141  Economy / Services / Re: FastBluff.com is piloting a Signature Campaign! on: July 10, 2014, 07:41:53 PM
FastBluff, I would sign up, but I am currently trying to help out people in the UpDown.BT signature campaign that didn't get paid. Would it be a problem if I kept it and just added yours on the first line?

We can do it as long as it on top of the updown.bt signature and since you been around here for a bit.

I would love to do the escrow part if OP wants me to, but I doubt it's needed if gweedo pays any debt for them.

Do you have to sprint at every opportunity to do escrow? How well did you handle the last one?  Cool

Please don't bring personal issues that have nothing to do with this campaign to this thread.

Thank you Smiley

143  Economy / Services / Re: FastBluff.com is piloting a Signature Campaign! on: July 10, 2014, 07:20:27 PM
They will pay, I know the people behind this site, and if they don't pay you, come to me and I will pay out any debt for them Smiley

Anymore questions about payments? I think not....

*Investor in the site, not owner, or runner*

Thank you!!! Hopefully this clears up problems with people thinking we are out to scam people.

So who wants to be first one to join our beta campaign!

I would love to do the escrow part if OP wants me to, but I doubt it's needed if gweedo pays any debt for them.

I don't think we need escrow! Thanks for you for the offer! He is a great investor and mentor to our small team!
144  Economy / Services / Re: FastBluff.com is piloting a Signature Campaign! on: July 10, 2014, 06:25:58 PM
Will you pay upfront? (at least 50%)
I'm not going to give free advertising like with UpDown.

I am sorry updown didn't pay you, but we can't pay upfront for something that is first in beta, and second what if we pay you upfront, and you don't meet a requirement, then we lose our money. Paying upfront is more risk to us. So sorry, but if you are afraid we are not going to pay, just keep watching the thread, we are going to pay!

Willing to escrow your signature campaign payment?
1 month is long period for new campaign, and with many mess situation here in signature campaign world, only few people will join new campaign without escrow
and your rate seem same with PD rate (which PD has higher limit and more reputation), so i bet only few users interested with your campaign
For your reference : Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns
maybe you can make campaign for monthly payment, not pay per post since your limit is too low i think
good luck

Thank you, this is a beta campaign as we want to prove that we are willing to pay, and to see how this works for our site. We are not going to escrow unfortunately, as this is a small sample to see where it goes. These limits will probably be lift or the campaign will be cancelled depending on where this campaign goes.

For the same rate as PD but a lower cap, I think people would just choose PD.

You have the same rate as PD unless you have anything special or else people will just stay with PD .

This is a beta test, we plan on raising the limits after we see how this campaign performs for the site. If people are happy with PD, then great! This is just another option for another site Smiley Hopefully people want to see healthy competition in the gambling marketing.

We will be picking the first 15 people to participate.

Our rates (which we reserve to change at anytime due to the rising or falling of bitcoin prices)...

Hero Member - 0.0012BTC Per constructive post
Senior Member - 0.001BTC Per constructive post
Full Member - 0.0006BTC Per constructive post
Member - 0.0004BTC per constructive post
Jr. Member - Not allowed

A constructive post means...

It is not trolling, spam, agreement, or anything we deemed not constructive. It should add substance to the thread and be on topic. At anytime you can PM us and ask if the post is constructive or not after it has been posted.

We are limiting this to 50 constructive post, with a 25 constructive post minimum.

This is a pilot campaign so we are not sure if we will be continuing after this month, this maybe a 1 month thing we will update if we do.

How do you sign up, very easily, you add our url to your signature like so... (it must be the only url in signature and first!)
Code:
[size=14pt][font=Arial][b][url=https://fastbluff.com?utm_source=fastbluff][color=#0066FF]Fastbluff! || 1% House Edge Dice Game || Instant Payouts! [/color][/url][/b][/font][/size]
You can also design your own, and we encourage that! Maybe a bonus for the best design signature? You do have to edit the url to make sure it includes your bitcoin talk username, like in the example, failure to do so will result in no payments. After you add that to your signature, post it here with your payout bitcoin address and we will accept or deny. If you are accepted get start making your post!

