apparantly they will also have Blockchain interopability. Basically means that different blockchains can communicate. Seems like they're covering a vital step in the use of blockchain which is the ability for communication and exchange between all these different chains and ecosystems. Plus the fact that you don't have to convert to BTC anymore. Current marketcap is quite low for the mainstream capacity it has, as we're seeing more and more companies starting to use blockchain this is going to become an essential tool for the huge industry that is flourishing here.

To me it seems like this project isn't really getting the attention it deserves.

I bought some BLOCK and would like to know what you guys think, what's 2019/2020 going to bring for Blocknet? I think we could seriously see another project reaching into that billion(s) dollar marketcap.

http://blocknet.co/

Check out their website and scroll down to see a summary of features Blocknet offers

I'm predicting Block to hit $100-$200 once we see a bigger shift of people moving away from centralized exchanges, which is probably gonna enforce WAY more regulation, documentations, and most likely sharing trading histories with the governments to prevent "money laundering" - Yeah, it's coming.

Look at all these DEX's popping up everywhere, it's clear as day DEX trading is becoming the standard eventually, taking the control away from these corrupt exchanges demanding millions of dollars off projects to list them, which is ridiculous.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: October 11, 2019, 09:34:25 PM
how do i buy more blocknet?! I lost it all when I lost my wallet LMAO. USA ish resident -.-

I use Bittrex. Always been my go-to exchange with most coins. Bittrex has the majority of the total daily volume as well, so it's really the best exchange to use right now.
Beaxy (New exchange with FIAT-on ramps) will list Block as well, so that's good news! Smiley
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best DEX out there? What do you guys think? on: October 11, 2019, 09:23:44 PM
IDEX was my favourite decentralised exchange, until they implemented the KYC process. Right now, Binance dex is looking good, but I still do not trust Binance. Thats why my number one right now is Forkdelta, however they are already collecting funds to survive.

The Binance DEX, is not a REAL DEX. All the nodes controlling and verifying the transactions is owned and controlled by Binance themselves.

Blocknet seems to be an awesome DEX just need more volume like the rest of the DEX's out there Smiley
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best DEX out there? What do you guys think? on: October 10, 2019, 02:03:02 PM
I'm looking for some DEX projects to invest in, since I believe they are the future of trading for those of us who care about privacy, security, and peace of mind while trading basically.

I found Blocknet, which was founded in 2014, launched the first functional DEX. Seems like a promising project with a good entry price right now.

Also found Komodo, Bisq, and a few others..

There seems to be so many out there as of late, what do you guys think?
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSN] Stakenet - The World's First Trustless Proof of Stake Coin on: October 10, 2019, 01:01:05 PM
Looks like TPoS from Hardware is ready.
Just seen TPoS for Trezor on xsnexplorer.io
Keep Up the Good Work, it will pay off in the end.
And no worry, Fud will be made daily on any Project out there.

sry, but "Coming soon" is not ready... you know, my uncertainity mainly comes from those ready/finished/100% items, which are just plainly not. if it was ready, it would not state coming soon. it would be ready.

The roadmap states it as "99% Completed - BETA"

What is so hard to understand here? Needs to state: "Deployed" if ready.

ok so if anyone ever has the great opportunity to see that exquisite bs we are writing - the wallet was at 100% in may, everyone can see that through the wayback machine, postings by many people in this thread, discord, telegram groups and so on, but hey getting an item from 100% back to less ofc makes it better... you sure i'm the fudding troll?

They had to change the percentage, because of moaning impatient people like you. Fact is, it never stated the wallet as "Deployed", it might have been finished for testings back in May, but that's another story. There's a difference between: Having made a working product, versus having a polished product that is bug free, and ready for the public to use.
The team has been open with the community about it the whole time, and the only person I see here complaining is unironically you, so honestly, I'm pretty much done wasting my time on you. Sorry. Smiley
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could invest in a project with it's own hardware device, WOULD YOU? on: October 10, 2019, 12:55:18 PM
The open beta is NOT closed buddy, they just stopped accepting new people to test it for the time being. There's a waiting list for those members who wish to help test it.

Do you know by chance how many people are in beta testing? And if ever they will reopen what will be the benefits of beta tester? I'm sure that is quite interesting.

This is a world's first, so obviously it needs a TON of testing, especially with lightning being in constant development. There's been found bugs to fix in the lightning tech itself, something the devs have no control over.
The DEX is already up and running on a test server, trades being made - So I actually do believe we are getting close Smiley

No need to rush like tbh, as long as the team is sticking and kicking on the roadmap then nothing should be a worry. At the end of the day, everything depends on the team's adherence.

Not sure on the exact amount of people doing beta testing right now, but I believe it to be among 10-20 people who's trusted within the Stakenet Community on Discord. People with technical skills, who knows how to code, find bugs and exploits have been prioritized from the "normie" people, who is just as important, because the main goal of the project is to be "normie-friendly", easy to use with no technical skills needed.

The team is working super hard, and it's amazing how much they get done considering how small the projects marketcap is. There are about 40 people actively working on Stakenet in different devisions, so updates and announcements is pretty frequent, which I like a lot!

