1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: July 30, 2023, 10:39:14 PM
Don't fret brother, it's not a good option if you don't Really know what it is exactly that you're doing. It sounds like your experience F.O.M.O | FEAR Of Missing Out. Never FOMO into a trade.
You should learn the basics first. Soon I will be making threads in this section. I want to help newbs like you to trading, I build trading view indicators, and I'm working on a suite just for the Bitcointalk newbs!
I'd figure I'd give back to the community that has given me so much, and also I hope to increase my merit and rank, I've been here for a while and haven't put in enough work yet.

I would like to enlarge my pocket, do you guys offer a bounty campaign, and if so will there be a signature campaign?  Grin Seems like a pretty straight forward roadmap, nothing too outrageous of a goal to keep.

Might I ask will there be a bounty campaign for promotion? I could really use a good signature campaign right about now, been a long while since I was able to find a good gem, especially these days!  Sad

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC Volatility More of an Advantage than Disadvantage? on: August 20, 2021, 10:32:45 AM
I think the beauty would be within the eye of the beholder this case. For example, many traders here within the community came first from, forex, and most likely from the traditional stock markets, etc.
The crypto markets are 24/7 while traditionally, markets are closer to being a 9-5, Monday - Friday (depends on time zone) type of scenario. Those guys are here for either the volatility, the future utility, (or both), and the serenity and sovereignty that Cryptocurrency provide.
So in my humble opinion, I think the Volatility is a double edged sword. A gift and a curse. The volatility is a Sword of Damocles, Many leverage it all on the volatility hoping to moon, but end up catching a falling knife (liquidation) that was hanging by a single thread of volatility.  Cool

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: April 29, 2021, 02:53:04 PM
I look backward and see a lot of challenge facing bounty hunters and I can only see that things will get harder. The mental stress of looking for the right bounty to promote, waking up in the middle of the night for several hours to complete tasks for months just to realized you won't get $1 for all your time.

It is another scenario when you discover that the project you promoted is doing great at the exchange market but you realized the team are refusing to give the reward of your labour or change the rules regarding the campaign just to make it hard for you to get your reward.

I think most of this project team see hunters as being toothless because they know the worst you can do cannot affect their project. They name you different names just to make you look like a fool in the eyes of investors.

