141  Bitcoin / Mining support / Have I killed my graphic card? on: March 14, 2014, 10:03:13 PM
Hey guys, I went out earlier after just installing windows 8 and setting up a miner for my R9 270X and when I came home, all it shows is the windows 8 activation screen. As in, even if I reboot into linux, it just shows the same static image of the activation screen with a mouse pointer in the middle.

Seems my card is just displaying the last frame it "saw". Is there any way of clearing this and getting it to work again or is it totalled?

Not sure if this is the right forum but any help/adive would be appreciated. Has anyone had this happen to them?

You have exceeded the pools configured volt warning threshold. Please initiate a transfer!

My wallet is sync today! What nice!

Created new manual payout request with ID #397  (http://volt.easy-mining.net/)

But it do not do anything!

Wallet is still emty!

Do anybody have a answer! It's about 50 000 000 coins. Have been mining from 24 febr 2014.
Pool could be on the wrong fork OR, if you synced with the downloaded blockchain, try a recheck

For windows (linux version post above):
Code:
electric-qt.exe -recheck

But mining 2.5 weeks on a coin like this? maybe not smart (or maybe it'll pay off big)... I wouldn't have chanced it though

SPAM SPAM SPAM mca.pool.mn MORE SPAM
I did mine a bit (not this coin obviously) with you but for all the spamming of your pool in this thread, I won't be returning.

Yet another cent... hey, I have two now! (see what I did there? see? SEE?)

edit: oh, and I see lots of complaints about your pool. Nice.... AVOID THIS CENT/POOL

Code:
BLOCK	VALIDITY	TIME
2829 42 left 14/03 09:20:40
2823 49 left 14/03 09:12:40
2819 45 left 14/03 09:08:52
2813 39 left 14/03 09:03:34
...
2773 27 left 14/03 08:34:05
2770 49 left 14/03 08:31:45

What? validity is all over the place. Makes no sense. Complete cent.

Just a suggestion...

altcoinfaucet was generous enough to provide a working blockchain but I'm sure he/she would be happier if we weren't using their bandwidth to download large 100mb+ files.

Maybe get that uploaded/mirrored elsewhere to save him some BW. He's already running a faucet for "us."

Oh, also... For anyone that might think they lost their coins in/around the fork try to force a recheck after a full sync.

Ie,
Code:
./electric-qt -recheck
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Electric] scrypt - Electric Updated! *HARDFORK 3/4/2014* *EXCHANGE ONLINE* on: March 14, 2014, 07:31:57 AM

It wasnt working when i deleted everything from the roaming folder. It didnt want to download the blockchain it stopped at block 479 or so. I had to download an older version and let it get to where the hard fork was then use the new version of the wallet to finish the sync.

Quote
I tried this with a linux version I compiled from source and it didn't work.  What a mess...

You can download the actual Blockchain here: http://uploads.altcoinfaucet.net/electric_chain.zip
Simply replace the blk* / database files.

That's quite a messy bug - not good for newcomers Sad

~Altcoinfaucet.net
Thanks, that allowed me to sync finally. My coinds didn't show though because they were withdrawn on the 7th and the blockchain was after that (10th?) however....

For anyone that might think they lost their coins in/around the fork try to force a recheck.

Ie,
Code:
./electric-qt -recheck

Worked for me. After syncing with the aboe blockchain there were no coins in my wallet, after a recheck, all accounted for.

Kinda high pre-mine, but I guess it is normal recently.
Not high enough. Needs to be 50%, with airdrop on a non windy day

1 for relaunch, may the +1 flow...

Hi. How can I contact the owner of the pool http://107.170.47.66/ ? I can't withdraw my coins from this pool. Support form not work or owners ignored my message.
This is murica, your coins have been liberated by the POTUS.

147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Murica Coin (FREE) [PoW/KGW] - Launched! on: March 14, 2014, 06:35:27 AM
SUCH A SCAM COIN... the second vowel is 'merica is an E not an U.... SCAM SCAM SCAM

Now if it was merkincoin I'd understand but muricacoin? SCAM BS SCAM. Dev is such a cent...

(too much positive today, must be negative... that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it)

But seriously, can't we stop the shitecoin business yet. It only helps devalue the main point of all "valid" (unshite) cryptocurrencies

(again, this is just to balance out a positive day... or is it?)

Damn 'merkins...

There, make sense of that!

I appologise for my poor English, it's my primary language.

I'm secretly waiting for a relaunch announcing a 50% premine to be airdropped to all 'merkins on thanksgiving day.

Whats going on with speedhash.eu they havent set up email notifications.
We cant send out coins nor reset password.
Worked for me earlier but gmail put it in the spam folder. He also said, earlier, that some other mail providers have issues.

Or just maybe the DDOS messed up the mail server.

Decent rig, fluctuates a lot (and I'm not sure bit I think it peaks closer to 13.5-14 MH/s rather than the stated 14.5) but for high profitability coins (eg, today's SPA launch) just the job. Helped me make 500% profit even with a late start.

Would have rehired had I had more BTC liquid at the time. Sadly the SPA payouts were too late and by then it was hired for a long time.

Overall would recommend for throwing some high MH/s at a potentionally highly profitable coin launch.

VERY Profitable !!!!!!!!
Yeah. Leased 14mhs of miner for 2 hours at 0.0048/hr, mined 33 coins, so far sold 15 for a total of 0.0397. If only I had more than 0.01 liquid at the time...

No wonder the ddosers want control

edit: total now at 0.051, with 12+ coins left (I might hold)
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPA] SpainCoin: freedom for Spain, LAUNCHED! on: March 13, 2014, 12:21:57 PM
You guys are telling me diff is only 78 because most pools are offline by means of ddos?
it's been in the 70-90 range for the past 5-6 hours, before the ddos (or maybe it hadn't spread to all the pools yet, but that seems to only be going for about 2-3 hours)

edit spa.speedhash.eu's hashrate is back up. it's over 1ghs now, even saw 1.5. network's is at 2.8ish

I cannot get my coins out from your pool, because I'm not receiving your email confirmations.  Please respond to me via PM or respond the emails I have sent your over the last 5 hours.  My email is the "uaivj@....com"

Please respond to me I would like to sell some of my coins.

Thank you
Check your spam folder. gmail marked it as spam for me...

owner says it's just the website a page or two ago - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=500511.msg5673887#msg5673887
But then things change fast in the game of ddos scumbag vs admin so...

this is retarded any working pool ?
spa.speedhash.eu works for me, though the main site occasionally throws a 502 (only a problem/annoyance if you haven't registered and configured yet). third to fifth refresh gets it to load, form submissions are probably pot luck but I guess refresh might work on those too, at least till the inevitable "token expired".
Hashrate has halved though so block finding is slower
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPA] SpainCoin: freedom for Spain, LAUNCHED! on: March 13, 2014, 11:40:32 AM
Guys relax, the virus scan is a false positive by some crappy virus scanners. download the rar, extract and scan just the spaincoin-qt.exe

Here's what you'll get https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/f8fcb389bdd65657e8a289555b2cc6c9097239c81cc3a5b13975d5c4dfbf4a38/analysis/
Code:
AhnLab-V3 Trojan/Win32.BitCoinMiner

Try yourself if you don't believe me (objectively I wouldn't, I don't have many posts)

edit: oops, jowinm got in there before me