Would it be better if the beta testers are completely one of a classified normies? If they will beta test their product with experts, normies will have a different point to consider. What if they beta test the product with normies, then fix anomalies by the experts. In a simple IT product that is how projects are being tested.

They've got people who are technical, and "normies" testing, but what I'm saying is, that the majority of the testers right now seems to know more about the technical aspects of everything.
I'm pretty sure that a public release is getting closer day by day, so pretty excited about that!
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - XSN - The Next 50x Altcoin Out There? on: October 10, 2019, 12:51:28 PM
I do not understand how the price of XSN still does not rise. They set up a very nice system. It is very important to make a working project. But in order to increase the price, I think we need to have a good advertising policy....

It's because it's not really on a good exchange just yet. There's not a whole lot of places for people to go and trade it or play the market. I've been wanting to get in on this project, but I don't know any of those exchanges it's on or trust them enough to use them. I can't even use the biggest exchange it's on (Coinall) in my country. The price will go up a lot whenever it hits a decent exchange. Wait until the Cross-chain staking works. If you bought in now and they get that working, you'll probably end up very happy.

I felt the exact same way in the beginning, but Livecoin works fine. Never had a problem with that exchange, and it's been around for as long as I remember. (Way before Binance even launched)
Once the project lands on a decent exchange it's gonna increase in value dramatically,  no doubt about it.

293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you're a huge fan of BTC and LTC, You might want to take a look at Stakenet. on: October 08, 2019, 06:47:53 PM
I have already heard of Stakenet and it seems like it would be another banger in the nearest future. The only question is why is the price so unstable and how long does it take to launch their wallet and all those factors?

just be careful on those copycats that want to beat bitcoin or litecoin. they might have outstanding features but they won't beat the popularity or longevity of these old coins

I think you've got the wrong impression of Stakenet dude. They DONT want to be the "the best", it's been addressed by the devs so many times already. They want to ENHANCE the user experience of BTC, LTC, and crypto in general. Making it easier to access, trade, store, etc. etc.

No one's beating BTC or LTC in terms of popularity like that, you'd be completely delusional if that was your game plan.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could invest in a project with it's own hardware device, WOULD YOU? on: October 08, 2019, 06:44:23 PM
I just visited xsnexplorer.io and recognized a new Tab for Trezor.
Also featuring a Tab now for TPoS. Directly from the Trezor Device, Awesome!
Looks like the implementation is in his endings.

Well, from what I understood, Trezor just needs to implement the pull requests from Stakenet itself, and should be working. I know that's the case with Ledger. Smiley

Wow a very clean and decent blogpost about Stakenet! It looks promising as ever an it needs much support. I hope they acquire decent listing already to be included on the CMC Top 100. Now, a need for me to have additional masternodes for this project.

Thanks Smiley I tried to keep it as simple as possible really. Some of the wallet pics, seems to be a little outdated already, which is what happens when a wallet is shown in it's beta stage. It actually looks way better right now in my opinion. There's more info about it + a picture of it here:

296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stakenet VS Komodo. Atomic Swaps / Lightning Swaps DEX on: October 08, 2019, 06:34:36 PM
Disclaimer: I'm an investor in both projects, so I'm biased.

So recently I've been reading up A LOT on decentralized trading, and peer to peer transactions. All these complaints on KYC submissions on various exchanges makes me confident that DEX's is gonna blow up in the future. This is EXACTLY why I decided to buy into Komodo, since I believe they'll be a huge player in the next alt season. Their Atomic DEX provides peer to peer trading via atomic swaps, but their recent test transactions took about 9 minutes, and that's quite som time to sit and wait compared to centralized exchange trading, hence why I understand why people don't like the DEX solutions currently available.

Next we got Stakenet, who's building a Lightning DEX, providing offchain peer to peer transactions, with near instant transactions, and lower fees. Lightning hasn't been easy to implement on Bitcoin, and there's a lot of doubters, but from what I've seen, this looks extremely promising, for a lot of reasons:

1) Nobody needs to sync with the DEX to use it, since all the chains is held by the masternodes running the DEX.
2) No KYC
3) No Registration process, just straight trading.

Comparing these 2 projects is hard, but it's obvious that I'm actually starting to be way more bullish on Stakenet, since I believe instant transactions will make people actually USE the DEX.

Not a fan of the whole "Binance DEX", since it's not a DEX in the first place. All the transactions is verified by Binance themselves (they own all the nodes), which isn't decentralized at all.

I'll hold both projects, since Komodo is the "safer" investment for now I guess, but I'm sure Stakenet will eventually outperform them.
Thoughts? Smiley

I'd agree with your general sentiment.

Yes, Stakenet could potentially be very successful. But the amount of shills for this project that i've seen based off browsing this section of the forum is a bit too much for my liking in my personal opinion. It could just be investors, but it could also be official parties trying to use the forum as a guerilla marketing tactic.

Komodo on the other hand has been around for longer, and has had a proven team and track record. Perhaps lower returns, but much lower risk as well.

