net hashrate is 640 mh/s right now.

{
"blocks" : 2930,

}

diff  Shocked
there goes whatever small hope there was of me finding a block... Guess I'll be coming home to an empty wallet Sad

This coin is well on it's way to becoming a pump and dump coin. Not worth solo mining for the small guy so it'll end up controlled by the few people with the hardware to bother.

This coin need a standalone miner and pool ASAP!
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LAUNCH] MatrixCoin (MTX) - SHA256 Coin - Bounties ~ NEW RELEASE! on: April 02, 2014, 02:46:33 PM
what is wrong here?

RCC: Error in 'src/qt/matrixcoin.qrc': Cannot find file 'locale/bitcoin_af_ZA.qm'
[snip]
RCC: Error in 'src/qt/matrixcoin.qrc': Cannot find file 'locale/bitcoin_zh_TW.qm'

As a temporary fix you can copy those from another coin, eg
Code:
cp somecoin/src/qt/locale/*.qm matrixcoin/src/qt/locale/
Also, I haven't check but I bet the files are there just named wrongly (case issues)

Any chance of more nodes? "addnode=107.170.206.242" doesn't quite cut it

I await the GPU miner, Now I have to use my CPU, 15x Dual L5639 just mining 700 TWE
Lol, no wonder I can't get anything with a single i7
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Twecoin] [TWE] CPU ONLY - 4 op new hash| NO PREMINE| LAUNCHED! on: April 02, 2014, 01:35:51 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong but this coin uses sphlib, the SHA3 candidate algos https://github.com/twe-project/twecoin/tree/master/src for which there's a GPU miner here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=475795.0 someone would just need to move few lines here and there to get working.
Not quite that easy but you're right, it's not hard, which is why I reckon there'll be a miner within days, if not hours. If I were home that's what I'd be working on.

there are two new algo   hamsi -> panama  only cpu now!!!
In what way are they cpu only? What, cause there's no miner yet? Big deal, it's trivial to add these to sph-sgminer since it already uses sphlib

This coin will be GPU mineable soon!

Actually, I'd probably bet that there'll be a GPU miner before a standalone CPU miner.

Lucky,   I got a block again.  Wink
At this diff? lucky... what cpu and hashrate?
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Twecoin] [TWE] CPU ONLY - 4 op new hash| NO PREMINE| LAUNCHED! on: April 02, 2014, 11:10:54 AM
seriously who the hell would bother solo mining this at this point?

My i7 is 1/2000 of the nethash, and with 120 minute block times that's 2 months for a block on average...

Without a pool you're just wasting watts.

Besides, this is all sphlib based so it won't be long before sph-sgminer GPU miner shows up. It's a few hours work at most

This coin seems very interesting!
But basically unmineable at the current difficulty... Needs a pool badly

every body who pm me, i will give you 1k coin.
Heh, I'd take you up on that if only I could get he wallet compiled under linux...

Code:
$ qmake
Project MESSAGE: Building with UPNP support
Usage:
    lrelease [options] project-file
    lrelease [options] ts-files [-qm qm-file]

lrelease is part of Qt's Linguist tool chain. It can be used as a
stand-alone tool to convert XML-based translations files in the TS
format into the 'compiled' QM format used by QTranslator objects.

Options:
    -help  Display this information and exit
    -idbased
           Use IDs instead of source strings for message keying
    -compress
           Compress the QM files
    -nounfinished
           Do not include unfinished translations
    -removeidentical
           If the translated text is the same as
           the source text, do not include the message
    -markuntranslated <prefix>
           If a message has no real translation, use the source text
           prefixed with the given string instead
    -silent
           Do not explain what is being done
    -version
           Display the version of lrelease and exit

Any chance of twecoin (Algorithm:fugue -> shavite -> hamsi -> panama) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=553593.0

I see the files sph_figue, sph_hamsi, sph_panama, sph_shavite so it it's sphlib based.

We're also getting decent voting started for SwissCex.  Anyone who wants to can vote here:

Just voted.

Would love to mine some but no sha256 hardware for me.

If anyone else can't mine and wants some bonus, bitbillion has a giveaway going.

Wallet sync stuck on block 75.

Any ideas?

edit: another coin with the precision/32 bit bug? if so, that's 3 now... Is the following a valid block or is there a bug.

Code:
2014-03-25 01:23:08 received block f0f3b3d222ff0d9330db22d33a0f3e963a65db7fea8286c38e3be5fc49f8c9ff
2014-03-25 01:23:08 ERROR: AcceptBlock() : incorrect proof of work
2014-03-25 01:23:08 ERROR: ProcessBlock() : AcceptBlock FAILED

Did you add nodes?
Yep, it wouldn't even get the first block without them. With them, got to 75 and stopped

I am trying to reproduce the error, please give me more information: Operating system, bits architecture (I guess 32bit), and which wallet do you use (console, qt) and for last do you compiled the wallet by yourself?
Sorry, I missed this post and only just found it now while trying to find other people with issues getting to block 76.

Linux mint 16
32 bit
qt wallet
Self compiled (I've done over 100 and none had build specific issues so I don' think it's relevant)
Another relevant thing might be processor, the dev of another coin thinks 1 bug in his wallet is related to precision errors of my CPU. It's an old Intel Atom N280

Maybe get in touch with the posters of the following 2 posts and see what they're using.

1st of April.

Oh, great to see Rotocoin in Real Madrid football matchs!
That's brilliant, I wonder how much ist cost

Oh btw, Evan has fixed the 32bit bug in DGW.

Dev, maybe think about backporting it. Plenty of users will remain affected otherwise.

If so, there seems to be a bug. I have the problem and you'd be the 3rd I know of, and there's probably more

If you're talking to me, I'm running it on Linux, and I have already checked the Windows wallet and it's fine Tongue.  For some reason, my Linux wallet is stuck at block 75.
I have the same problem. Is it a 32 bit system by any chance? And what CPU? Might help narrow this problem down

Is there a subreddit and a tipbot? I would maybe consider joining reddit just for diem.
