101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Youengine (YOUC) failed on: November 05, 2020, 01:09:18 PM
John McAfee is a bad influencer, I bet some investors turn away once they see John involvement on the project, almost every project that involved with John McAfee are trash now, the McAfee Hype days is over, people don't trust him alone as he already ruined is reputation
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another project down or just too cautious? on: November 05, 2020, 01:03:19 PM
Just wait for a moment and give them time, maybe they are just under maintenance but if ever it will not go back to normal in a few days then their team is anonymous, I think you should stop promoting this project and find another one.
Then the team have no respect for their community, every serious team must inform the community about any upcoming updates on telegram group or twitter account, this is a very bad way to treat investors, I don't think the team is coming back but with time we will see
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My suggestion for new projects team who want to promote their projects on: November 05, 2020, 01:01:20 PM
3. Go for strong exchanges with no fake volume
This is the most important thing but unfortunately, it's the most difficult. Listing on big exchanges results in a lot of fee and obviously, no projct wants to spend a lot of money for that. Finance is always a problem with new projects. If a project is financially strong, they don't even need a bounty to promote.
I don't agree to this mate, there are few projects that are well funded and they still introduce bounty campaign, e.g Harmony, Cartesi and DIA, what I noticed are teams that means business, they are damn serious about what they want to do for the public. Sometimes enough funds equals to seriousness
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 04, 2020, 12:47:28 PM
I really don't understand what this YouEngine team are thinking, since they failed to raise enough fund why can't they cut some percentages of the bounty allocation to avoid this dump? Few bounty projects did same thing in the past like Gowithmi.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happens to those DeFi project now? on: November 04, 2020, 12:42:36 PM
It's not only DeFi projects that are suffering presently, majority of altcoins that aren't DeFi are suffering too, we just have to hold tight, Bitcoin keeps surging and that's enough for us, when bitcoin bullish is over altcoins will take over, and after that another long bear market will begin, it's possible to make insane profits from projects that aren't even that big
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greedy crypto developers on: November 04, 2020, 12:39:26 PM
Developers should stop taking investors as fools, you cooked your project up to your taste and everything seem fine enough but because you are too greedy and can't take your eye off DeFi success you decide to switch your project to DeFi. Seriously are investors stupid enough to go along with your obvious trick? To all developers who are doing this, it's a complete slap to your faces, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
This is another reason not to hold DeFi projects for long term purposes, they will died when you least expected, many of them are just taking advantage of investors because they knew every investors want to make money out of DeFi projects right now, I don't blame the project team but the investors who failed to take their time and do some deep research on the projects first.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 04, 2020, 12:37:03 PM
Which do you think is best for a new project and why?

ICO - initial coin offering
IEO - initial Exchange offering
IDO - initial Dex offering
STO - Secority token offering

IEO is always the best for me because infinity I can be sure that they will not scam and will enter the exchange market in the future. In addition, IEO of top exchanges are always the best such as like binance, kucoin. So you should participate in all these IEO because the amount of risk is to low.

Note- I don't know if the same topic has been presented in the past and I'm creating the topic with my own ideas.
STO doesn't work so let's get rid of that from the list, I'm just starting to know more about IDO as I've never participate in any project that's using IDO to raise development funds, I'm much more into ICO and IEO and I can honestly say that IEO has the upper hand since launch of IEO, with binance exchange and other top exchanges IEO will be around for a very long time
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous teams on: October 31, 2020, 01:16:44 PM
I used to be a full time miner and I can say that many projects I mined have no real team, they are just websites with good designs and roadmaps, I later find out that team coming out to the open is very important, coins like haven protocol and loki are few of the coins that I mined and they are still alive today
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: October 31, 2020, 01:14:38 PM
I was searching about upcoming defi project in Google and i have received unbelievable lot of defi project, Who will enter the crypto market within the next year. I believe in the idea that many projects among them will deceive investors so keep your eyes open. They will just come up with a defi tag and get by managing uniswap which is the real reason we have to lose our money.
Why google, I'm pretty sure that google will give you lots of fake DeFi projects that have no ANN page on this forum, you are doing it wrongly, DeFi hype is fading away and you are looking forward to next year upcoming DeFi projects? Just be extremely careful, it's better to use this forum and coinmarketcap for any upcoming DeFi t but still many are scam.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 31, 2020, 01:09:13 PM
Blockchain and crypto tech are just getting started, buckle up mate because there will be many hundreds more projects coming into crypto world every year, that's right, you heard me right, every single year, there will be scam projects, there will be real projects and there will be pump and dump projects too
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Even huawei refused to be left out on: October 30, 2020, 01:25:41 PM