I've been an investor in Stakenet since it's very beginning, and it's frustrates me that projects with a LOT less going for them sits on marketcaps worth hundreds of millions of dollars, with absolutely 0 use cases, or utilities whatsoever.
I've been posting about Stakenet here a lot, truly because I love the project, and believe in it. I'm in no way part of the actual team, just want to make people aware of the project, that's basically it.

Komodo is a decent project as well, as stated, I do hold some - since I believe both projects will do well on their own. Smiley
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins price at bull run on: October 07, 2019, 06:26:05 PM
If Blocknet continues there developments on their Blocknet DX, I'm sure the BLOCK coin itself will reach a price above $100 easy. (100X, due to a low circulating supply of 6 mio coins).

All the coins in the top 20, will do well, but it's definitely worth taking a look at what could possibly be the future of crypto trading, which in my eyes is decentralized solutions. There's a reason Binance made a "DEX", which is not even a real DEX, but a marketing gimmick, it's because it's the future.
People are TIRED of KYC, sharing all their personal details, and overall being scared of their governments getting their trading histories (which could ruin you, technically, if crypto is taxes, from crypto to crypto).

Those who CARE about privacy will move to DEX solutions, Blocknet being the oldest in the game, will have a fair share of the volume long term, the team didn't spend tons of $$$$ on marketing yet, which is why the price has soared as much as it did, don't let that fool you though.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts On Blocknet? How high can it likely go? on: October 07, 2019, 06:19:12 PM
5000 Block to run a service node should be about $5000?
Well, I have heard alot about the decentralized exchange. It is actually on my list of most recommended decentralized exchanges. Unfortunately I tried using it couple of times without success, so I thought it was still under development. Never knew it has gone far.

It's still under development, and the liquidity is low (It is on all DEX's though). Once regulation on all the major exchanges tightens, and peoples trading history is sent to the governments (as anti money laundering "security" bullshit), I'm sure there's gonna be a TON of people who will move their trading habbits over to decentralized solutions.
That's when you can make profits off of a service node, to provide it's users with services, such as verifying the transactions taking place on the DEX, to make sure nobody has any malicious intents.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: October 07, 2019, 06:13:15 PM
Looks like a great project! The other DEX's aren't that decentralized Smiley

Agreed Smiley You know this DEX is good, since the devs have had way more time on their hands to develop it, compared to all the new ones popping up lately, and best of all, this DEX is in constant development! Wink
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSN] Stakenet - The World's First Trustless Proof of Stake Coin on: October 07, 2019, 02:56:51 PM
I really wonder what you're trying to do here dude. 3 posts in a row, all with constant FUD against a project that has delivered on a TON of their promises so far. It seems like you're a guy who bought in at the peak, and now blames the devs for your own actions.

I COULD BE WRONG, but it just seems like it. These guys are working on products that has never been coded before. Lightning as an example is on constant development on it's own, and yet you think a lightning wallet is coded in a couple of weeks? Do you even have any IDEA of how many things could go wrong if they released a wallet to the public without testing it enough?
I've had my fair experience coding in C++ and VB, and honestly? It wasn't really my thing. I hate people like you who have no freaking IDEA what it takes to code something like this from scratch.

The wallet has been finished long ago, "finished" as the community kept on bugging the team asking for it, asking for updates. Devs has been upfront all the time, shared pictures, and now opened for the final round of testing before public release. I need to type finished in quotation marks since nothing isn't really 100% finished until it's been fully tested for exploits, bugs, spelling mistakes, UI mistakes, integration errors and the list goes on and on.

Look around you, I can name LOADS of projects who hasn't achieved even 50% of what Stakenet has, and that's when looking at projects sitting on the front page of Coinmarketcap.

Stop complaining, take a chill pill and either step off your high horse, or get lost. You're really annoying, and your attitude is extremely rude.

aha which TON did they deliver then? not wanna discuss how 100% means finished for every normal person in the world and not beta, but since it was "finished" in may, i would presume that testing could be finished by now. how you come to the opinion that i dont know coding is not really explained, but ok, i hope you won't tell the company i programmed some call-for-bids and cost monitoring software for. anyway, maybe you should take a realist look on what was promised when - especially in the anns - and think about from where the critic stems.

how someone, who knows more about my programing skills than me and my employers, "hates" people like me, gives commands, and thinks that he has the authority to tell someone to get off a project, thinks that the other person is rude and on the high horse, should tell you a lot about the real given situation. the answer to nothing getting delivered for quite some time are ad hominems...

I can name AT LEAST 10 top projects who has "promised" to deliver on a ton of stuff, yet they DONT. You think perhaps it's because these projects holds back on releases while the whole crypto market is in a complete bear market? I don't know if that's the case here, but just a guess.

You're so negative, which is truly annoying, which is why I approached you the way I did. I understand if you're "dissapointed", but stuff like this takes so much time to develop, which is the reason you see projects like Chainlink, ARK, ETH, and a TON of other projects promise the world, but yet post pone, coincidence? Perhaps... But this bear market doesn't really help that much.

I'd suggest you to get off your high horse and look at what other projects have delivered lately, which is next to ZERO.