Users Participating:

1. Your rates match PD, the lowest paid one.

2. You pay for 50 posts at most in a month, whereas PD pays for 400.

3. Your campaign is new and 1 month long. You need to either escrow or take it down to 1 week.

We will consider this all this!

Given the recent experiences with Updown and XBTec, I agree with most people here asking either for escrow or shorter payment periods. In relation to payment, and the low rates, perhaps you could make the campaign more attractive by offering some sort of referral bonus for participants.

We are working also on an affiliated payment system for our site, but we want to test this before committing to more post and more users. We understand that people are hesitant to join us and we are going to get one of our investors to speak in this thread. Smiley

Get real flastbluff.

"I didn't know I wasn't allowed to rob casinos so I abused a flaw (obvious to a motivated programmer) to steal from investors and expect all the guaranteed winnings I knew I would get eventually".

Go into a casino, try count cards and see how much of your "winnings" you leave with. If I understand the rules, it's not actually against the rules to count cards in blackjack. You talk about fair a lot, but an experienced programmer motivated by greed to steal from unsuspecting investors is not fair under any definition.

sjess is lucky Dean gave him anything at all.

Yes but you know those Terms before you even enter the Casino... basically all I am saying it is unfair for them to change their TOS and then retro-active it whenever they want too.
148  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRCDice.eu - Bitcoin/Dogecoin Dice - Leaderboards - INVEST on: July 08, 2014, 05:34:47 PM
To clear up the the situation with paying sjess:

Most of you know that there was a fault in the provably fair system.
This allowed anyone with computer programming experience, that had studied the provably fair code, to realise that rolls were biased in favour of "Hi" bets.

sjess, a programmer or working with a programmer, wrote a bot to take maximum advantage of the flaw.
sjess couldn't know the result of any rolls made but knew that given a high enough starting deposit, betting a small percentage of their balance and putting in thousands of bets that they would most likely profit in the long run.

sjess started with 5 Bitcoin and bet very small for hours, making over 38,000 bets, all while risking a small portion of their account balance.

sjess knew full well about the flaw and deliberately tried to steal investor funds.

The decision has been made to not pay out sjess the unfair winnings.
All rolls made by sjess have been reversed and investors paid back 19.4 Bitcoin.

A few people have mentioned that some casinos would pay out even if they knew the player took advantage of the system.
There is no casino/sportsbook, live or online, that I have played at or been in that would pay a player who done this.

Two of the largest casinos in the UK, William Hill and Bet365, state in their terms and conditions that they would not allow this activity and would freeze funds and close an account:

William Hill:
Quote
11.5.3     an "unfair advantage" shall include, without limitation:

11.5.3.1     the exploitation of a fault, loophole or error in our or any third party's software used by You in connection with the Services (including in respect of any  game);

Bet365:
Quote
4.2 bet365 reserves the right to close or suspend your account at any time and for any reason. Without limiting the preceding sentence, bet365 shall be entitled to close or suspend your account if:

(b) bet365 considers that you have used the Website in a fraudulent manner or for illegal and/or unlawful or improper purposes;

(c) bet365 considers that you have used the Website in an unfair manner or have deliberately cheated or taken unfair advantage of bet365 or any of its customers;

I have actually sent sjess the initial 5 Bitcoin deposited.

This decision is final and in future anyone who takes advantage of any software flaw will have their entire account balance seized.

The flaw has already been fixed an the site is running as usual.

This unfortunately meant that some players would have lost unfairly. This flaw affects roughly 4.6% of all "Lo" bets.
Refunds for these bets will be issued to players today.

To be fair, you didn't have that in your TOS before, and now you retro-activating that, that is not fair to sjess because maybe if he read that in your TOS he wouldn't have done it.
149  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRCDice.eu - Bitcoin/Dogecoin Dice - Leaderboards - INVEST on: July 08, 2014, 05:23:12 PM

Thanks.

Turns out I had heard about it before but hadn't heard the details.