Until there is a way to deal honorably with these team, hunters will continue to suffer
Maybe you've been picking the wrong kind of campaigns, I hate to be the guy to say it, because I'm not gung ho on the merit system but it's the only way. Ranking up affords you the ability to participate in not only better campaigns, but also for better wages. There are a lot of scams out there, but the one thing I've learned here on this forum is that, patience is a virtue, if you just practice you're due diligence and research a project thoroughly before joining, you could save your self the time, energy, and stress from participating in shady projects or projects whose teams deal in shady practices.
I' too, have participated in a bad campaign and have been scammed as well. The best way I myself combat the situation is by prevention, whereas by practicing my Due Diligence for every campaign I consider  participating in.  Wink
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Elon Musk "Smart" Tweeting Continues! on: April 29, 2021, 02:53:47 AM
I have a really hard time understanding how people don't realize that Bitcoin could easily be bought off by the wealthy. The truth is, institutional money and powerful figures could single handedly overtake Bitcoin and the crypto markets at anytime if they really wanted to, or the regulators could kill cryptocurrency all together by simply making crypto to fiat exchanges llegal.
In what chance on gods green earth would you have out walleting someone like Musk, not even if you won the Powerball lottery. People with long money could swoop in and turn this sector into wall st, but they don't because it's not smart to interfere with a new industry that's still within its infancy, as that would suffocte progress and stifle innovation.
I'm sure Musk knows what he's doing, he's pro crypto after all!  Tongue
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you get mad when the price of your cryptos go higher after you have sold on: April 29, 2021, 02:42:02 AM
This is a really good question, but this one happens to resonate personally with me. Over the years there were several projects didn't practice my due diligence on and ended up selling super early before the coins or tokens mooned. In fact it I'm still beating myself up over it till this day, I just can't seem to let some things go, even though it is unhealthy!     Undecided
15  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-04-21] Governments can stop Bitcoin by shutting down mining, says Electric on: April 29, 2021, 02:08:40 AM
I really don't know if there is an actual way to kill off Bitcoin, unless it simply becomes irrelevant and people stop paying it any attention. That's the only way that I can really think of to stop Bitcoin, is for it to become irrelevant. Also if the governments around the world really wanted to play ball, they could simply prohibit the exchange of cryptocurrency into fiat and pass a law for the banks ro stop dealing with customers who make cryptocurrency related transactions.
This could really deflate the market something serious if people were forced to hold their bags and not be able to exchange their crypro into fiat.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk statement on his Bitcoin holding on: April 29, 2021, 01:54:18 AM
Even if Musk did do it, what could anyone possibly do to stop it? Bitcoin is valuable, so that means any one with enough Capital can buy in indefinitely. I'd like to remain optimistic though, and do believe in the original dream of the block father, and founder, Satoshi Nakamoto Son. There's a glimmer of hope that shines a the end of the tunnel, and even if Bitcoin doesn't survive the future, I'm certain another Blockchain project that shares a similar ideology as Bitcoin will.
I'd like to think Ethereum being the lead coin within the future, as Bitcoin has already set the standard.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla still an unprofitable automaker on: April 28, 2021, 07:04:53 PM
Tesla is too futuristic for the average consumer and also to expensive. The average Joe can't afford a Tesla, let alone have a place to plug her in at night. The Tesla is a luxury vehicle and let's not forget that we are indeed within Pandemic that kind of puts things into a recession. I believe that when the economies around the globe star to pick up after the pandemic starts to fade, and we return to normal
(what ever the new normal is, off course). I have faith in Musk, he is really ballsy, that podcast that he did with Rogan where he was fried from all the kush, he won me over that day. It even lost him investors, but gained him some new fans, especially since he's pro Bitcoin!

Don't count Musk and Tesla out,  I'm calling it first, With Musk's Bitcoin purchases , Tesla is set to become the next Weyland yutani corporation (minus teh zenomorphs)
18  Economy / Economics / Re: FINALLY ALL MONETARY AUTHORITIES IN THE WORLD WILL ADOPT BITCOIN on: April 28, 2021, 06:56:23 PM
It always takes the majority of other countries to wait and see what the United States is going to do first, and that goes for just about anything, from laws and policies, to the adopting of westernized technology. Whenever the U.S puts up a fuss about something, or makes a major decision that involves adopting something new,  you'd best believe that the other nations will follow suit and wait to see how the scenario plays out. Being that crypto adoption is healthy within the U.S, Others nations are slowly becoming more laxed as well towards cryptocurrency adoption and related services.
Let's not forget that this is still the wild west frontier as far as regulation goes, but order is slowly taking place. Go crypto!  Grin
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeSwap Vs PancakeSwap on: April 28, 2021, 06:46:30 PM
It's a beautiful see the real time effects of live advertising. I watched as ApeSwap came from seemingly no where, but had a massively success bounty campaign that most certainly boosted their presence. Their bounty campaign and the Apeswap signatures were freaking everywhere all over the forum, I was mad that I missed out on it. Glad to see another project step into the light of great success ,all the while getting their start right here on the forums! Sweet! I hope more projects that are similar do bounty campaigns.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: April 28, 2021, 06:36:53 PM
I've Been seeing a lot of hype behind DOGE coin and I still don't understand it. I guess DOGE coin has became considerably bigger than I would have ever dreamed. I remember when It first came out. I didn't understand the Meme or the humor behind it. I thought it was just a shit coin because there were all kinds of coins popping up out of no where rehashing the same old consensus algorithms in an attempt to get rich. 2017 is a prime example of clone coins coming into climax.
