Punin is working on cgminer implementation.

Is he going to support it going forward?

I suppose he will. He actually managed to get it hashing, but have other priorities right now.
lol - you basically just said "No"

No, I said that he has to deliever products to his customers first, and then provide support.
You said "suppose", the fact is you do not actually know. He has delivered all the product to his customer, He has his mine running, that might be his "other priorities right now".

Exactly as I stated.

One of the selling points was a "fork" of cgminer (I am a mod on IRC #cgminer and do testing of cgminer). Well established and always forked.

The software chainminer using "getwork" REALLY,  it seems even a year after it's release, you have a patch work solution for stratum, the major protocol of mining pools.

chainminer has no relation to cgminer. Putin's comments on he'll work on it when he can, shows his priorities.

I asked specifically if Dave was sending a board to Con and Kano and he said he would, he didn't, guess it's another fail or bad decision.
644  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: September 10, 2013, 11:01:35 AM
We ran short of M-boards due to the factory shortage of parts I mentioned.  I had hoped they would pick up the slack in production, but the break in production was felt last week when the shipment finally arrived from AK customs with no M-boards.  According to tracking, we only expect 12 tomorrow.  Every starter kit we send out takes 16 slots from the mine.  We have 54 starters left to ship.

A cost analysis shows that we would lose over 20TH if we ship out of the mine - taking over 800 cards out of the picture, which does not work well from a financial perspective.

The solution is to dedicate four rigs to a separate mining account and then send each customer their share of the coin once we ship.  Of course the customer will not pay a hosting fee or their share of power.  I have already repointed the hashpower to this dedicated account: https://www.btcguild.com/api.php?api_key=23fcc6a0f8292fe394b1706da8c0d304.

As soon as we ship these units, we will distribute the coin accordingly.  Thanks for your patience on this - please look for an email requesting your payment address before you send it to us.

Best,
Dave

So, let me get this correct, your using the M-Boards that were allocated to our orders to maintain your mine (I am an share holder) and you have allocated 4 rigs at BTC Guild at the PPS rate (as per the API) with a 7.5% fee((1 / Network Difficulty * 25) - Pool Fee (7.5%) https://www.btcguild.com//index.php?page=support&section=howamipaid  one of the highest pool fees out there).

Seems to me that your failing to walk your talk to ship out August orders before populating your mine. Let us not forget the rigs going to LabRatMining (which I am a shareholder also) which were purchased after most August orders were placed.

This could be considered a grave financial impropriety.

Please enlighten me as to how that is adventurous to us, seems like we are funding the operation of your mine with our equipment and getting paid way less than our own individual strategies. What advantage is that to us, are you sending extra h boards to compensate? Because the BTC payment based on your decisions seem inappropriate and you are profiting way more by holding our equipment while the production errors are catching up. Even now, we will not be able to achieve any ROI http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/9373700baf

You apparently have the equipment as per your analysis. I know I paid the full overnight shipping fee for an August starter kit. If your taking 800 cards out of the picture by shipping out our paid for equipment, we are getting Avaloned and your decision to do this without asking those of us waiting for orders is a poor choice.

You were doing so good, what happened to you.

My package just arrived. I'm afraid to open the box.  Cry I'm having issues lately getting things done. I've had 2 ASICminer Blades in hand for 2 weeks and they are still in their wrapping. Ethernet switches, power supplies, UPS'... I think i'm just overwelmed. Don't get me wrong, I know all about this stuff, it isn't a lack of knowledge. It is just motivating myself to get it done. I'm slightly handicapped and it is sapping my motivation. Undecided

Send them to me, I'll make sure they have a good caring home Smiley

647  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: September 08, 2013, 09:01:55 AM
Looks like all OCT h-boards are gone now. Glad I ordered more earlier.

Maybe because of demand they can direct more of them towards Dave. Smiley

I got more H-boards to sell in October!

C'mon Dave, get the CC situation straightened out.  It's been over a month.  You're losing a lot of sales!  I'm up for 4 more H Boards if I can use a CC.

The crew and I took a well needed weekend off - we've all been working non stop for 3 weeks straight.  Back to it Monday...

So all is well and all August Delivery orders have shipped?

Dave,
where are you on the balance of Aug Deliveries?
Will you be replacing the v1 M boards with the v2 M boards?

BUMP!
I would like an answer to my question.

I have a tracking number for order 97.
order number 116 looks like it's still in 'paid' status.  I think 116 is the last august regular order. There are probably a few august refund orders after it.

/cet

I'm in the 130s for an August order and am still sitting at paid.
I bought the last starter kit for Aug and it's in the 2xx range - still showing as paid

His keeping us up to date is WAY better than anyone else has!  Do us all a favor and either be positive of shut the f up. You have shown how much of an idiot you are. Stop wasting our time to read your STUPID responses.

What is the actual Gh rate for each H board as it will be shipping?
658  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Time to sue ButterflyLabs - Big Single-SC owner let's league for class action on: August 26, 2013, 01:57:48 AM
Nobody posted anything contrary to me.  Not even sure what that means, Josh.

edit:
Maybe you can explain, you are so smart!
You deleted Red_Wolf_2's post more than once.  You obviously did not like that he disagreed with you about me being Josh.  He also said something about int03h who turned out to be Ivan.  Guess you just need your talking heads to agree with you and anything else gets deleted.

Who cares! take this to direct post, and get a room! Enough already!
659  Economy / Securities / Re: [PicoStocks] 100TH/s bitcoin mine [100th] on: August 26, 2013, 01:53:38 AM

I think the first post of this thread said $4 per GH. If that was for 100TH, now should be $2 per GH.
I am not sure about the up-to-date data, but i am afraid yours could not be correct.

That was true at a share price of 0.04 B and bitcoin price in Feburary of around $20 for B
Stock price has gone up around 8X since then and bitcoin price by around 5X for a total
return to date of nearly 40X.

Yes, you are right. But if this price is correct, that is 0.75B/GH. It is too expensive. DMS.MINING on BTCT only costs 0.66B/GH currently. Considering there's no delay, no electricity cost, no downtime, no any glitch for DMS MINING since it is a virtual mining bond, I think the 100TH is still over priced.
Good for you, invest there and stay out of this thread, when the difference is how business is transacted, then come back.
660  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: August 26, 2013, 01:47:30 AM
Dave: Can you clarify whether the default ("free") shipping method to US customers is USPS Standard Post (7-8 days to most destinations) or USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days)?

If USPS Standard Post, can you add another shipping upgrade to the site for US customers to upgrade to USPS Priority Mail for $5 or something?

There should be a lower price overnight/express priority shipping for those who are only getting the 25Gh starter kit.

I'm definitely not going to stick you with long shipping time to save a few bucks.  In looking at the $199 shipping option against a single starter, I'm not super happy with the increase in cost to you.  My choice to provide a single one-size-fits-all shipping option is adding too much cost to the starter kits.  However,  I'm wary of introducing more complications by adding a second option at this time, but rest assured I'm going to revisit this issue and make it right.

Most of the cost of the expedited shipping option provides insurance.  The insured cost of shipping a full rig is what mainly drove the expedited shipping price.  If you ordered a starter kit and then purchase expedited shipping, I will either refund a portion of that $199 or drop store credit on your account.  The amount will be $100.

The idea here is to get them in your hands as soon as possible, not drive the price up 15%

Cheers,
Dave
I appreciate that, I have already paid for the express shipping, The credit on the account is welcomed, and I want to continue to buy additional units (M and H units) from you.