112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: October 30, 2020, 01:17:17 PM
I will definitely invest in a project that can provide the following

1. Blockchain experienced team members

2. High quality partnerships

3. Top exchanges listings

4. Very useful and creative utilities

Here is how I role along in crypto space, can't say about others, I am able to get here after many disappointments, I end up learning from my past mistakes
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why DeFi is high risk investment on: October 30, 2020, 01:14:17 PM
Here are reasons why DEFI is a high risk investment

1. A glitch in the system can lead to loss of funds or blocking of all assets

2. Developers boost that their codes are impenetrable but they can't oversee how users interacts with applications and platforms, meaning human errors are inevitable.

3. Market is very unpredictable and there is no any form of insurance available for investors, they risks of losing fund is very high

4. YIELD FARMING

Yield farming means the creation of tokens to reward users who provide liquidity to a project, meaning it's a must for users to invest their tokens on the project, you won't be able to trade or sell.

Today many projects are going into DeFi because high yields are offered and investors want quick profits too .

With DeFi the risks are insanely bigger compared to ICO.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: October 30, 2020, 12:59:21 PM
Marketing is the heart of project. If team members are not knowledgeable or the marketing manager is not experienced, then project does not get investors to take next step. This is a major cause.
I'm just wondering why a team will launch new project without the right experience, is that not the main reason why developers hired team members? This is sadden honestly, very heartbreaking, we have to invest in their project with our hard-earned money but they aren't qualified to take the project to high level? I just pity those who blindly invest in projects
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: October 29, 2020, 08:27:26 AM
For all those who are saying otherwise they haven't experienced loss in the process of holding coins that's why they are against what OP is saying, I've have hold so many coins in the past, they had high value but because I was greedy I keep holding on until they become worthless, another bad experience is ESH, I invested 3000$ on this coin and now my wallet shrinked to 150$
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to invest in Polkadot? on: October 29, 2020, 08:16:27 AM
Polkadot is very promising but don't put your eggs in one basket, I believe that Polkadot will increase alot few years later but because nothing is certain in this life I advice you should invest in few other coins too, just make Polkadot a part of your portfolio, it's not bad if you have 5 good altcoins in your portfolio
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I believe this is the way on: October 29, 2020, 08:08:47 AM
You can become a holder and still keep taking profits from every project that brings 2x or more, this crypto space is working in circles, there are times when the coin will surge and there are time when the coin will dump, just take advantages and keep repeating the process
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 29, 2020, 07:57:55 AM
Many unqualified developers are getting into crypto nowadays so I'd say don't trust newbies that much, something still holds high ranked members back to introduce scam projects and that's the rank and reputation, it's not easy to rank up to senior or hero members, introducing a scam project will end up in red trust but it's not like this with newbies, they have nothing to lose
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for our dear project promoters on: October 28, 2020, 10:52:16 AM
We should always do good research on projects before promoting, follow high rated bounty managers and bounty detective already has escrowed in place for their projects, the choice you make or will make is very important, bounty hunters has no association so don't expect them to come together and fight for themselves, some bounty hunters don't mind making 10$ per bounty project
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: October 28, 2020, 10:43:25 AM
It's normal to lose money in the process of trying to gain some knowledge back, this is different from getting greedy for example you invested in a coin and it did 2x and you keep waiting for 30x to happen, I think this is what OP is talking about, it makes lot of sense to be honest, while volatility is alive in crypto world there is high chances that a coin will never go back to it's all time high again