It's surprising how many ways there are of copying JD wrongly Wink

The provably fair code, as some know, was the only part of the site I outsourced. To a trusted developer I knew who I was hoping to bring in full time to help out. Reviewed by another developer I thought I could trust who was also going to be joining full time.

It was actually on my list of things to review over the next few days as I wanted to get provably fair working for Blackjack.

So yes, I could have done more tests on this and not just rely on the word of what was to be my "team" but it's certainly not something that would have went on for months unnoticed as some suggest in the chat.

Lessons learned. People who lost unfairly are being refunded and things are back to normal.

Will post a more detailed report after I do the final refunds.

Can you name those developers so we can avoid them as a community? They are clearly not qualified to be working in this area of programming.
150  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRCDice.eu - Bitcoin/Dogecoin Dice - Leaderboards - INVEST on: July 07, 2014, 09:00:53 PM
Appears to be the case which is 100% bullshit.

It's a tough call.

Suppose you accidentally run a roulette game where 60% of the numbers are red due to a manufacturing error.

Some guy notices and plays for 15 hours non-stop, betting on red over and over, and wins a bunch.

Are you obliged to honour all his bets, even after he openly admits "I saw there were more reds than blacks, so I bet on red a lot"?

I don't know the answer.

I do think it makes sense to refund the people who bet on black and lost due to the error, but it's less clear what to do about people who won a bunch on red. Some of them didn't even notice the error and were just playing 'red' because they like red, but others were clearly playing because they saw they have a positive expectation.

I guess the right thing would be to pay him out, and take the hit. Whether to pass that on to investors or not is a separate question.

I would honor those bets, it is the right thing to do. He had advantage but not cheating, since it would be my error.

https://fastbluff.com doesn't have investments yet, but this is keeping our users from betting alot, and actually is one of the most requested features.
153  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ Spendprofit.biz ★★★ 2.5% Hourly profit - SSL Trusted ★★★ on: July 06, 2014, 07:13:04 PM
Yes. You will get 2.5% Every hours. Until you get the full 200% of the money you deposit.

But how exactly will you achieve that? Surely you're not just doubling our bitcoins for free without actually doing anything, out the kindness of your heart? Maybe I'm wrong...
Our team has many ideas to generate income for investors and ourselves.

Yea but how? Im not investing in anything without knowing that you have a legit and continuous way to pay out the 2.5%.

He keeps dodging a clear question obviously they are just trying scam, and get as many bitcoins as they can.
154  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there a better bitcoin gambling forum? on: July 06, 2014, 05:45:20 PM
We are still looking for a good gambling forum or a couple gambling sites that want to help build it!
155  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there a better bitcoin gambling forum? on: July 04, 2014, 09:01:48 PM
This one is the largest, but there might be better ones also.

Yes we are just looking for a good community for this market.

Would people be interested in this type of forum?

I am going to try it, but it looks like this forum.
157  Economy / Gambling / Is there a better bitcoin gambling forum? on: July 04, 2014, 07:35:21 PM
We are looking for a forum that is more geared towards developing, working on and using bitcoin gambling sites, instead of just promotion of the site. Does this exist?
158  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRCDice.eu - Bitcoin/Dogecoin Dice - Leaderboards - INVEST on: July 04, 2014, 07:11:45 PM
That's a very good point. We had people depositing 1000 BTC or more at once to JD, and it would sit on the hot wallet until it had one confirmation. Then it would be moved offsite. That was a risk in that anyone hacking the server would be able to steal it while it had 0 confirmations.

Of course anyone hacking the server could also see their own "server seed" and so could drain the whole bankroll over time by "getting lucky" with their rolls. Perhaps the presence of 1000 BTC sitting in the hot wallet would be too much for them to resist, and so they would make themselves known immediately, costing the site "only" 1000 BTC instead of draining the whole bankroll over time.

It doesn't matter PRC process thier withdraw manually and twice a day .

I think you entirely missed the point I was making.

How is their withdrawal schedule in any way related to someone gaining unauthorised access to the server?

The point Dooglus is making, is that people can just keep winning and still drain the cold wallet, it doesn't matter if the PRC processes withdraws manually.
