288  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitDoubler.net - Double Your BTC (get back your deposit x2) on: March 22, 2014, 06:43:16 PM
All, this is a scam. Cut your losses and stop post bumping so others don't get scammed as well.

If it wasn't a scam the pending deposits would have been cleared. His method is snow balling. I believe its around 40 BTC in at the moment to clear a .5 deposit. Eventually it will get so back logged like it is now that there almost little to no risk for OP. So essentially, the site may remain  in operation, but that doesn't mean people will get paid even their initial deposits. The OP is most likely on a flight to the Caribbean for a nice vacation..

There are 100s of other sites to gamble on. This is a high risk.

Dont post anymore in this thread. Let it die. The mods need to start killing ponzi threads. It's killing bitcoin.
289  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastBluff.com | Free BTC | Lottery Faucet | 1% Edge | Provably Fair | Dice on: March 22, 2014, 06:17:34 PM
I don't understand a thing, it means there is a rare chance to receive 1 btc from the faucet? I'm probably too sleepy to understand that o.o

There are many variables that calculate the faucet payout. One does not have to deposit money in order to win. The faucet has the same odds for everyone regardless of their statistics. Average payout is around .00000100 - .00001000. There have been several users that can attest that they have won more from the faucet. One user in particular has already claimed a prize of .1BTC.

292  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastBluff.com | Free BTC | Lottery Faucet | 1% Edge | Provably Fair | Dice on: March 22, 2014, 04:29:21 PM
My review for now is this:
It's not a the clone you often see on here, nice layout and i love dark graphic.
Yeah the faucet is a lottery, but hell, is still free money, you can't complain with it.
I see a bright future for this website.

P.S: add a /2 button!

Thank you!!

We have also added a few UI tweaks. More to follow.

Win More.. Play More..
293  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitDoubler.net - Double Your BTC (get back your deposit x2) on: March 22, 2014, 06:46:56 AM
I don't see how there's so many pending transactions here. It looks good but something seems wrong. I want to invest but something just seems...off.

There is always about 30 or so pending transactions but they seem to be clearing up throughout the day. Most likely a scam tho.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 22, 2014, 05:55:43 AM
Both, but bitcoin are better, easier to keep and to use : )

Bitcoin is better than gold, as long as the NSA doesn't bring a few gazillionhashes/sec with an ASIC farm they own to gain 51% the network. All it'd take for the NSA is a ~50-100mn USD equipment contract with some ASIC manufacturer (which is peanuts for their standards).

Gold has no 51% attack problems or external uncertainties of what the NSA will do tomorrow. It has however other types of uncertainties like what will happen to gold production if the energy prices are somehow down by 80-90%, or what will happen if underseas mining start, or what will happen if gold can, at some point, by synthesized by low energy nuclear reactions etc.

Why does everyone keep posting about the NSA taking over bitcoin. Am i missing something? There is NO WAY that one could achieve 51% of the mining rate. It would be absurd and overall and not cost effective as they would continually have to reinvest in equipment to maintain their mining rate.
295  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.01 loan on: March 22, 2014, 05:52:28 AM
We'd made this offer based off of the opinion that we most likely would not be paid back. A signature is a signature as long is the user is active and for .01BTC it is not a huge risk. Although the inappropriate context of his language may be an issue.

Why disguise your ponzi? you are taking one persons funds to pay another... right? It does not matter how or when you get there by definition.

So I do believe this to be a ponzi scam

So far the operator has been honest. Only time will tell but its most likely a scam. Avoid.
